"A thing," was Shoichi's only response. His next movement took him to the fridge, where he retrieved the necessary pieces for Chiyo's bowl in particular. He gathered lemon flavored ice-cream, pudding, and a dozen or so of the lemon oreos he had been snacking on while cooking, as well as an actual lemon from the fridge's fruit drawer. He then tossed a total of four pancakes into each goblet to lace the bottom, and began working on the filling, which started with different flavors of ice-cream for each bowl.

"Fuck! Fine..." Chiyo started a minor sarcastic tirade as she sat in her chair pulling her legs up into the crossed position with the most minor of pouts on her face. Her arms were also soon crossed under her chest as she seemed to want to go on a bit. "I mean, I ask legitimate questions and don't get them answered, all the time. I fucking love that shit. I'm totally the pillar of fucking patience." the fanged girl mouthed off a bit as she leaned her head against the back of the chair and closed her eyes, figuring that she would eventually get the answer to her question, but not being able to help wanting to make a fuss about not being immediately gratified with the answer she'd been seeking.

"Oi, shut it!" Shoichi said as he sent the cookie of an oreo, dipped in a mixture of its filling, pudding, ice-cream, lemon shavings, and syrup, rocketing toward the Storm Queen's open mouth while her speech came to an end. "Have a sample, and don't pester an artist about what they're working on."

At the end of her tirade a bit of cookie with random other things attached to it was shot into the Storm Queen's mouth by Shoichi while he said something about not pestering him while he worked and about giving her a sample. This seemed to be a thing which was becoming rather common while the small girl was on a tirade. She was beginning to wonder if this was a common thing that used to happen a lot or if this was just something he decided to do because she was always fussing about something. And while she would have liked to argue about how such a thing wasn't even necessary she couldn't begin to properly because she'd tasted a small slice of heaven in her mouth. 'Sugei!~ It's so good!~' she chimed in her head as a tear came to the corner of her eye and she chewed the most excellent bit of food that her life would allow. 'I want this always~' she thought as she shook her head from side to side and appreciated this good taste in silence.

Since there was nothing else said by the fanged girl, Shoichi figured there would be no further interruptions. As such, he did everything necessary to complete the three dishes he'd been working on. The first one he slid down the table was Usagi's, which featured a raspberry theme. This was followed by Chiyo's lemon-themed parfait, then by Shoichi's own multi-flavored choice. "Shoichi Special Breakfast Parfait! Pancakes, ice-cream, confections and syrup to match the flavor of choice, whipped creme, and... well, you get the point. Dig in!"

Chiyo tried to wait patiently but soon enough there was a parfait being slid down the table towards Usagi. It seemed to be raspberry themed which let the small girl know that one was on the way for her. And soon enough she was rewarded wide eyes emerged from Chiyo's face as she looked upon lemon perfection in a large goblet which Shoichi called his 'Special Breakfast Parfait'. As she looked upon it she seemed completely stunned and then there were the words which explained the contents, when told to dig in she picked up a long handled spoon from beside her on the table and grinned seemingly excited by what was in front of her. "Itadakimasu!~" she said aiming to begin carving up her bowl and upon receiving this first delicious spoon full, even after the previous taste she couldn't help but really appreciate it. "SUGEI!~ IT'S SO GOOD!~" the girl chimed as she sat happily dancing in her chair with this bowl of lemon perfection, which she was seriously considering declaring her undying love for.

As Chiyo began the consumption of her parfait, Usagi did the same from the other side of the woman. After only having a small bit, her eyes were alight with shimmering stars with an applied comical enlargement about them. "Sho-kun! You've outdone yourself!" she said while hugging the goblet and having another bite. Meanwhile, Shoichi sampled his own and absorbed the compliments to the dish. Though he had nothing in particular to say about this, he did take a moment to flex and point toward the writing on his apron while clearing his throat.

Chiyo continued to eat her dessert and breakfast with all the glee her small person would allow. It seemed that Usagi was also very much in appreciation of her meal having her own comically innocent reaction to it. As Chiyo devoured the flexing of the Sky King and his hinting towards the joke on his apron would not go unnoticed. But as she was presently stuffing her face, Chiyo would do nothing about this immediately. Actually she'd finish her present bite before raising her left middle finger to the young man as she continued to devour her food, before her next bite she uttered but a single word. "Kamikorose." she said her eyes narrowing before her happiness returned almost as quickly as it had drained from her perfectly joyful features.

Shoichi's spoon swirled around in his parfait for a short while, and as it did, he received Chiyo's response to his earlier gesture. "Yare yare daze," he said in a huff. "Now that just ain't fair." Usagi chuckled under her breath at the ongoing interaction, but said nothing directly about it. Instead, she silently continued eating her own parfait.

Chiyo had the most devious smirk on her face, as she continued to eat her breakfast parfait which she'd secretly named 'Lemon Dream'. As she consumed the Sky King apparently mentioned something wasn't fair given her response to what she assumed was only a cheeky apron. The small girl's eyes flickered over to the Pledge Queen who seemed to be silently enjoying her own breakfast, and then back over to the Sky King. She ate and closed her eyes still happily dancing to an unknown beat in her chair while appreciating her food. "Uh-huh. I assume there is an explanation in there somewhere I am waiting on..." she mentioned still seemingly as pleased as she was when she first saw the dessert.

As this sort of ordeal was unquestionably the forte of the Sky King, he made incredibly quick work of his own parfait without much hesitation. By the next time he had to speak, he was beyond the halfway mark and stirring the remains of the concoction together before continuing with it. "Won the bet. Still paid for losing. Case. Point," he replied.
As this little discussion, dispute, or whatever it was to be called, continued, one particular male with purple hair in the shape of a pineapple was deciding to let himself in the front door of Takeuchi Manor.

Chiyo was also making fairly good work of her dessert, she'd be eating while Shoichi explained what it was she was missing from their current discussion. When it was explained that he had provided the material which was bet upon by the two she took a few moments to remember that particular bet. It was the case that the Sky King had won, but what he was talking about and what was agreed on were two very different things. "Fuck! I almost forgot about that..." she said a small smile coming to her face. "Eh, but... from what I remember that isn't what I owe ya'." she said as she continued to eat. "But, no one can say I'm a liar or not a fair sport... so I still got ya' but after me and Lemon Dream finish up~" she said referencing the dessert dish by the name she'd given it in her head as she continued to eat. She knew nothing of the incoming different male.

"It's not what you owe. But that's the point, innit?" Shoichi said, though it seemed to be the case that he was on the right track in this discussion of sorts. That is, until the Tar King, Tsukino Mukuro, finished making his way through the house to reach the kitchen they resided in. "Really? This much of a wait, and I arrive to find repulsive aprons and what is by far the most fattening amalgamation of confections I've ever seen?"

Chiyo continued eating, finding the Sky King's logic to be a tiny bit flawed. But given bets between them usually turned into nothing anyways it didn't seem worth thinking about more than what he'd already verbalized. "Uh-huh, Shoichi Logic~ S'all good though. If you're up for it maybe..." she started to say something but it seemed they were being joined by the Tar King who immediately seemed to take issue with breakfast, Shoichi's choice in clothing, and some wait they hadn't known about. "Ohayou gozaimasu, Muu-nii. I take it that means you don't want any~" she said in greeting to the purple haired male who seemed to have entered the house through his own volition for whatever reason. She spooned up another bite before remembering something important. "And for the record, I've got no idea what you've been waiting for..." she mentioned as she continued to eat.

A grin passed the Sky King's face, as it seemed Chiyo's words were ones that were on the same page as his own, as it were. However, an interruption occurred by fault of the purple-haired Tar King. Shoichi rolled his eyes and returned to his parfait without another word, thinking the man's timing could not have been worse. "I wouldn't be caught dead eating anything like that," Mukuro said regarding the parfaits being eaten by this household trio. "In your absent pleasure-seeking, I've missed out on four regular Shogi games, and Akiza has tried dragging me into an equal number of yoga classes. If you're going to disappear for such a reason, at least have the decency to give me my games first."

As the Tar King seemed to settle into his conversation Shoichi had gone quiet. And while Mukuro explained his present state to the Storm Queen she continued to eat her confectionery slice of heaven with a happy smile on her face. "Your loss~" she chimed when the purple haired young man stated he had no intention of eating anything like the breakfast dessert combination they were currently partaking of. He went on to explain that in her absence of the last 5 days, that he'd missed out on several Shogi games and that he'd apparently almost been dragged along to several Yoga classes instead. A bit of a smirk came to the fanged girl's face as she finished another large bite before she spoke. "Fuck! Well, I did say I wouldn't be reachable for a week, I can't say I've even seen my phone in the last six-ish days." she mentioned seeming unsure of the exact timing because she had no idea how long she'd been sleeping. She looked to Shoichi then wondering if he'd fill in that blank for her. "Also Imma need you to find something else to call that... you sound older than holy hell." she began seemingly amused by this entire situation. "Besides that, a bit of yoga wouldn't be bad for you Muu-nii, and I'm sure Aki-nee wouldn't mind the company." she reasoned through, she took another bite and had the most astonishing idea and was rather surprised to find Mukuro before her without this having been done already. "Besides, I figured you'd both just replace my participation in such events with Shi-nee, in my absence. In fact, I am not sure why you don't play her specifically more often, she seems like she has the right skills and mental state to be a way more challenging opponent than me." she finished up before going back to her food and awaiting the explanation for why this wouldn't work which she assumed was why the man was standing before her now.

"Hai. Six days, excluding today," Usagi said, answering in place of the Sky King who seemed to have as little of an idea how much time had passed as Chiyo herself. Of course, being the outside perspective who'd actually been sleeping and carrying on regular daily activities, Usagi had been able to keep track of things just fine. Mukuro didn't seem to care for the time, nor the reason, but he did take issue with a few notable things in Chiyo's retort. "I won't take part in some silly little yoga class. I decided to... compromise, instead. And no, there's no point in playing against Shizuka. We've tried, and the games never end. Why do you think I've been playing against you all this time? I figured if I could get you to the same level as Kanda, I could have some decent practice before my next game against Shizuka."

"Thanks, Usagi-nee! Fuck, it's day seven though?!" Chiyo seemed very surprised by the news. Mostly because it meant she'd slept the better part of 24 hours and that was an amazing feat. Though given the amount of time they'd been awake and 'pleasure seeking' as Mukuro would have put it, she supposed that amount of downtime was expected. As Mukuro went on to explain that he wouldn't have attended the Yoga classes and had instead come to some sort of other agreement with Akiza a wide grin spread across the fanged girl's face. "Compromise~" the girl chimed rather deviously. When that word was spoken in such a way it meant interesting things in her head, and at the very least would give her something to tease the Thorn Queen with later. This rather devious grin remained in place, even as the Tar King explained his reasoning for playing in Shogi games against the Storm Queen. "Fuck! That's a bit annoying. Eh, if I was normal that would piss me off." she said of his plan to make her into a better player to practice on. "But I respect the desire for superiority." she said with a curt nod, after all, such a desire was a corner stone to her own personality so she couldn't really find fault in it. "I assume you came here to play then?" the girl said as she took the last bite of her ridiculous breakfast and savored it with eyes closed genuinely seeming to have met some sort of infatuation with the dessert.

"No; I'm not here to play at all," Mukuro said regarding the presumed Shogi game. "I have... something I need to get ready for later. At your current level of skill, winning against you would take a few minutes too long for the schedule I have going for today. Since you refused to have an active phone for answering any of my messages over the past week, I came in person to make sure you were actually coming to the team meeting tonight."

"Oh?" the girl expressed some surprise that the Tar King hadn't come to play, and that he apparently had plans which would in some way, overlap too much with the kind of play they did together. A look of confusion would pass over the young Storm Queen's face as her eyes opened and traveled over the Tar King's form. Still, since she hadn't checked her phone in days she supposed she could understand the house call, not that it really mattered to her. "Hai! I'll be there..." she said knowing that if it was day seven then they were rather quickly approaching the end of the time she'd promised to give Shoichi her undivided attention, besides that, they lived together and she could always do more for them later when they wouldn't have visitors or other things to do. "Also are you gonna tell me what it is you're up to? You had to know I'd be curious... and it's probably not the best idea to let me draw my own conclusions~" the fanged girl mentioned with a devious smirk spreading across her face.

