Both his armor and his long flowing sash have a decided mainland influence, as opposed to the customary armor and obi. His kimono is mostly white with a red and white cherry blossom flower crest at the collar and sleeves, showing that he is of royal birth. He wears sashinuki hakama which are gathered at the ankles, producing a "ballooning" effect. His footwear consists of black ankle-high boots, also reminiscent of mainland influence. On his right shoulder is his "mokomoko-sama" (as named by his son, Hakudoshi), the fur of his clan branch which signifies his status among the Oborozuki's Blood Moon clan.

Flying Thunder God Kunai (飛雷神クナイ, Hiraishin Kunai) are custom-made kunai (特注クナイ, tokuchū kunai) and are used in conjunction with the Space–Time Ninjutsu: the Flying Thunder God Technique. They differ from a standard kunai in that they have three blades instead of one and the handle (which is thicker than normal) serves as the "marker" for the teleportation ability. Youko has also said that these blades are bit heavier than a normal kunai. Their prongs also makes them more deadly in melee fighting.

Tenseiga (天生牙, "Heavenly Rebirth Fang") - A sword with a special property in it that it could not harm or kill any living beings. Instead, its power lies in the fact that it could resurrect the dead and heal the wounded by cutting through the Pure Land (http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Pure_Land).

Resurrection: The Tenseiga could restore the life of the recently deceased by destroying the soul's link to the Shinigami of the Pure Land, allowing the soul to return to its mortal vessel. However, it required a relatively-intact body to work and only worked once as not to grant eternal life. If done to a dismembered body part, it will restore the body part to how it was when alive, but it will die again shortly afterwards. Although the Tenseiga could not harm what belongs to the Living World, its healing powers allowed it to slay the undead and spirits such Shinigami.
Protective Barrier: The Tenseiga has the ability to erect a protective barrier around its master if his life is in danger and transport him across vast distances to safety.
Bakusaiga (爆砕牙, "Explosive Crushing Fang") - Bakusaiga takes on the form of a katana with a unique design. The backside of its blade features various rune-like lines running along it with a beige hilt featuring the same design. When unleashing its power, Bakusaiga's blade glows a vivid emerald-green.

Decomposition: Bakusaiga's primary ability is to decompose any organic material that its blade cuts. Once cut, the target becomes "infected" with spontaneous destruction that disintegrates the main body and nullifies any regenerative properties that the target may have. In addition, the remaining destruction will continue to spread to any organic matter that comes into physical contact with the original target, and is similar to a virus.
Yōki Wave: In addition to its decomposition ability, the Bakusaiga can also fire off explosive blasts of green-colored chakra that are capable of destroying multitudinous weaker entities with ease. Given that this blast was shown destroying the 1000's of reanimated shinobi that were summoned by Uchiha Yuichi in a single swing, implies that the Bakusaiga is easily the most destructive weapon ever created by Youko.
