In previous decades, when demigods first reached such a capacity in the mortal realm that they could make a society of their own, a select few gods gifted them with a camp in which they could socialize with other demigods while learning to control and utilize the powers they inherited from their deity parents. Eventually, the demigods staged an uprising, believing themselves to be deserving of a place in Olympus itself due to their vast superiority to mere mortals. This is the end result of that uprising: New Olympus. This haven for demigods is positioned at the foot of Mount Olympus itself, where demigods may be separated from mortals while being close enough to the gods to be sheltered and monitored, yet far away enough that they may not reach the gods themselves.

In New Olympus, there are residential sanctuaries dedicated to the children of each Olympian (based on the status and preferences of their parentage), as well as various facilities to form a true and proper societal structure for its demigod residents. Some deities may even choose to visit New Olympus, and there are frequent representatives of the gods traveling to and from this location to care for New Olympians, as well as to bring them to New Olympus from the mortal realm.

A young woman with black hair basically dressed in leather and rags was lightly moving through the entirety of New Olympus. She'd stopped at her actual house the previous night throwing a party for the newest group of incomers to this area. This was something she did all the time, but as her silver eyes noted the position of the sun after she woke, she knew it was time for her to return to the wilds and back to the other thing she liked most. The two sides of her life, the part that enjoyed partying and the company of others, and the part which was a solitary hunter were completely separate as far as she was concerned. And with her current attire and present feelings, she was more than willing to disappear back into the wilderness for a few days until the aftereffects of her party calmed down. 'Wooh, that was fun and all, but... I miss the pups... and the Wilds...' the girl thought her mind set on slipping out of the residential area which housed most of the Demigods who lived presently. "Oi! I don't know where you're sneaking off to, but you could at least top me off before ya' go!" came the words of one of the more apt to party individuals. The silver eyed girl paused looking back to a young woman holding out a chalice which seemed to make her chuckle. 'A drink this early, a girl after my own heart~' she thought of this particular person. This little burst of happiness would cause the other young woman to smile as well. "Alright alright, just keep your voice down," the girl said as she reached out for the cup, and when her hand touched it, it seemed to fill from the bottom with a tasty golden liquor. "Enjoy it, yeah. I won't be back for a while..."

The lass with hair colored the likes of the night sky would apparently be departing from her place of residence, here in the house of Dionysus. Whenever she made her way toward the exit, she would be met by a full party of another sort. This dozen or so individuals standing outside the building seemed to be in a state of constant ecstasy as they fondled and caressed one another. At their center was a particularly gorgeous male with long, blue hair, blue eyes, pink lipstick, and a beauty mark beneath his left eye. He sported robes made of the finest periwinkle silk, and a crown made of roses. Whenever the girl who'd so recently thrown this party emerged from her building, he would be at the head of this group, waiting for her with open arms. "Deianira! You threw another party without me, didn't you? I thought we were on good terms."

Having finally managed to reach the outdoor part of her house, the young woman was going to slip off without any one noticing. Her house full of the drunken and happy bodies of various new youths with the other girl who'd woken to ask for more, being the first to wake from last nights epic bash. Of course, Deianira would not be rewarded for her kindness lightly. As she walked out she was confronted by a throng of constant ecstasy and one particular blue haired male in the middle. She instantly began to smile looking very purposefully not at the wandering hands and body movements of his followers though he seemed to have open arms. "Albafica, nice to see you so busy first thing in the mornin'. Well... evenin'," she said, on the matter of the party had here the previous night she had little to say. "We're on good terms and all. It's just the theme of that party wouldn't have suited you~ When I come up with one which fits you, I'll send you a nice invite~" she said as she stepped forward knowing she'd have to move past this group and figuring the man's open arms weren't going anywhere she stop several paces shy of him and his group, standing her ground with her right hand on her hip and her left hanging loosely at her side.

"Is it morning?" he asked, taking a moment then to check the sun's location. True enough, it was just after dawn, as far as he could tell. "Hmm. I've been inside for a few days now, I think. Our house is always so crowded, it's hard to find the door past the groin of whoever's in front of it at times." This girl, Deianira, allegedly thought the theme of her most recent party was not one suited to his form or preference. When she stepped forward, Albafica anticipated acceptance of his open embrace, but the girl stopping paces ahead of him brought him pause, and left his own arms to drop at their sides. "Ahh, what a shame. One day. You're going hunting again, aren't you? I'm sure you wouldn't mind if I tended to the party-goers in your stead. I'd like to familiarize myself with the newcomers, and knowing you, this party brought all of them to one nice little spot~"

"I... can't imagine," she said, knowing that the children of Aphrodite and all of their... companions seemed to be all about their physical desires, she imagined something of a semi-constant orgy taking place at their dwelling. Even so, she was no prude and had no room to be, she just... wasn't about to participate in any such activity herself. Given this she wasn't apt to accept physical contact with Albafica since she was fairly certain his passive powers didn't affect her and wouldn't want any active ones within such a short distance. He went on to ask about her activities guessing rightly at her planned activity for the rest of the day. "Yes, I'm on my way out. The party goers from this newest set are mostly all in there..." she'd noted a cup which had a name on it which was left on the collection table on her way out the door. One lone young person hadn't joined in for the invitation party.