"Good. Since we're all obviously participating in the current Parts War, I thought it'd be best if we went about solidifying our core teams. Shizuka and I devised a course which would put your abilities to use in reviewing the members of each team, while also permitting the initiation of the newer members into our divisions, if necessary. Shoichi, you may have your pick of the remains for whatever rag-tag team you'll be throwing together," he said while glancing with narrow eyes in the Sky King's direction. "Nah. Fuck all that," the white-haired man replied swiftly. "I'll throw a new team together. I don't want my group to come from you guys' camps."
Without further ado, the Tar King turned to take his leave; albeit not before being halted by one final inquiry by the Storm Queen. He stopped in his tracks only long enough to look over his shoulder and reply. "If you must know, and for the sake of shutting up any future dribble you'll come up with as speculation, I'm going on a shopping trip. As I said: Compromise."

And it seemed like after that and a brief exchange the Tar King would be off on whatever trip he planned to take this afternoon. Only before he left completely he seemed to want to answer Chiyo's previous inquiry and as he paused only long enough to relay the information a huge grin spread across the small girl's face as she exploded into a fit of giggles. Her laughter was such that she wouldn't get the chance to bid the purple haired man a proper goodbye. It would take her a few moments to get herself back under control but once she did, she wiped a tear from the corner of her eyes. "That clears up a couple of questions. By the time Mukuro's departure could be considered absolute, Shoichi had taken the very last bite of his parfait and started cleaning the goblet. Now that it had been a topic of conversation, Shoichi wondered who he would be looking for to complete his team for the Parts War. He had a couple of ideas, though one was a bit of a gamble, but that was quite literally a matter for another day. He supposed for the others, he'd be looking into these supposed initiates. "Nice! There should a few interesting ones of those. Happy Hunting!~" and just like that the Storm Queen had shifted focus. Her own bowl was already empty and she was now leaning back in her chair forcing it to balance on its back two legs. By her own approximation she'd need to swing by the Twins' apartment to get her Black Order Uniform. And beyond that she'd need to speak with Kanda. Her own team, had a core which was presently only three people and she needed to sort out her own final two members. The meeting would be a good time to shuffle some people around. "Fuck! I should get my phone and see how many people freaked out while I was gone. Bet the messages from Muu-nii are hilarious~" she said allowing her chair to fall back with her in it. But by the time it would have hit the ground she was standing and pushing it back into place with her left foot. After this she would stroll around the table to squeeze a quick hug out of the Pledge Queen before she headed out. She felt really good at the present moment, like she could do literally anything, and it was such a good feeling.

Though Usagi had finished eating as well, her dish was nowhere near empty. This was nothing to worry about, though, as the small white creature called Buster came flying into the kitchen to eat it from a perch atop the Pledge Queen's shoulder. This occurred immediately after the young woman was released by Chiyo, but its arrival did not silence her words. "I'll come tonight, too. This was after the hug and release of the pink haired young woman and the arrival of a certain little creature named 'Buster' of whom the Storm Queen was quite fond. As it perched atop the Pledge Queen's shoulder, the small fanged girl let out a minor delighted squeal. "Kawaii~ Buster! It's been ages~" she chimed in a low voice rather happily giving the small animal a pet. This would only last for a few seconds though. The other young woman's words though would definitely be noted and appreciated by the pig-tailed girl. "Hai!~ See ya' there~" she mentioned finally peeling herself away. "Ooh maybe we can play afterwards~" mentioned Chiyo as she headed out of the kitchen. "I'll be upstairs a bit longer if anyone needs me before I head out..." she mentioned in passing before she hit the stairs seeming to take them about 5 at a time without really trying. Later in the afternoon, a wind tunnel of Shoichi's creation reached the building from within the residential area nearby, first giving way to numerous boxes filled with Mikasa's belongings. A minute or so later, Shoichi himself descended. He brought with him the Thunder Queen Mikasa, as well as the girl's two friends he'd so recently met. Once again, there was a soft landing to end the hasty drop. "Okaerinasai!"

The exciting nature of the ride over had all three girls having a huge grins on their faces. "Sugoi!~" the all chimed as they came to a soft landing after a rush of exciting twists and turns on the way over. It was something very different than they expected and higher up than any of them had been in a very long time. "Arigatou Gozaimasu, Sho-nii." Mikasa said seemingly very pleased in a way that wasn't necessarily about the ride but about the smiling faces of her two friends who were still holding hands and circling each other in their excitement as they discussed the Sky King's awesome transportation abilities. This would occur for a few seconds before they looked to the actual house and all stopped moving and stared.
"Sho-nii you've redecorated." she said which was likely the understatement of the century because the house looked completely different than she remembered from the time she'd originally come back and tried to room there. Sawa seemed stunned. "Wow! This place is awesome!" she said. "It's so big. I saw construction on this place, I thought it was going to be a resort. This is your house?" said Hana who seemed to be stunned by the massiveness of this house. Most would also be rather shocked to find out that the Sky King was presently only living within with two other people. Now three.

"Doitashimashite!" he replied to the Thunder Queen's apparent gratitude. When the others were looking at the building, he did as well, finding a bit of amusement in Mikasa's assessment of the place. "Well, yeah... sorta... kinda... not really. Jun and I kinda blew the house up a few months back, so it's been rebuilt. All but three of the rooms here have officially never been slept in. Well... two... but that ain't important."

Mikasa simply smiled as she took in the new place she'd be calling home. The information that the reason for the remodel of the house was because of a misadventure between the Sky King and the Rumble King made Mikasa's eyes light up. The other two girls also stopped their musing and stared. They didn't know much about many of the Gravity Children but Jun was a name they knew. There was also the bit about only 3 of the rooms in the house being occupied, but the last bit about their only being two was only truly caught by Hanako. "Jun'Ichi-kun..." was the name said by the Thunder Queen before she rather quickly tried to cover her very specific interest in the green haired young man. "Eto, this is a huge house for only four people. But it looks amazing." she said leaving the subject alone while a set of quick glances between the group led to giggles. "I am still not over the fact that you're claiming that you and a single other guy are the reason for your previous houses destruction..." Sawa mentioned. Then again, she hadn't been privy to the kind of destruction that could be caused by gravity children with active regalia. Or even some of the stronger ones just by virtue of their runs.

Once they were all inside, he turned to look toward the darker-haired young woman in Mikasa's friend group. "Well, not really. And his explanation was one that Sawa still couldn't quite grasp. When he went on to say that Sawa herself would be capable of such a feat. "Nani?! Me, yeah, I don't think I got mansion destruction in me. Nor do I think I wanna do any such thing.~" the girl said. She was a rather cheerful individual and seemed to find this whole thing utterly ludicrous. And then beyond that point, there was the matter of finally getting the things into the house which Mikasa would get to. "So if only three of the rooms are taken, which ones are they... I wouldn't wanna take over anyone's space." she said seeming to just be trying to figure out room placement and the like so that she didn't put herself too close nor too far away from her housemates.

He would then look up at the floor which contained the bedrooms in this building, recalling the room setup before answering the young woman's question. "They'll be obvious. All our rooms are full of shit already, so you can just go ahead and take whatever empty one you want. They've all got basic furniture, though. So... about that meeting." "EH!?" this was the first reaction of Sawa as Shoichi explained why she'd want the ability to destroy houses and that Mikasa had such an ability already. The look the brown haired girl gave her made Mikasa's eyes widen and then she rather suddenly blushed just a tiny bit looking off into the distance. "I mean... I don't generally ride to do such things. I could probably cause a big enough charge to topple a small building... or two. It's kind of an easy bar to reach set among the people I grew up with." she explained. To be fair Mikasa couldn't personally think of a single one of her gravity children peers who couldn't down a building if they wanted to. Moving right along Sawa just smiled. "That's some entirely different bars to set. Beautiful, you're gonna have to be a bit more forth coming with this kinda information. We've been friends for years now~" she said seeming to laugh the whole thing off. After all, everyone had secrets and she wasn't really the sort to pry.
Shoichi on the other hand, seemed to be interested in finding out if they were still planning to attend the meeting. Mikasa planned to, and knowing she'd rather easily be able to find a room to move into she seemed satisfied about it. Hanako took this opportunity to speak up for the first time in a while. "I still want to go, it's been a while since I've been to a team meeting I still think it will be fun." she said seeming to nod. Meanwhile Sawa's eyes lit up. "YOSH!! Just had to pick up some new friends, move Mikasa in... y'know. More importantly, these lovely ladies are coming to the meeting too. Wanna hook 'em up?" Though he had first asked Usagi, who seemed to be instantly preparing herself to do something, he turned to the pair of ladies afterwards to explain. At the words of her friend Mikasa only nodded. She didn't mean to keep things from them, it just wasn't the sort of information that came up easily in conversation. Moving right along, soon enough something even more amazing would be happening in front of the eyes of the friends of the Thunder Queen. And that was the entrance of the Pledge Queen of Mikasa's Generation. She was also greeted with a great deal of familiarity. "Usagi-chan!~ Long time no see. These are my friends, Satomi Sawa and Shinjinko Hanako~" she said only to have the other pink haired girl before her make two new pairs of ATs. "You two, this is Sasagawa Usagi, she's another of the people I grew up with." she mentioned, with the same amount of vigor she had in their introduction to Shoichi. Her own were presently in a bag near them, along with the other pieces that made up her body suit regalia. Mikasa only ever wore half of it and as such started walking towards it with the intention of at least slipping on her ATs for the meeting.
But before the other two girls could properly greet the Pledge Queen though they were stunned by the new ATs made for them. Sawa in particular seemed to have the most astounded reaction. "What?! How?! This is literally like top 3 most amazing things I've seen and two of them happened today. Is this just normal for the Black Order?!" she was seriously curious and the amount of things she'd seen today seemed to go well beyond her expectations of normal people. Hanako seemed to gather herself first and thanked the pink haired tuner for her help. "Arigatou Gozaimasu and to you as well Takeuchi-san~ Sawa says so too, she's just... easily excitable." she said which only caused the sporty girl to blush a little. "Gomen, but don't act like you're not amazed too~" which only made the girl with the light brown hair smile. She was in fact even more stunned than Sawa was, her speech was her way of dealing with it, which her friend had to know. "Sumimasen... Usagi-chan is the Pledge Queen, she's leagues ahead of the average tuner. I'd forgotten that you guys hadn't met anyone like her yet~" said Mikasa.

"Hajimemashite," Usagi said with a gentle bow toward the two whom she had just offered newly crafted ATs to. These two were quite obviously not familiar with the abilities of Gravity Children, as per their reaction to this low-level tuning process, but Shoichi would be the one to comment on this. "Not the Black Order. Just... our old household, and a couple of others like it," he stated to encompass all Gravity Children he knew of. While this conversation occurred, Usagi's eyes twinkled. Mikasa shifting about alerted her to the rhythm of the Thunder Regalia, which she hadn't harmonized with in quite some time. Usagi felt much like she was being reintroduced to an old friend, much like what was actually the case with Mikasa herself. "Ano... Mika-chan, your Regalia is out of date. Would you like me to do something about that?"

The two other girls put on newly offered ATs with thanks and greeting offered to the Pledge Queen. "Hai, Yoroshiku~" they both said in unison as they sat atop a couple of boxes to put on their new ATs leaving their shoes with the boxes. During this, Shoichi explained a bit about the abilities of the others and stated that it wasn't the entire Black Order who were completely and utterly monstrous in their abilities, but specifically just a group of them who'd grown up with Mikasa or grown up in groups like Mikasa's. This was a rather curious statement for both girls, but they'd be sure to remember to get the important bits of information out of Mikasa later.
Speaking of the Thunder Queen before she couple properly put on any of her Regalia, her Pledge Queen mentioned that it was out of date. She looked at the young woman and realized it had indeed been quite a while since she'd last gotten anything done to it and she as never one to turn down Usagi's tunings so she simply smiled at the other pink haired girl. "Hai!~ If you would be so kind. I actually haven't been doing much riding lately so I hadn't really thought about it." she said simply standing by the bag that contained all the pieces of pieces of her regalia and moving closer to the Pledge Queen. "So, where are we doing this?" she asked. It had been so long since she'd been tuned by Usagi she didn't know of the young woman's progress, but she was about to find out. While this happened, her two friends seemed confused as they laced up their ATs. It would be surprisingly enough Hana who commented to Sawa. "I thought, Mika didn't require tuning because she had a regalia." she said aloud, her understanding of this situation was off in more ways than one. "Don't worry I'm right there with ya'. Wasn't the whole point of those, that they didn't need tuners... she never had any sessions while we were riding together."

When asked where this tuning process would take place, Usagi smiled. She rolled toward Mikasa, converting her ATs, headset, arm bands, choker, and the device on her right forearm, into the active state of her Regalia. This occurred via a mass of mechanical butterflies merging into the pieces to create a body suit complete with wings, a skirt with thrusters, and a pair of double-layered halos upon her head. "Dynamic Synthesis: Access!" One of her Regalia's butterflies kept its original form and landed upon Mikasa's head, maximizing their connection in an instant, while making the Thunder Queen an extension of Usagi. When she reached Mikasa, she opened her arms and used her active Regalia to interface with the Thunder Regalia by tearing it apart, piece by piece. In the meantime, Shoichi found his standing place next to the Thunder Queen's friends. "A Regalia doesn't mean you don't need tuning. It just means you can't be tuned by any run-of-the-mill Link Tuner. Ya' need a Pledge Queen for a real hookup." Shoichi said these words while the pieces of the Thunder Regalia floated around the area, being combined with other pieces that had come from Usagi's room in the house. They assembled around Mikasa's body, primarily at the knee joints where the cores had been moved and redesigned. After a few moments, Mikasa would be sporting something of a white body suit with very prominent thigh-high ATs, hip attachments on either side, sleeves, and a headset with a cat ear motif. Strangely enough, the process removed Mikasa's existing gloves, sash, and hair tie. This act of tuning would end with two remaining pieces of the original cores attaching themselves to the outer sides of the woman's knees. "I rebirth the Thunder Regalia: Silver Chariot!"

"Sugei!~" was the only word spoken by Mikasa initially. Moving right along, she fully respected the changes made to the Pledge Queen's gear and her own butterfly based motif. "Usagi-chan, you like butterflies too~" she asked seeming to be amused by the fact they had something in common besides their hair color. To be fair, Usagi was by far one of the easiest girls to talk with from her generation and as such she could at least appreciate the young woman's fashion sense. Soon enough, the young woman was giving birth to her newest regalia and Mikasa was by far very impressed. "Silver Chariot? Nani!? Done already, and it's sooo awesome~" she said having a look at herself and getting a feel for this new form of her body suit regalia. She moved a bit and it caused two small creatures to emerge from the knees of her suit and fly about in the immediate area of her body. "Oh, they are things?!" she said seeming to be stunned by them. Turning around to have a look and catching sight of the last major chain. "What? Do I have a tail?" she questioned seemingly stunned.
Mikasa's friends got their own ATs on then watched the tuning process while Shoichi explained about regalia and link tuning for those who held them. "Sou desu ka." they said in unison. Sawa for all the composure she managed didn't know where to place the tuning process she'd just witnessed, and it was beginning to make her believe she'd need a completely different list for Mikasa and the people like her. "This is just amazing. Like new top 3 amazing. Does everyone else know about things like this? I feel like a tourist." she said, her constant gawking completely known to her and seemingly something she couldn't help. Still watching the Thunder Queen experience her new regalia was something that made the sporty girl happy and thus she seemed to be the most energetic.

"I love butterflies!" Usagi replied to the Thunder Queen's initial observation. "I meant to say, I love your outfit! I guess you know why now," she continued with a bashful grin. When all was done, Mikasa went about inspecting her new gear, and Usagi watched with a constant smile. "Hai. Those, and other parts on your legs are the original cores. In this state, they have a neutral charge. They'll be super cute when you activate!" With that explanation out of the way, the Pledge Queen went on to the tail Mikasa came to notice. "Headphone jack. I took it from my favorite pair. You can plug that in to listen to music through that headset if you bring it down... or use it to drain or charge anything you like. It can penetrate, too. That function reroutes into the gloves when you activate, which will be a bit different from what you're used to. To do it, start by slipping your hands into those compartments on your legs. Oh! Don't worry, by the way. I know it looks like I got rid of your accessories, but this Regalia has a chameleon circuit that includes your accessories in whatever color you want at the time~♥"
"Hai. Sou desu," Shoichi said as he crossed his arms and watched Mikasa adjust to her Regalia. "All true Kings know about this kind of stuff. I'm surprised you guys don't, hanging out with her. You guys have Roads, right?"

"Me too!~" said Mikasa without really needing to. Her love of butterflies would be knowledge to anyone with common sense and eyes. Moving right along, Usagi complimented the girl's clothing choices which made a smile come to the Thunder Queen's face. "Arigatou Gozaimasu~" she chimed. As they conversed further, Usagi explained about the new parts of the regalia she'd made for the pink haired girl. Stating that the little animal like things which had flown out of her regalia would have different forms when it was properly activated. Beyond this it seemed that there was a great deal different about the way her gear worked right now. The explanation that she had to start by slipping her hands into the compartments on her legs made her put her hands into the place, but in doing so she realized how the power shift would work with the gloves on her hands and she removed them making her clothes revert to her normal form including the hiding of the body suit itself to return to the accessories which were part of her outfit also explained by Usagi as she did her reverting. "Sou ka. That's pretty neat, and totally useful. Usagi-chan you have the best tastes!~ Forgive me I'd rather try it out officially a bit later~ It's really cool though that it blends into my clothes like this. Now I don't have to choose between riding and looking fabulous." she said remembering that they needed to get to this meeting.
While all of this happened, it seemed that Shoichi was questioning the two girls about their former riding styles, and while one had a very specific kind of style the other did not. Surprisingly enough it would be the one who didn't ride any particular way who would speak up first, and it was Hanako who had this problem. "I never really did my own specific tricks. Nor was there any thing particularly special about the way I rode ATs when I did so regularly." she mentioned. Sawa looked at the other girl and nodded. It was quite true that when they were on the team together she was pretty far behind Mikasa and even Sawa herself. Sawa thought about it for a few seconds. "I used to go pretty hard as Mika-chan's batteries. I also had a thing for wire based tricks. I used run currents through them created from my wheels and recharge Mika-chan while she moved." she explained of her own use of a road similar in principle to the Rising Road but different enough that it was likely completely her own. And completely fitting of her rather energetic and sporty personality.

Usagi was thanked for the tuning, but in response, she shook her head and smiled at the other pink-haired lass. "Iie. It's what I do for fun!" she said. Her own Regalia sealed itself now that she didn't need it anymore, and with that, she was ready to depart. Shoichi also seemed ready and willing, but he was presently occupied hearing out the young women before him about their Roads, or lack thereof in one case. "You guys went into a C-Class fight with no real Roads? Pretty much everybody I know would call that stupid... I mean... they'd be saying that because I'd be the one doing it. I got a lot of respect for you two. Wanna join my team? I'd be willing to train ya' up, even if you don't wanna join up."

Misaka seemed to be satisfied and since the Pledge Queen didn't want to be thanked she simply shrugged. Who was she to get in the way of anyone else's fun. Soon enough Mikasa would be rejoining the group, just in time to hear Shoichi's response to what was apparently a group of people entering the C-Class parts war without any real specialization to their skills. The pink haired girl wanted to cover her face and hide in a corner. "Ano, we didn't think of it like that. We just went in to have a bit of fun and try out the race type. The other team was just way more serious than we thought they'd be." said Hanako. About joining Shoichi's team she nodded seeming to have no qualms. "Well, I was going to ask to join you anyways." she said seeming to have already made her decision. Wide eyes came from Sawa who seemed to think about it a little. "Neh, I wanna see everything else first. I don't like making decisions before I'm sure." she said with a nod. Secretly though she was quite sure she wasn't going to join a team unless Mikasa did, but she also fully acknowledged that the pink haired girl was using the pair of them as a crutch and an excuse not to move on. She was wondering if there were any among these friends of hers who'd be able to convince Mikasa to join up. If they did, Sawa would happily as well.

Everything's always worth it for the fun," Shoichi asserted with a raised thumb and a stereotypically 'Shoichi' grin. As for his team, it seemed the one with the most development to go through was intending to join, while the more experienced of the two wished to see her other options. "That's fair. Neh, it worries me a bit though. We've got some really awesome people on deck. The offer stands anyway. As for you," he said while averting his gaze to Hanako. "Initiation comes later. Chiyo soon arrived home with a young teen in tow. The girl had been speaking a lot while they moved, but the fanged girl didn't seem to be bothered by this. She was actually fine with this as the little girl stared up at the building seeming in awe. "Wow! You live here? With just your friends?" she questioned knowing she'd lived alone with her elder brother for quite a while. "Yeah, a few of us live here together. A lot of my friends are grouped up like this, I am sure yours are too," she said which made the smaller girl smile. "So you really think your friend can help me?" she asked of Chiyo which made the fanged girl smile even wider. "Yeah, I'm sure... Shoichi is a lot of things, but good at AT stuff is at the top of the list," she said as they entered the large house. "Shoichi!!" she called out as she began moving around in the house towards where she thought he might be which took her through the kitchen with the small fox animal now in her hands.

Interestingly enough, the Sky King Shoichi was within the very kitchen Chiyo intended to pass through. He sat on a stool at the counter, eating from a surprisingly normal-sized goblet filled with breakfast foods. Before each stool on either side of him, there was another, similar goblet. Each one had been filled with three pancakes, vanilla ice cream, small chunks of sausage for meat, and syrup. Toppings of all sorts were upon the counter, as Shoichi had no clue what to expect from this extra guest, whom he now saw to only be a child. When he turned to view these two, he revealed the shining boot-style ATs on his feet that were the current incarnation of the Sky Regalia. Tucked into said ATs were blue jeans to join an attire that was complete with a white, v-neck shirt, and a spiked choker. "Yo! Gomen, I went minimalist today. No clue who to expect, y'know? So, what's up?"

Within the kitchen Shoichi could be found sitting on the barstool with breakfast bowls and toppings of assorted foods to go with it. A smile crossed Chiyo's face as she entered more than fully ready to have a quick meal before doing anything else. "Sugei! Minimalist or not this is fucking awesome!~" the girl chimed, before taking up a seat next to the Sky King. Jojo looked back and forth between the pair and at the food on the counter top her stomach rumbling audibly. "He made one for me too?" she questioned finding this to be the sort of niceness she'd only come to expect of her elder brother. "Ah, yeah, sorry about that, I figured it would be easier to just explain when I got here," the Storm Queen said with a chuckle to Shoichi. "Of course he did, he knew we were coming, and we can't do stuff on empty stomachs, seems like you were hungry anyways," Chiyo mentioned as she let the small fox animal go to do whatever it was he wanted, likely eating food from a bowl Chiyo had left out for him a bit earlier. "This is Kujo Jolyne, she's the Third Generation's Flame Queen," she said with a nod introducing the two people. "This is Takeuchi Shoichi, he's our Sky King," the girl went on before she took on adding a few things to her breakfast bowl. The small girl took a seat on the other side of Shoichi hopping up onto the stool and having a quick look at him. He looked a bit like he could be related to Shiori or Roze when she thought about it, and they had the same last name. "Nice to meet you, and thanks," she said.

I haven't been up against a Flame Queen in years! This'll be fun, but first, eat up!" With that said, Shoichi spun around in his stool. A single swipe of his fork allowed him to pick up all that remained in his bowl: a single pancake, which he proceeded to shove into his mouth whole. He was then ready to vacate the counter, and simply await the completion of the others' meals. "So, what's the story? What are we workin' with?"

Chiyo began eating with ease, and seeing this Jojo did the same apparently enjoying the breakfast food and ice cream sweet and savory mix which was somewhat common to the Sky King's palate. She was more than a bit surprised by the young man's reactions, "I mean, shouldn't you not be so excited..." she managed finding it strange that the Sky King of her predecessors generation was so... apparently easily amused. "You get used to it, plus you can't really talk," mentioned the Storm Queen which caused the younger girl's face to go red immediately when she thought of how excited she'd been to meet the young woman who'd brought her here. "I mean... that was different. I guess..." the young girl managed before she began to eat happily again, leaving the general explanations to Chiyo for whatever reason. "It seems her run isn't currently right for her, and learning from the original Flame King won't work out for her too well. Attitude aside, I had a look at her, and her body isn't made for that sort of run. I sorta know where she's leaning but I'd have to see her in action to be sure. I figured you'd be a better help in this regard. Besides, I can't be sure about the Road, I can only speculate based on her build, and it isn't quite done yet, she's up for a growth spurt pretty soon," she said stopping speaking to take a few bites to chew. "As for why she asked for help in the first place, she should tell you," she said with a nod. This caused Jojo's eyes to go wide. as Chiyo went silent. She looked at Shoichi slowly chewing wondering if he'd actually care about the reason why she wanted help fixing herself up in the first place. Though given he'd made her food without knowing very much about her, he had to be at least a little caring.
"I wanna join the team my friends started. They asked me when they were first setting up, but I kinda fucked it up. I don't want to hang out with anyone else, but they won't have me while they say I'm in a shittier state than I was before. But I don't know why it's shittier than it was before, so I need help. And Ichi-nii said he knew people who could help, so he called her and she said she couldn't help directly but you probably could," said the small girl. "Please, I just wanna go back to my friends." A smile spread across Chiyo's face as she heard this reason for the second time, this kid was just the kind of kid who reminded her a bit of herself and of course, of most of their friend group. With ideals like that, how could the young Storm Queen do anything but help the girl. She felt for her plight quite a bit, and knew Shoichi would understand her choice to bring this child here instead of to anyone else.

"Of course I should be excited; different Roads are awesome!" was the immediate reply falling from the Sky King's mouth. Now that he was standing, he performed a few stretches and heard out what both parties before him had to say. Chiyo came to him with the core details of this visit, but there was apparently a much more personal reason. Indeed, this was no simple desire to become better as a Storm Rider, and Jolyne herself was the one to explain this. Shoichi leaned forward to stare into this girl's face, his brows drawing together as he listened to her reasons. He felt sincere empathy for this girl's situation. She wasn't in the midst of some epic power struggle. She wanted exactly what Shoichi himself wanted, and that was to have a good time with close friends. "Hmm. Sou ka..." Strangely, Shoichi had nothing to say in response to any of this. All he did was turn away from her, and carry himself outside the kitchen... and eventually, outside the house to the courtyard.

"Ano..." Shoichi stared into Jojo's face and the small girl found herself staring back with intensity behind her convictions. She just wanted to play with her friends and to have them not be upset with her, which didn't seem like it should be so hard to achieve. Even so, Shoichi didn't say much of anything after she explained, he simply walked away, out of the house and towards the courtyard. There was a large grin on Chiyo's face as this happened and she noted the confusion which passed the small girl's face as she finished her dessert breakfast goblet. "Is it okay? I don't know what to think about that, Chi-nee..." she said which made Chiyo's brow raise, something about this younger generation calling her big sister made her feel strange. She was always the youngest among her own peers so the newfound responsibility to others was rather interesting. "Hai hai, it's fine, that's just how he is, come on then, you're about done right?" she said as the girl packed away the last of her food and both of them stood. Chiyo moved all the dishes to the sink and then headed outside with the pair of them and Jojo approached, those little wheels of hers upon reaching the ground proper began to create sparks as she leaned from left to right. "Alright, so what do I do?" she asked as Chiyo posted herself up outside and watched the ongoing things ensue. After all, she was here to observe and figure out if what she thought was wrong with this girl's body would actually lead to the sort of different Flame Road she expected.

By the time he reached the side of the pool, Shoichi stopped and turned to face the house. He awaited Jolyne, but while she was exiting the building, he looked up to view a woman with pink hair and crystal blue eyes, stood on the balcony with a smile. With a bright smile of his own, he winked at this young woman. This simple exchange told her to remain at the ready for what was to come. She wasn't entirely sure what said thing would be, but soon enough, Jolyne stood before Shoichi while questioning the agenda.
"You need to fix your run, right?" he asked in response, albeit rhetorically for the most part. There was only one thing which came to mind when he heard of this girl's desires. He scanned the area surrounding the house, planning a route for a race before those purple eyes of his gained wings and starlight in their irises. When this change occurred, he looked toward Jolyne again. "There's only one way to fix a run. We'll run an E-Class Hurdle around the property. "Onee-chan, Ohayou gozaimasu!" Chiyo said as she looked up to find their tuner on the balcony overlooking the property. Given this the Storm Queen would join her after a few well placed jumps so that she could watch the coming race. This she'd do sitting atop the rails legs crossed at the ankles, her special eye active in her face so that she could see what she needed to.
Jojo on the other hand was left with Shoichi who came up with a race course he apparently thought would be good. She knew of the different kinds of races, had been looking into them so she'd know which ones to run with her friends. Hurdles meant they could grind against stuff and take whatever course over or through obstacles to get to their destination. "YOSH! Alright!" she said getting ready, the wheels on her feet beginning to reeve creating heat and friction along them as they did. This start up had Chiyo's undivided attention as she wondered how right she was about the young girl's attitude problem affecting her run.

"Ohayou gozaimasu!" Chiyo received in response to her greeting. The Storm Queen was apparently content to join the pink-haired woman on her balcony perch. It seemed they were fated to watch an apparent race together, but the woman named Usagi had no idea why this was the case... bar a few assumptions, of course. Either way, she leaned over the balcony rail next to Chiyo and looked down at the combatants. "So who's this?"
Jolyne prepared herself for the race to come, and Shoichi observed her preparations. Her method was rather normal for what one would expect of a Flame Road rider, but he still looked at the girl curiously. Though she was indeed a rider of the Flame Road, the wings he saw in this one were very unorthodox in that they were more flexible than the norm. Either way, he supposed this did have a purpose beyond simply racing. "Alright. On your mark," he said, making no visible efforts to even prepare himself for the race. "... Go!"

Chiyo had her eyes glued to the start of this race, the girl's stance was about what she expected from a Flame Road rider, but yet, it seemed wrong. The pigtailed lass on the balcony tilted her head ever so slightly to the left as if confused by what she was witnessing even so, she answered her Pledge Queen with all due haste. "That, is Kujo Jolyne, known to her friends as Jojo. Younger sister of a certain hot first generation Flame King, and his rather muscular younger brother Gem King," mentioned Chiyo who couldn't help the small smile forming on her face. "Funny girl, bit Tsundere with a soon to be very obvious complex. Let me know if you see it too." The Storm Queen's concluded sentence would coincide with the mark of 'Go' by Shoichi as the small girl hyped herself off and took off at a fast pace.
Jojo's take off was something of a runner's start, a bit advanced for what most would expect, but she didn't falter as she took off from a nearly horizontal bend, instead she used the momentum to launch herself forward. She sparked all along the way as she used her wheels to build up immense speed, building a bit of flame in her trail. It was a highly orthodox use of the Flame Road, one which Chiyo had gotten used to seeing from the Flame King of the first generation during their time spent together, even so... something about it didn't look right. Jojo herself didn't seem to notice much of anything, she looked to her side expecting to see her opponent lest she win this thing with way more ease than she thought to expect from her predecessors. Her movements began to shift, showing the characteristic flamoyance expected of Flame Road riders, but again, to Chiyo's eyes these movements didn't seem right. Her strides were too short for her legs to complete the tricks to maximum efficiency.

"..." Usagi was lost for words for only a few moments due to a certain choice of words from Chiyo. After stifling a giggle for several seconds, she managed to find her voice again. "Chi-chan, I'm going to ignore that double entendre. I didn't think those two had a relative in the third tower, but now that you mention it, I can see a resemblance." With that said, Usagi set her gaze on the start of the race. Mere moments into Jolyne's run, the Pledge Queen's expression turned sour at a moment's notice. It was almost as if she'd been given an awful message. "She wasn't made for this," she said. Interestingly, though, she didn't seem to be talking about the girl herself.
And so, Jolyne took off. Shoichi took a moment to inspect her movements from a distance, and he was also somewhat disturbed by what he witnessed. As to not allow too much of a wait, he followed suit. The Sky King was within a meter of Jolyne's location - and holding said distance - within blinks of his initial movement. "That's not gonna work out. Ya' can't beat me by just going as fast as you can," he said nonchalantly.

"Fuck?! Really? I couldn't get more than a stifled giggle off that one? I thought it was gold," the raven haired lass mentioned, as if she'd made the double entendre on purpose. Beyond that, found herself watching Shoichi gain on her rather easily and go on to make a statement as well. His words, and the words of Usagi made a small smirk appear on Chiyo's face as she continued to watch. "Three different sets of eyes. Seeing the world three different ways..." she said of the Pledge Queen, the Sky King and herself. "But we all know it's wrong... I am guessing by your statement you mean her regalia?" she asked semi-rhetorically before giving a small explanation. "You talked about Fuckface's the same way. Ya' know when he was running around telling everyone he was the Fang King," she said of the young girl and her elder brother's similarities in this moment. Fortunately enough, she didn't think the girl was doing what she was maliciously. She wasn't lying to herself, her body didn't give off that sort of vibe. Rather she was forcing movements her body wasn't really made for, and if Chiyo was right in her conjecture, then her regalia and her road didn't align to it either. It was simply a trick of the young blonde's brain.
Jojo on the other hand was stunned. She'd gained a great deal of distance on Shoichi and looking back she'd thought maybe she had this in the bag, but by the time she blinked again he was already at her side. The girl's eyes widened and her expression was one of pure shock. "How the fuck did you catch up so fast?" the girl questioned seemingly stunned and speaking in the rather abrasive manner she'd picked up from one of her brothers. She then scoffed away her shock and frowned. "It's a race, if don't go as fast as I can, then I can't win at all," the girl mentioned seeming not to see what the young man meant by his interference. Regardless he was now at her side so she found herself performing several spins and twirls to try and gain distance on him. Her movements were fast and precise even, but with her small frame they would only take her so far.

When Chiyo replied to her halted laughter, Usagi managed a gasp. "So you did do it on purpose!" she said as if she'd cracked the case of the century. She was quick to move on from this, though, and address the matter of the Flame Queen's run. Chiyo assumed she was referring to the girl's Regalia in her previous statement, and frankly, she could not have been more correct. "Hai. Otou-san would call it... Brimstone Flint. This Flame Road isn't meant for the stressful kind of run she's going for. But... Brimstone Flint isn't angry because she's doing this."
Meanwhile, Shoichi smiled in the face of the Flame Queen. "I moved," was his only retort. He was now officially having a conversation with this girl for the first time, but for some reason, this didn't feel like the case for Shoichi. When Jolyne gave her point of view on the speed of her run, and went on to begin strides that would produce the flames of her Road, the Sky King's eyes shut. "So you think you can win, with that being the limit of your speed," he commented in a voice much less generally playful than his norm. Whether Jolyne heard this statement or not, he wasn't sure, as he began to fall behind with much swiftness. Even so, he spoke calmly under his breath. "Muda muda." Shoichi was fated to catch up to Jolyne once more. This time, he did so with large tongues of flames in his wake as he performed numerous twists, grinds, and slides in an ironically flamboyant fashion. These movements sent him beyond Jolyne's location far quicker than he'd even managed to catch up before, and what's more... his eyes were still closed. "Ikuze, Jojo. If you're going to ride like that, do it right. It's the Flame Road, after all... You have to do it with a bit of flare."

"Of course I did. Yoichi is fun and all but I don't make commentary like that without reason," said Chiyo while her eyes traced this young girl's movements. Her speed while commendable wouldn't get her very far against a rider of Shoichi's caliber and she was about to be surprised. As this happened, Usagi explained what her Regalia should be doing instead of the sort of stressful run she was trying for. A chuckle came from Chiyo as the name of this regalia as Usagi's father would have named it was given. "Sou ka, I thought... her body was strange for what she was trying... I was confused, her numbers read like Muu-nii's so I figured she was just off the creation, but I was wrong. She started off like that, and is trying to become this... no wonder her friends are cross with her. If they grew up with her, such a change is obvious and drastic," Chiyo mentioned as she worked through her thoughts, seeming to miss that she'd done something similar to her own group of friends. Though admittedly Chiyo had experienced this of not her own doing, soon enough her own eyes would widen as she saw something she didn't think she'd ever see outside of the Flame King's presence.
Shoichi had fallen behind just a bit, and then... he caught back up, this time, he was using all the flare and flamboyance Chiyo thought was missing from the small girl's movements. And his speech pattern, from what she could gather, was fairly similar to what she'd gotten from Yoichi while they trained together. 'That isn't right... that can't be right. I thought, maybe I was just wrong, but he can't actually have that extra personality can he? Why would his father have given him three personalities?' she mentally wondered. Her eyes had all but completely shifted to Shoichi as she began moving through the most likely of scenarios to explain why the Sky King could actually have three personalities. Jojo on the other hand was given a rather stark awakening. The girl came to a complete stop as she watched Shoichi's run overtake hers. Flare, didn't quite begin to cover what she was seeing. She was stunned really, because she never thought she'd see someone do what she was seeing aside from herself. "I mean, that's pretty cool I guess..." she said and she followed along. She seemed to not think too much about this shift, but she felt happy, he was a lot like her brother in this moment. She moved similar to him, but it still wasn't right, it was as if trying to imitate this run left her own out of the equation completely. And as she moved, it seemed that she was unable to keep up with Shoichi and he pulled out further in front of her.
As her attention was moved about Chiyo decided it was time for a better view. "I wonder if a little push will be enough to set her straight," Chiyo mused aloud, but in her head she was still wondering about Shoichi, because the run she was showing off, was one as familiar to this small girl as her own. "Welp, no time like the present, Ja, Onee-chan," said the small girl as dark pigtails trailed behind her and she made a rapid spinning descent. By the time her wheels hit the ground a small accumulation of ice had gathered and she used the centrifugal force to launch herself forward towards Jojo and Shoichi easily spinning herself into the girl's line of sight and finding pace with her rather easily and backward as she continued to look at the small girl with glowing purple eyes and moving tomoe within them. "I've seen enough to now what's wrong. As you are... you can't win this against Shoichi, you can't even keep up..." Jojo stared at the girl stunned, another gentle stumble happened as she missed the pacing of a twirl which had her make a single moment of eye contact with Chiyo. Doing so, would let the small girl see herself through the Storm Queen's eyes if only for a moment, not that it was likely she'd know what to do with what she was seeing. "What? That doesn't make sense..." she said, seeming rather sullen. For someone her brother wanted to help her, this girl didn't seem to have much as far as good news. Jojo felt a bit contrary for being so excited to meet her if she was going to be this way.

Much to Shoichi's expectation, he came out ahead with these simple movements against the teen Storm Rider. Even so, he was fated to stop soon after gaining this lead, as Chiyo descended from the balcony to speak with the girl. Shoichi's eyes opened then, unveiling the Over-Cross Twinkle Eye of the Brain Charger bioengineering project. "Really? I'm disappointed that you make it sound like she could have won with different moves. I must be slacking off," he said while moving closer to the pair. In the meantime, Usagi began a more gradual descent toward the ground.
The next time Shoichi's mouth opened, his words were once again his own. The cross in his eyes returned to the form of wings, as what he had in mind was too directly related to Shoichi's own vision for him to be anyone but himself while coming to the conclusion he had. "She's right, y'know? You didn't learn how to fly right. You've got wings like a crow, but you're trying to fly like a falcon. It's never gonna work."

Shoichi's words to Chiyo made her look at the young man with narrowed eyes, the tomoe of her eye twisting around within it. Her mind screamed at her while she looked at the Over-Cross in his eyes. 'Why, why three? There is no good reason!' she thought only to scoff at the man, his likeness to Kurama was almost undeniable to the Storm Queen. "Fuck! If you don't want to be disappointed then do something. It isn't just the moves I am talking about here, beating you isn't such a direct thing," she said calmly. The Storm Queen, who'd once been Fang Queen had many times before kicked the young man in his chest or overtaken him in races with the wow factor she knew this girl was capable of. Regardless, Jojo's confusion was spreading even further than the words spoken to her by Shoichi. "Wings? Crow? Falcon? What the hell does shit like that even mean?" she said the impatience of childhood still fresh in the girl's mind. "It means, your limbs are too short and forcing long legged movements is going to cause the ligaments in your knees and ankles to snap..." said Chiyo rather easily which only served to make the young girl scoff immediately. She crossed her arms over her chest and pouted. "I'll grow eventually, you'll see... and then it won't matter," she said seeming to not understand. "Of course you will, but it doesn't change the fact that moving like that and trying to force it aren't good for you physically. I should also say your body knows the way it is most comfortable already and you're avoiding it or maybe you've forgotten it, here" she said while tapping the girl's forehead with her singular pink finger nail. At which point Chiyo began to circle the girl looking at her up and down and pushing to the back of her mind the bit about Shoichi until she could properly visualize it in her head.

"... Eh?" Shoichi muttered when Chiyo explained his clause to the lass. Frankly, such things had never crossed his mind. Shoichi never bothered with the sorts of thoughts she shared, as he'd always found natural movements to be a deterrent to injuries of any sort. Of course, that simple matter could have been related to his own Road and run style, but he didn't care much for the specifications. "Yeah yeah, leg movements and stuff... whatever. Didn't think about it for a second. Look at the pretty light show!" With a quick change of topic, Shoichi clapped and interfaced with the wind, forming his Stardust to make visible the wings he saw in riders. One could note Jolyne's wings being of an elliptical variety. They were quite short, but such wings were misleading in the fact that they allowed incredible maneuverability in birds that bore them. "See? You're like a jaybird or something! Speed ain't for you. You should be movin' that ass all over the place, instead of just trying to push forward all the time."

Chiyo knew it was likely Shoichi hadn't actually considered the real applications of his knowledge. This technically didn't surprise her at all, though this still didn't stop the young woman from running her hand over her face as she suppressed a very unique desire to injure the young man before her. 'So fucking stupid, but that's just him...' she thought still not understanding how he got to this point. It seemed though, Jojo understood at least what Chiyo meant about her physical developments. To go along with this she soon got a picture of her own wings, as Shoichi clapped his hands together. "Sugoi! That's really cool!! Never seen anything like that before!" the girl said taking into account these wings. Though she didn't really understand what he meant by his commentary about her movement but the fact that speed wasn't for her, seemed to be devastating. "Why? Would he say something like that, but be so excited about it?" she said pouting as one might expect a kid to, Chiyo removed the hand from her face as she circled the girl coming to a stop before her. "I could go into everything wrong with telling a kid to shake their ass, but I am going to qualify it as Shoichi logic and let it go..." the purple eyed young woman said before averting her gaze to the young blonde girl who seemed to be in deep contemplation.
"It's gotta be tough... looking up to your big brother enough to want to be like him. Never experienced it from that side, but maybe you can get what I mean anyway," Chiyo said which made her eyes widen. "He's excited even though speed isn't for you, because what is for you, is something awesome, new, and unique..." she said to the girl whose eyes widened just a little. This other boy who spoke to her like her brother did, seemed to be just as invested in her development as her brother was. She hadn't thought about it like that before, that she could shine with even her differences. "To find it, you just gotta let go of that adoring obsession, and understand, nice as he is... you can't just be him, that'd be boring. Add your own to it and show him up. He'll be speechless~" she finished offering the girl a devious giggle. Chiyo herself had shed her brother's influence by virtue of hating him, she hadn't considered until meeting this girl that liking one's sibling too much could be just as much of a problem. In this moment, Jojo looked between Chiyo and Shoichi and seemed to understand something, though not everything. And the girl's advice had basically been to show off in a way that would surprise her elder brother. And though it wouldn't stop her from admiring Kurama, perhaps she could impress him a different way. "YOSH!, Alright, gotta go again, Sho-nii. I can do this~" the girl said seemingly happy. In this moment Chiyo rolled around behind her, checking her stance and finding it to be much more acceptable. It was lowered to the ground but it was her whole body not a runner's start, but more like the start of a dance routine slightly off set hips and shoulders her ATs appearing to be ground in. 'Sou ka, that's interesting. I wonder how that changes the fire?'

"Chill. At no point did I tell a kid to shake their ass," Shoichi replied with a hand to his chin. "I said move it. Hard to do any kind of riding if your ass is still." Regardless of how his words were taken, Shoichi's point stood. Instead of questioning him directly about his apparent excitement, the young Flame Queen referred to Chiyo, who answered in kind. During this exchange, he placed his hands on his waist and erected his posture, seeming to briefly slip away from his own mentality again. "Okay... weird. Definitely still standing right here."
Eventually, it was stated by Jolyne that she could manage after all. The stance she showcased the flapping of her wings in a way Shoichi could appreciate. This was truly something out of the ordinary, but not quite unfamiliar to the Sky King. "Sugoi! I was wrong. Your wings aren't as small as they look... They're kinda folded, like mine. That's really weird; I haven't seen many like that before," he said. At that point, Usagi finally reached the group. She approached Jolyne from the rear, crouching down to place her hands upon the girl's shoulders. When she did so, a large swarm of butterflies belonging to the Pledge Regalia enshrouded Jolyne and herself. Many of them latched onto the Flame Regalia as Usagi began her own explanation. "That is because natural Brain Chargers are hard to come by. It takes a special kind of connection to become so much like someone else while still being yourself. Brimstone Flint respects the homage to Key Mother, but she can't play her part. I can do something about that, if our new friend is willing to part with her Regalia the way it is now."

"Shoichi Logic." The Storm Queen had no problem repeating herself, as it was a statement she often made when she found something wrong in the way something was stated, but couldn't fault the meaning behind said words. Beyond this point though, Shoichi seemed to take some issue with the way Chiyo had chosen to address this girl's question, which sounded a bit like how the Flame King of the first generation generally spoke to the women in his life when he felt he was being ignored. A temporary slip on personality would follow from Chiyo as well, but only because of how she chose to answer this apparent statement. "Oh you can shut that shit right the hell down, you don't get to complain about being excluded from girl talk," Chiyo snapped. All while Jojo seemed to be trying to get ready for the next leg of their race. But before the next start or take off could occur another person joined the mix.
One Sasagawa Usagi joined this trio apparently taking it upon herself to start the mending process for the girl. Explaining that her need to be like her big brother had bonded them in a way which made her something of a brain charger, but more on a sibling bond and less on a complete memory wipe. A chuckle escaped Chiyo as she watched this girl's eyes widen as she turned to see butterflies and the movements of this new person whose hands rested on her shoulders. If Jojo had any idea of what was going on in this moment, she couldn't rightly say, but a huge grin crossed the blonde girl's face. "So, I got no idea who you are. I don't have any idea what that means, but it sounds fucking awesome so go for it!" she said seemingly excited about what was to come, and about this new person. And with that Chiyo watched with happiness in her eyes as this girl began moving closer and closer towards completion. But in this moment a very stark memory struck her, one of a tuner gone awry with multiple personalities that emerged to deal with the stress of her work. The raven haired lass had her eyes widen beyond belief as all the pieces of the puzzle finally slipped together, triggered, just a bit by the shift in Usagi's speech. 'Oh fuck, that's why it's three. The Angels are three, so three personalities if it is based on that, they made an ultimate Sky King, out of Roze, Yoichi and Shoichi... fuckin' hell someone needs to slap their dad.' Chiyo thought her astonishment and enlightenment showing in this moment across her face, as all the instances of likeness between Shoichi and his other two personalities made perfect sense. It also made sense of why she often felt strange around both Roze and Yoichi, irrespective of her own state as a Brain Charger.

Having been given clearance to progress, Usagi smiled. Her right hand left Jolyne's shoulder, finding itself gently placed against the spot on the girl's back where her heartbeat was strongest. Usagi closed her eyes once she found this, and all but one of the butterflies in the area collected on the Pledge Queen's body to form an AT suit of a strange build. The full formation of the suit boasted a pair of wings, skirt thrusters, and a pair of double-layered halos on either side of her head. The last remaining butterfly landed upon the forehead of Jolyne to form a bridge between her rhythm, and that of the Pledge Queen. "Dynamic Synthesis: Access!" she said, prompting her own heartbeat to align itself to the Flame Queen's. When this was done, the Flame Regalia upon Jolyne's feet shattered into every individual piece which made it whole. These pieces floated around the two of them as Usagi came to understand the Regalia's will. "Forge of Creation, Flame of Destruction, light the burning path to a brighter future!" As Usagi spoke, the pieces to Jolyne's Regalia shifted around, reorganizing themselves and - in some cases - being altered toward new ends. "In an inferno of power and might, a blazing new beast is now forged! Come forth!" Suddenly, all floating parts began slamming into one another to create a new form of Jolyne's Regalia. It was created in its sealed state, which boasted a heterochromic cat motif with protruding ears at the toe, and a pair of saber teeth stretching down the front edges of each front wheel. The wheels were still those belonging to any ATs using the Flame Road, implying that Jolyne would still be able to ride said Road in the conventional manner... but there was something much greater hidden within its mechanisms now. "Smolder Crux!"

The activities of the Pledge Queen of the Second Generation could not be overlooked. A wide eyed Chiyo watched from the outside perspective as Usagi activated her regalia to tune Jojo's regalia. It was a sight to be held and a huge grin crossed the Storm Queen's face as she saw it. "Fuck! Onee-chan out here showing everybody up... I'm a bit jealous," the raven haired lass' face held a bit of humor in those royal purple eyes of hers.
Jojo on the other hand had her eyes widen immensely as her regalia was stretched out before her very eyes and reconfigured without any real idea of how or why that happened. "Sugoi, grown up tuners are so cool!" Jojo said seeming to develop some sort of new infatuation with this situation and Usagi by association. It was such a strange opinion that Chiyo couldn't help but giggle as she more than well agreed. Even so Usagi's speech continued and she recreated the small girl's regalia into something much more fitting for her present run, complete with an epic speech which left the Storm Queen of the 2nd Generation speechless. The young Flame Queen was also quite speechless as the ATs on her feet came back together in a strange new way. She looked down at the cat-themed wheels she now possessed and grinned. "Nani! They're so cute... and they feel so... different?!" her last statement came out as if confused. She didn't dislike this feeling, in fact, it felt most natural and right, but it seemed that there was something more magnificent waiting for her horizon which she didn't yet know about. "Arigatou gozaimasu Nee-san," the girl said offering deference and a bow to the young pink haired woman after she turned around to face her. The added friction creating sparks which flamed to life beneath the wheels of her ATs, this made the small girl grin as her eyes returned to Shoichi. "Can we go now?!" she asked seemingly impatient which is about what Chiyo expected as she intended to keep watching this race from Usagi's side and let it continue to see what the girl's run now looked like.

"They are different," the Pledge Queen stated. In this particular case, she had not simply reorganized the Regalia in question for a more efficient run; she had overhauled it entirely. Gone were the thrusters at the heels of these ATs. Now, there were furnaces instead. Usagi was certain Jolyne would soon be finding out what she'd done to allow the Flame Queen to continue her idolization of the original Flame Road, while still growing into her own special type of Flame Queen. In fact... she basically had to be that way. "Brimstone Flint did not agree with her rider, so she could never be tuned properly. I've done what's best for rider and Regalia. The new Smolder Crux is able to continue growing on the new Flame Road, while still paying tribute to its predecessor. Arigatou, Kujo-chan," she said with a bright smile. "Smolder Crux is a Regalia like few others I've ever worked with. She will grow with your run. It was a treat to work with you two." With that said, Usagi briefly wrapped her arms around the young lass before removing herself, and taking up Chiyo's side to observe.
Shoichi had been patiently awaiting the end of Jolyne's tuning process. He wondered if the girl would intend to finish their race, and in fact, he hoped for her to have such a desire as well. In the end, he was satisfied to hear her ask if they could carry on. Seeing her so excited for a race against him, Shoichi's excitement was ignited once more as well. He flashed a toothy grin as he answered. "Osu! Let's go!" he said. In spite of Shoichi's obvious excitement, a single tear trickled from his left eye down his cheek. Strangely, though, he didn't even seem aware of it.

Jojo found herself listening to the explanation of Usagi with wide eyes. From what she understood of this woman's explanation, there was something great which had changed with her regalia, in order to make it so the girl could continue to pay homage to her brother while growing into her own person. Her road would do the same which seemed to please her quite a bit. "I mean... I didn't do anything..." the girl managed, to reply to the thanks apparently offered her by Usagi in a slightly off way from the acceptance she'd offered of her own before. "Jojo desu," she mentioned in passing her general way of passing along the fact that she thought of this woman as a friend and as such formalities between them were unnecessary.
At Shoichi's side, Jojo retook her stance and seemed to be happy to do so, her hips low and slightly off set she seemed to know exactly how it was she intended to move and what she wanted to do. One more passing glance made her see the fallen tear on Shoichi's face and she seemed confused by it. "Sho-nii you got allergies or something?" she asked seeming to not care one way or the other. "On your mark, get set.... GO!" she said seeming to figure the boy would take off in his own time regardless she did what she intended. Going off with a rotation of her hips and shifting which caused constant grinding motions. These grinds were slightly twisting with her knees bending to accommodate the friction and make up for the shorter length of her limbs, as she didn't make any complete turns or extensions, but instead twirled and shifted in a way most flamboyant directly about her hips, causing her butt to be in a state of near constant motion. 'That's the way,' Chiyo thought. Though it went without saying she also saw the tear fall from Shoichi's eye, it was the final nail in the coffin that this boy was also the Brain Charger of one Kujo Yoichi. 'What a shitty thing to do to your own kid,' she thought but aloud she decided to comment on Jojo. "Sou ka, I know what she is now..." she said watching the girl's modified movements as she built speed and caused a flurry of flames and embers as she moved. "Kenshiko." she said using the obscure and older term for a Saber-toothed Tiger. "A predator among prey animals, the Saber-Toothed Tiger. Obvious long teeth, but that isn't really the problem," Chiyo mentioned only to go on to explain how this related to the way the girl ran. "You spend all your time worrying about the flames, you don't see the thing behind them that strengthens them..." she commented understanding why the girl had read a bit like Mukuro as she watched the grinding dance which was her present run. "She's gonna be fuckin' dangerous one day, nice job Onee-chan!~" Chiyo commented as she watched this race.

Following Usagi's thanks, there was a correction to her words. This girl was accepting of Usagi enough to offer her nickname, which Usagi had virtually no choice to accept."... Hai. Jojo." Usagi had always been a very kind and accepting person. She was quite willing to befriend this girl, even though their interaction was limited to only a tuning session. Of course, said session involved Usagi becoming temporarily bonded to Jolyne's rhythm, and basically becoming her for a moment, but that was another matter to the Pledge Queen.
Jolyne was the first to take off again, and that was fine with Shoichi. This time, he was occupied by his own confusion from her question. "Oro?" he muttered. A moment later, he felt the tear on his face, and reached up to touch his cheek. Looking at his dampened fingers only made the Sky King more confused. "Huh. Never randomly sprung a leak before. Whatever," he said, thinking nothing of it in his own mind. He took off after the girl, slipping his hands into his pockets while on a rather straightforward path with his body leaned forward slightly. "Just gonna take the first move for yourself this time, huh? Strong move, but how about showing me what's different besides a little swaying?" he asked, even knowing what was different already. Having the foresight of someone's Road was one thing, but... seeing it with his own eyes was what Shoichi was after.

A large grin was on Chiyo's face as she watched the start-up of this girl's run. She understood principally that it would be a bit of a wait for whatever was new, but... she thought it'd be worth it. Beyond that, Usagi seemed to accept the girl's friendship without any problem and Chiyo also enjoyed that as she did most things concerning her friends. Jojo for her part, seemed to be having quite a good time in front of Shoichi having taken off at rapid pace her twists and twirls kicking up sparks and dragging along as she heated up her regalia. She smirked at Shoichi as she allowed a more complete turn as she ground herself against the outside fence only to spin once more releasing heat and flames as she did so, obviously in honor of her big brother and the run he perfected.
"You gotta be patient. I've been trying to activate my regalia for a minute and it won't let me!" the girl said, but her words weren't of frustration though they came out angry and accompanied by narrowed eyes. No, she was quite happy as she showed off a bit more. Each movement seemed to be drawing the fangs on the front of her wheels further and further down, causing more sparking and more heat. Her regalia seemed to have a slower release than she was used to, but one final grind seemed to bring about the massive flames which built heat within the furnaces of their mechanisms. Doing so caused a great deal of heat to swirl about as they opened up around them. "YOSH!" she spun around and through the flames kicked up small burning sparks alight with heat which was part of their core. Whatever they landed on seemed to kindle rather easily, grass, the fence, even the air around the girl seemed to burn up by use of this. She crossed in front of Shoichi spinning in this moment, and if one happened to look hard enough they'd see it, the flaming long tooth tiger kitten with the burning eye which had become her shadow. She'd arrived, properly at her newest trick.

"Gomen. I've never really been a patient guy, but I'm pumped, is all!" True enough, Shoichi's lack of patience was typically linked directly to his excitement. This situation was no exception. Even now, he could see the production of sparks in Jolyne's run, and it was apparent where her Road was headed throughout this chain of twists and twirls. Her Regalia activated over time, and its ability seemed to stem from the saber teeth on her front wheels. It was interesting to see that she still retained the ability to use the previous form of the Road. "Osu! That's the way to ride, Jojo!" he said, completely ignoring the fact that the area around his house was being set ablaze by these actions. Shoichi himself started weaving to and fro, avoiding flames as he closed the distance between himself and the blonde girl. "Feels good, doesn't it? It looks like it should!" His stride soon carried him to the side of the Flame Queen. He seemed to have no problems at all doing this, but his attention was more focused on the shadow looming over Jolyne than the girl herself. "That's pretty intimidating. You're gonna go far with whatever team you were trying to join. If that doesn't work out for you, though, have an open invite from me."

Shoichi admitted to being pumped by the idea of what Jojo could do. She was also pretty excited, so when her flames and embers kicked up to massive proportions she could do nothing but smile brightly. She continued to ride much to the encouragement of the Sky King and she fist pumped while turning. "YOSH! It feels awesome, and like... perfect," the girl exclaimed excitedly as more flames and fire spread around. She turned to look at the man who'd already caught up, and he reminded her distinctly of her elder brother in this moment. He even went so far as to comment on the nature of her Shadow and claim it was intimidating and that she could have a spot on his team if whoever she was looking for happened to turn her down. "Arigatou Sho-nii, but... I don't think they get the option to not have me this time around~" she said. She was in this to be with her friends, she simply had to show them how much she wanted this and everything would be fine, at least this was so in the mind of the girl.
Meanwhile, Chiyo watched as the fires burned and shifted her body slightly, the wheels of her ATs turning against the ground rapid in the immediate vicinity of their house, so as to avoid the building itself catching fire. This was achieved through subarctic temperatures stifling oxygen and thus keeping the embers from igniting. A chuckle escaped the young woman as she too viewed the tiger which was the girl's shadow. "Sugoi! I was right. What a fun kid~" she said happily. She did always enjoy when the really young ended up interesting. In this way she felt that she had helped set this girl on her way, though she was quite happy that Shoichi had been part of this, it'd helped the process along tremendously. While she thought this her expression softened. Jojo having finished her statement to the Sky King took off once more, the turn of her body allowing more of these embers to flutter up before the man only to be lit into a wall of flames right before him as she aimed to pull out ahead in their race, the explosive blast she anticipated being enough to knock him back and take the lead to finish her lap ahead of him.

Jolyne's response to the Sky King's offer warranted a grin. The fact that she was so adamant about joining a very specific team was something he thought would bode well for her in the immediate future. "Atta girl," he replied. Like this, Jolyne was alright. He only wished to see her resolve to claim victory at this point, and she surely showed him this with a testament to her ability as Flame Queen. Embers created by the girl's Regalia ignited to form a wall intended to block Shoichi's path. The blast alone was intense enough to slow his progress, but the grin never left the Sky King's face. He had to react quickly, as to not travel through unfiltered fire, but he'd already limited his options by having his hands in his pockets. Then again, Shoichi was nothing, if not resourceful. He continued forward while looking at the flame wall, and jumped upward. This simple hop spun him around 180 degrees as his center of gravity moved to his upper torso, allowing him to rotate from there and flip over the fires before landing upright. Because of the method used for this rotation, he just narrowly cleared the fire; a few stray strands of hair escaped singing by mere millimeters. Such was a basic principle of his original Road being applied for the first time in ages, but that was the fun in facing new challenges. The smile on the young man's face could not have been any wider. "Osu! I'm gonna be rocking a Glasgow if ya' keep this up!" he shouted. Shoichi was not to be counted out of this race; he was now making headway once more toward the Flame Queen, whom he fully intended to bypass again if nothing was done to stop him.

Jojo had made a great deal of headway in this race, but she still wished to win. Chiyo said previously she couldn't win the way she was, but she was quite sure with the way she was feeling right now it was all possible. So she kept on moving glancing back only to see how the Sky King managed to deal with her supposed wall of flames doing some very strange things. "Sugoi!" she muttered but she kept going, lest he be able to catch up, though she figured he would. There was nothing she could about him directly so she kept up her grinds and turns leaving a massive amount of sparks and embers in in way, by the time he would have caught up with her, another flame wall was exploding to his left, but this one was different. It shot off a mass of embers which she intended to have float close to the young man landing on his gear, though seemingly not very hot, and at the last possible second when he caught up to her, she'd ignite it again. This time aiming to blast directly his person and his gear, her intention to give herself the last bit of break she needed since she knew it was almost impossible to directly out speed this young man.
Chiyo watched all of this as she protected their house with a smile. "Fuck, kid shit got me riled up. Now I'm jealous I don't get to go," she said a pout coming to her face. It was always the case that Chiyo liked to be involved with things like what she was witnessing right now. Even so, beyond her direct line of sight, up in the sky atop a seemingly invisible platform a red haired young woman was watching all that took place. And she found herself in awe of this entire situation. 'What a strange group of kids.' she thought absently. Her black leather covered self wearing not ATs but a simple pair of boots with a falcon flying over head of her seeming to carry that which she'd so recently discarded.

Shoichi eventually caught and passed the Flame Queen, though he did not do so alone. He was accompanied on his path by the embers produced by Jolyne's Regalia. The ignition of these embers was a very dangerous thing to deal with, but Shoichi wasn't worried about it at all. While normal ATs - and even Regalia - may have been greatly affected by this maneuver, Shoichi bore the Sky Regalia, which was indestructible against virtually anything on the planet. Only another great Regalia could hope to have an impact against his ATs. He passed Jolyne with a smile as nothing at all happened due to the burning embers upon his ATs. "Oi, save that for the enemies. That's a pretty rude thing to do to a guy in a friendly race, isn't it?"

Jojo was more than a little stunned by the fact that the man seemed all but unaffected by her most recent trick usage. To be fair, she hadn't actually tried anything like that before, but figured it would lead to something more than that. "Save it for the enemies, says the guy who just flipped over a literal firewall, without having to stop. Sorry for being right about you totally having that covered and not even slowing down," a scoff was to follow this young girl's statement as she didn't quite know how to deal with the man she was presently racing against. He didn't seem affected by much of anything but that being said there had to be some way to properly get ahead of him. She decided in this moment to take a step backward in the style of her run, still grinding and twisting but in this case creating a straight flow of fire as she moved fast enough to break the sound barrier. In doing so she'd use the heat affecting the air to take off, aiming to launch herself over the Sky King's head with her knees tucked into her chest and flames over his head, only to land on the ground with the additional speed to spin her wheels and keep going as soon as she made foot fall again. Her movements would leave a wall of fire in her wake behind Shoichi and kick up directly in front of him a pile of embers set to immediately catch fire. By her own approximation it should be close enough for him to have to do more than simply out maneuver it and thus give her a bit of time to get some distance between them.

"Well, yeah, but I didn't know my ATs would be alright after they got hit by that flare," Shoichi said as nonchalantly as he said pretty much anything else. His words were truth. Even though the Sky Regalia offered his ATs an immunity to such damages, he had simply been going forward with the intention of finishing this race with or without ATs; that was simply the type of Storm Rider he'd always been. His own abilities would once again have to come into play against the Flame Queen, and it would be none too soon. Her flip over him had left him with a wall of flames at his rear, but the actual problem was the flurry of embers left in front of him when she landed. These embers evolved into flames very quickly, leaving Shoichi yet again in a strange predicament, as his hands were still shoved into his pockets. "Shit!" he said, knowing he didn't have time to react by freeing his hands, unless he intended to stop moving. Of course, pausing was never his intention; he'd even become adjusted to not doing so after a month of training in run fluidity. So... he improvised...
Shoichi's lips pursed as if he intended to whistle, but he rolled his tongue while blowing air from his mouth. Doing so allowed him to create a thin stream of wind to split the flames and allow him passage while his hands emerged from their respective pockets. Once his hands were free, Shoichi spun around and gathered the wind around both walls of fire, redirecting it to create one great guard rail on the outside of the course Jolyne and himself were on. The end of this maneuver saw Shoichi riding this accelerating wall of burning winds sideways, zipping past the Flame Queen once more. "Sugei! I didn't think that would actually work out this time!"

A scoff escaped from the young Flame Queen. Regardless of what she thought she was going to be able to do, it seemed that Shoichi had other plans. He seemed to spit out air which parted the flame wall she created, and went on to move it completely around the pair of opponents, going on to ride it along and pass her once more. "WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL!?" the young girl said. She seemed to find something about this man to be uniquely unfair, but also rather interesting and cool. Regardless she didn't have much left to show off in this moment, the only thing she had left was her infinity atmosphere and considering where she was it would be rather easy to start up. "You're not leaving me many choices, Sho-nii..." the girl said knowing she was about to do some massive destruction. But... it wasn't to be.
The red haired woman who'd been content to watch this match before had now seen something worth stopping for. The original reason she'd wanted nothing to do with this young man is because he'd already developed in a way similar to her, so she had nothing to show him. But... what she saw now was a level of improvisation which bordered upon Aomine levels, and beyond that she'd seen a use of wind which didn't come from his hands or body. She couldn't simply let this continue without getting more information and as such she pushed herself from her perch in the sky and did a nose dive which would land her on her feet directly in front of the boy with a hand on her hip and a known bit of sourness to her expression. "No, no, what the fuck was that? This doesn't just get to go on like that didn't happen!" she said seemingly upset and bringing the entire race to a halt as a matter of her own curiosity.

When Shoichi passed Jolyne and took in her reaction to his efforts, he wore a massive grin. He had nothing but confidence in his ability to win this race, but winning wasn't the primary purpose of this race; the most important thing was to see what Jolyne had to offer. It seemed she was prepared to show up to this race in her best form at last, as prompted by Shoichi's most recent maneuver, but he would not be permitted to see exactly what the girl had in store for him. Shoichi's most direct predecessor from the first Trophaeum Tower had been in the sky above all along, and she chose this time to descend in front of the young Sky King. His path along the flame wall allowed him to pass over her, but by hopping off his speedy travel method, he landed beside the red-haired woman instead of continuing onward. "Chikushou! I was about to see something awesome!" he griped. His excitement had almost reached critical levels in seeing this new form of the Flame Road for himself, but having it interrupted even for a moment was already putting a damper on his happiness. "So what's up? What are you even talking about?"

Jojo came to a skidding halt, kicking up a great number of embers which fizzled out as they landed on the ground around these sets of individuals. The young blonde girl grinned happily as it seemed that Shoichi was upset that they'd been interrupted, it gave her a slight boost in her confidence at the moment, even knowing that the Sky King seemed to simply be an excitable individual. "I mean, I'm happy you were excited, but... you probably wouldn't have been if I'd actually done what I was thinking about..." the young girl said managing to look just a little bit sheepish. It likely would have burned down the house, or sank it into a lava pit.
Regardless of this fact, Suzume was now standing directly beside the Sky King due to his own mechanization. She found herself scoffing because it was unfathomable to her that this young man didn't know what she was asking about. "How? Seriously, how did you split those flames without your hands?" she asked seeming to have some great amount of problem with what she'd seen. "I was content just to see this out, because I could have flipped over the flame wall, but... really, what the hell?" she asked Chiyo found herself rolling up to the trio as well. "Actually, I was sort of wondering the same thing..." she mentioned.

"Huh?" Shoichi said in a very exaggerated manner, even going so far as to lean forward and look Jolyne in the eye. "Fuck all that! If it's awesome, I wanna see it!" True enough, Shoichi hardly cared for what happened to the surrounding area - even the house. After all, he'd been left without one for a very long time until recently, due to another battle he'd been involved in.
Speaking of involvement, it soon became obvious that Suzume had not descended for the sake of having a race of her own. Instead, she came wishing to know how he'd managed to clear the flame wall without the use of his hands to move the wind. Chiyo approached, followed by Usagi, and both also expressed curiosity. "Hai. I couldn't see anything past the wall behind you," the Pledge Queen added. Hearing all of these questions, Shoichi raised his head and placed a hand upon his chin. "Oh... yeah, that. I used my mouth. My tongue game is legendary, y'know?" he said, prompting an immediate reaction from the Link Tuner of the bunch, involving her face reddening while she looked away in a hurry.

"YOSH! Next time!" she said seemingly fine with the idea that he was fine with his house potentially being destroyed for the sake of seeing something new. Beyond this there was extreme curiosity expressed by all present about how the young man had cleared the flame wall he'd come to find directly in front of him. Of course as he went on to answer, the face of the Pledge Queen reddened immediately and she went on to avoid making eye contact. Suzume's own eyes widened in shock and disbelief, at the nonchalance at which such a statement was spoken. To her credit Chiyo had the straightest of the faces present. Not a single movement of anything in her visage shifted, whether this was because she couldn't argue with statement or not would be left to the interpretation of all present. But the last voice to speak, would be that of Jojo, who just managed to seem really confused.
"What? Why did everyone go quiet? Why is her face red? What does that even mean?" The confusion in the young girl's face made Chiyo's eyes widen and shift down to her side. "Fuck! Ya' know what... How about I walk ya' home? We can go for ice cream at this spot I like in Downtown Tokyo on the way..." she said which seemed to make the girl happy beyond reason. "I know that place, it's awesome, Ichi-nii took me there a while ago! Later guys!" the girl said as Chiyo breathed a sigh of relief, finding it amazing how easy it was to distract children. "I'll be back later, Ja... minna." And just like that Jojo and Chiyo were headed off to Tokyo to drop the girl off at home and see to it that she didn't get into any trouble. Suzume managed to recover a few moments later though she'd also immediately forgotten there was a kid present. "Okay, that caught me off guard, that's some on the fly thinking... is that what you were up to, hanging out with our Delinquent? Figuring out how to do shit like that?"

The shock of all present did not bother Shoichi at all; he was quite used to such things by now. The end result of all the surprise going on, though, was an offer by Chiyo to escort Jolyne out of the area. With that being accepted, Shoichi offered a wave to the departing lasses. "Hai hai. Catch ya' next time, Jojo," he said. In the very next moment, he found himself wondering when - and why - he'd started referring to the young teen by such a name. It felt natural, so he hadn't questioned it before, but he now had time to think about it. Of course, Shoichi wasn't offered much time. Suzume continued to question him, asking this time if his training with the first generation's Water Queen was what allowed him to develop such resourcefulness. He took a moment to consider the truth, or lack thereof, to this assumption. "Err... no, not really. I got better at doing stuff without stopping, but I've pretty much always been like this." When this was said, Usagi regained her composure well enough to reenter the conversation after clearing her throat. "He's right. Sho-kun has been through many tuning sessions because of sudden changes to his Road, until the Sky Regalia."

A nod of the young girl's head would accompany her leave as Chiyo rolled along beside her happy to hear out whatever she had to say as long as the most recent words out of Shoichi's mouth weren't the topic of conversation. As they moved along it seemed the group at large was able to move on in conversation and Suzume stood with her arms crossed under her chest as she heard out what Shoichi had to say. His statements that he'd pretty much always been this way, aside from learning how to do things without stopping from Jinx made her left brow raise. Even so, Usagi soon piped in to contribute to the honesty of the young man's statement. "Uh-huh... that's perfectly reasonable," said the Storm Queen. "So your road randomly changes, and you just roll with it right into the next thing?" she asked as if skeptical. 'I didn't drink enough for this...' the redhead thought as she rubbed the back of her neck. "Was I right to assume you had vacuums too?"

Shoichi wasn't quite sure why this line of questions was coming from the Storm Queen, but he was happy to answer any she had for him, for whatever reason. Her next query was one only seeking confirmation about the nature of his Road. Technically speaking, Shoichi's Road had alternated between numerous variants of wind-type Roads over the years. This was simply due to the Road he was born with, or rather, the original variant passed down to him by his mother. "Well, yeah. Wing Road and all, y'know? As long as my wings are set up for it, I can fly on whatever kind of wind I want," he clarified. Such was simply the difference between the Road of Wings, and the simple Roads of specific Winds. Eventually, Shoichi was standing with his hands resting upon his hips. This was how he chose to remain while answering Suzume's question regarding his ability to use vacuums. "Hmm, yeah. I started trying those out during the training. I'm pretty good at them now, but I had a couple of hiccups before. I... sorta kinda went inside them myself to give me a crazy speed boost, but I didn't really think it through. Jinx had to blow up my legs to stop me from totally wrecking myself."

Shoichi seemed apt to answer Suzume's questions. She made the assumption that this was at least in part due to the other personalities he possessed as both of those individuals would in general answer her questions, though obviously one more than another. His explanation that he was capable of doing anything with the wind that his wings allowed made her left brow raise slightly. "As long as your wings, are set up for it huh? Bird references..." she said seeming to think about it more. She supposed what she'd seen of this young man's run led her to believe that it was indeed just a very open ended interpretation of the sort of road she had herself.
He went on to explain that he'd been using vacuums for a while but had a couple of problems with them, one of which was him moving through them and causing himself enough problems that Jinx felt the need to stop him. "Sou ka, that's what she meant..." she said thinking about Jinx's explanation of what the young Sky King was actually like. She supposed if he was stupid enough to do that to himself he likely wouldn't hurt anyone else on purpose. Even so, she had to be completely sure, it was also interesting to note that the Water Queen used the body exploding trick on this young man with no lasting affects on his person. "She used that trick on you? I watched her do that to a dude earlier and I thought someone was gonna die, fucking wishy washy bitch," she mentioned only to think about it more and double back. "Wait a minute, you jumped through a vacuum, are you fucking stupid?" she asked genuinely concerned, an amount of concern which would likely seem a bit unwarranted given she barely knew this young man.

"Eto... I wouldn't really call it a bird reference. Everybody has wings," Shoichi said as a matter of fact from his own perspective. Any and everyone who moved with or against the wind had a pair of wings in various shapes and sizes, and Shoichi could see those wings. It was this simple matter that made him regret using the vacuums in the way he did during training, as doing so essentially stripped him of his wings for the duration of the stay in each vacuum. His only justification was that perhaps he would have no choice at some point in the future; it was best for him to at least have an alternative in his repertoire. "Yeah, I was pretty fucked up for a little while, but it's really not as bad as it sounds. Maybe it's because I was so pumped," he mused. With that matter addressed, he moved on to the topic of his vacuum usage. "I jumped through a couple of vacuums. Well... I think I had over a dozen, and I kept hopping from one to another. I know it was pretty stupid, but I was in the Zone back then... I just wanted to keep the fight going."

Suzume managed to look confused, but she didn't believe she was alone in this confusion. She figured this was some obscure reference of the Second Generation, she couldn't help but look at him with both of her brows drawn together. "Is this one of those things I want to question?" she asked herself and the world at large. Shoichi went on to explain the situation which ended him on the receiving end of one of Jinx's more deadly tricks. And his explanations made this woman's eyes widen just a little. 'Okay, gets in a fight with someone he thinks is interesting, fucks himself up trying to keep it going... this is seeming less and less like a problem the more I hear...' she thought quite consciously. When this was added to what she'd seen as far as his race with the young Kujo Jolyne was concerned she could honestly say that even people presently less skilled than him weren't in much danger from the young man, nothing he'd done, despite the level of outrage she'd suffered at seeing it, was dangerous to the young girl he'd been facing. "Yeah it was pretty fucking stupid..." was all she said, though she couldn't really fault the young man for having fun.

Once again, Suzume questioned the Sky King, this time on whether she should be questioning him or not. With lifted brows, he blinked away a brief moment of thoughtlessness to retort. "Nope. You must not have been here for that long. Here," he said, casually clapping his hands to form a mass of Stardust and showcase the wings he could see, as he had done for numerous others by now. This action tended to rather easily explain his mentions of wings to whatever person wished to understand. As for the idiocy of his vacuum use, he could do nothing but agree, though everything had occurred for the better. "It was, yeah. Buuut... If I need to do it again in the future, I know how much I can handle. Stuff I do usually works out that way," he summarized, prompting a hesitant nod from the pink-haired young woman.

Suzume thought about when she'd arrived and she'd done so a bit later for a very specific reason. "Yeah, I decided it would be best to just wait a bit. Lest someone think I was just being crazy and following her," she said as she waved it off. The clap of Shoichi's hands had taken place while she said this only to be further shocked by looking behind herself to see a large pair of feathered wings. She'd never seen anything like this before but it put some perspective on what the boy could see. "You know this isn't some normal shit to just do, right? This is like some random weird shit to spring on people..." she mentioned seeming to find it more than a little strange. Even so, it was a weird perspective to have, and it made her wonder if this was how he managed to see how people's roads turned out, and as such why he seemed to not be bothered by the status of the people around them. It seemed to be that such a thing kept him knowing when new stuff was coming. As he went on to explain, what was going on with his vacuum usage he explained that he learned his limits by messing himself up and would use it for future reference if he ever needed to.
This was kind of an outlandish thought but his tuner confirmed his ability to do this. "And ya'll just let him do this? Jeez," she said this but thought that in this moment the young man before her reminded her of his sister. 'I can't believe we managed to be worried about this... there isn't a malignant bone in this boy's body. Pretty much, a stupid 'accidental' pervert who happens to see the wind in a special way... and use his own stupid to his advantage. Who sees the fun of running around and destroying shit so long as there is something new to be seen in the process. He happens, to occasionally behave like Aomine, but, seems to be a bit more like a balanced Roze and Kurama,' she thought this entire thing through in her head with a look on her face that oozed a bit of malice. This was because Jinx and Kurama had been right by her approximation. But there was one more thing she had to question. "So what happens when you change it up so much no one can keep up with you, what do you do then?" This last question would tell her all she needed to know about the young man.

"It's normal to me. Seeing wings is what my freaky eye thing does. I go from seeing displacements in the wind, to seeing the stuff causing the displacements. That's how I got my Stardust Road." Shoichi's explanations were spoken in a very direct manner, reeking of all his simplicity. To him, the sight of wings was as normal as the ability to "fly" using ATs. It may not have been something every Storm Rider was capable of, but they were all Gravity Children anyway, so he figured nothing of that caliber could possibly be too far out of the ordinary. In fact, that was how he thought about most things that probably made less sense outside of his own head.
Usagi giggled into her hand when Suzume reacted to Shoichi again. "Sho-kun is Sho-kun," she said for the first time in ages, though it was once a sentence the second generation Pledge Queen had to say every day, sometimes even to the same person/people she'd previously said it to. As if to quantify Usagi's statement within a matter of moments of her speaking, Shoichi reacted to another question of the Storm Queen's, using of course the same simplistic state of mind he'd held on to all this time. "If I change it up and someone can't keep pace... I win, right? That's how that works." This was said with much confusion. It may not have been the truest answer he could have given; in actuality, Shoichi only thought of the question in terms of a race. If Suzume did not mean for it to be taken this way, Shoichi obviously did not get the memo.

Suzume soon received a full very simplistic explanation of this young man's developed eye capabilities as well as how normal he apparently thought his abilities were. It made her realize that Shoichi might actually be a bit stupid as it was more than clear that he didn't really think too much about anything while apparently being more than skilled at everything. His tuner even clarified the statements a bit, stating that this young man was simply himself, which hinted at the likelihood of his entire generation just accepting this kind of simplicity from the person who was basically their elected leader. "Fucking great, and you guys follow..." she gave an exasperated wave. "This?"
If she was concerned about their following of this boy for his simplicity, she was about to be given more of a reason to be wary of this lad's behavior than what she was when she was talking herself out of it a few moments prior. His very simple explanation was one which caused the Storm Queen's eyes to narrow immediately as she looked over this young man. She'd never had such a problem reading anyone before, and it was staring to become a bit annoying. In fact the last person she'd misjudged in any way was at this very moment a problem for everyone so she wouldn't be taking this very lightly. 'I don't know if this boy is some kind of criminal mastermind or just really fucking stupid,' she thought. But in this moment she was rather quiet, he could have just been talking about races. And part of her really just wanted to believe this and let it go, but doing so could reign down terror and destruction on everyone. And it would be a shame to get rid of one problem just to have another develop. "Right, you win. Given how this kinda shit goes, you'll always win," she said a sigh to ensue, this conversation was giving her a bit of anxiety. She paused and closed her eyes trying to gather her thoughts, and came to a simple question but she wondered if it would get lost in translation. "Then what?"

Shoichi was beginning to wonder if he'd signed up for some sort of interview without knowing, as the questions simply kept coming his way. Whatever the case, he would continue answering until he managed to sate whatever random curiosities the Storm Queen approached him with. One could only think to question why she needed so many small amounts of information, though. She already knew what he would do if he managed to overcome someone with his developments, but she now wanted to know what would come afterwards. In response to this, Shoichi could only think of one thing... the same thing he'd considered in every Parts War he participated in during the last tournament. "Then... I keep winning, until I lose. If I do lose, I get back up and win again. That's the only way to keep the fun going."

Suzume found herself staring at this young man as if in awe a few seconds later and the sighed and waved it off. His statements were obviously very connected to racing, but if his philosophy about life was also the same then there wasn't as much to worry about as she was initially thinking. Still it was more than a bit bothersome that this Sky King didn't seem to think very much past his own directness, but hopefully the others in his generation could make up for this particular shortcoming. "I guess there are worse answers..." said the Storm Queen, though she didn't seem totally dissatisfied. In fact a small smile crept onto her face, she realized she'd basically been interrogating this young man so she supposed it was time for something a bit closer to fairness... "Ya' know, that fire wind thing, will probably be pretty useful to you later. Just... don't let winning or losing get in the way of your fun," mentioned the Storm Queen. She seemed satisfied enough and had apparently no intention of explaining why such a thing was necessary nor why he might find it useful. And just like she'd appeared, she left jumping upwards interfacing with the wind so she could move about well above ground level.