It was quite unusual for people not to show up to Deianira's parties. Hell, most times she found herself turning away some of the more veteran dwellers or promising them parties for different times because they'd tried to sneak in. As for what he planned to do to 'get to know' the newcomers she could only guess. But this group was mostly older in their late teens and early twenties so she wasn't all that concerned. "Do as you like, I left the hangover extras the glitter ball punch bowl should anyone be too blitzed to get it together. Party until your heart's content~" she said happily. It was one of a few times where she was more than happy to move it right along. "One of them is already awake and working on a fresh one. She seems like she'd be fun," she said giving a gentle salute to the young looking blue haired son of Aphrodite.

"Sure you can," he replied as his own hands came to rest upon his hips. A peculiar statement came from the daughter of Dionysus; she mentioned that most of the newcomers were present. Albafica's left brow rose. "Most?" was the first thing to escape his mouth thereafter. A few steps forward by Albafica resulted in his harem of followers accompanying him toward the building's interior. He would surely locate the singular awake party-goer before the rest, but in passing Deianira, he had one thing to say about her previous claim. "I think you might be losing your touch. See you when you get back."

"One. There was one missing person from that party..." she said seeming to feel particularly miffed at the idea that she was losing her touch. It wasn't possible. People always talked about her parties, always wanted to attend. She couldn't show her face around here if she wasn't at least Dionysus' daughter enough to keep a lively group of young Demigods blissful and merry. "Tsk," was the only sound that left her mouth as she was passed by the Harem, but at least this way she'd be free to roam the wilds. And while she was out, perhaps figure out why a single young man had just skipped out on her party in such a fashion. She knew all the invites had been properly delivered and that the theme was perfect for newcomers. How could someone really not come to one of her parties? She'd be left to ponder this as she took off on a run through the developed portion of New Olympus headed for... the Wilds.

Several days later, New Olympus was visited by another god of Olympus. It was early morning when the god with flaming hair, Apollo, appeared atop a burning carriage carried by the might of its flames alone. This arrival produced great amounts of light, as if another sun had appeared on Earth. Alongside him would be his half-wolf daughter, Amethea, whom he beckoned to follow him as he exited the carriage. They were presently located near the core of New Olympus, outside of a great building with Apollo's symbols adorning it. "Here we are. Do you remember your brother from here?"

Amethea arrived with her father in one of his modern chariots. It was trimmed with flames at the bottom, and it was levitating off the ground. once when it got to a hover her watched as her father got off speaking to her. When called her over She hopped out of the carriage landing on all fours. She stretched before walking closer, "You mean big brother with the pretty blonde hair?" she looked at the Apollo with curiosity, "I remember but I haven't seen him in a long time." She was both curious about the place they arrived at and why they were there.

"Father what is this place and why does it smell of so many different species in one place?" Her ears and tail both dropped as she sat beside her the sun god. She remember when her brother left it was the last time she'd seen him to date. The more she pondered, the more she felt uneasy about the scene at hand.

"I'm sure. It should be almost eight years now," Apollo replied. Within moments of these two arriving, the door to the house of Apollo's children opened. From this opened door came the very lad of which they spoke: Aiolia, the 23 year-old blonde son of Apollo. A diamond arrowhead dangled from the young man's neck, tapping against his chest with every step he took. "Good morning, dad. Are you overseeing New Olympus this time?" he asked upon approaching the deity. While this query was on the table, Aiolia's gaze shifted toward the Beastial lass at Apollo's side. "What happened? Where's Amethea?" he asked further. In response, Apollo placed his armored hand atop Amathea's head. "Hello, son. This is Amathea. I'm not here to be an overseer; I'm here to leave her here, with you and the others."

Aiolia seemed confused by this information he was being fed. He looked at this girl again, and the fur she had did match the color he remembered. However, there was something specific he remembered about this individual. "I thought she wasn't a Lycanthrope..." Apollo nodded when this was said. Indeed, he had informed this boy that the wolf in his company was the boy's sibling, and had also stated that she was nothing more than a wolf. Apollo, however, did not know any better at the time. "She wasn't. Rather... she's not, but she also is. It's rather hard to explain." With that said, Apollo stood in front of the half-wolf demigod, crouching to be able to look her in the eye as he spoke. "You'll be living with your brother now, alright? No more hunting together for us."

Upon hearing Apollo's words Amethea's eyes met Apollo's. "Father I don't understand, have I done something wrong?" Though she knew her father would never just abandon, she also didn't understand why any of this was going on. Her ears were now pressed into her hair. Despite the fact that she was seeing her elder brother for the first time in eight years, the separation from her and her father seemed to be the thing to occupy most of her thoughts. She glanced in the direct of her older brother before directing her attention back to the sun god "Why can't we hunt anymore? I don't want that." She spoke trying to hide the rising sadness.

For the past few days so much has happen, so suddenly that the situation wasn't clear to her from the beginning.

"Of course not. But, you know how I was never able to bring you into Olympus with me? It's something like that," Apollo said as his arm came to rest upon his elevated knee. "You'll either hunt alone, or with Aiolia from now on. You're a demigod, so you have to live among demigods. You'll have fun, you'll learn new things, and you'll get better... and then, maybe we will be able to hunt again some day. In the meantime..." Apollo shuffled his free hand around beneath his cape, pausing when he realized Amethea had paws instead of hands. "I suppose one won't do. In that case, here," he said. When his hand emerged, it held ten glowing, finger-sized objects. The subsiding of the glow revealed them to be diamond-like constructs meant to fit over the claws this girl possessed. "These are my arrowheads. Your brother has one, but these are special. You can wear them on your claws. Don't worry; Aiolia will be able to teach you all about these things that are new to you."

She glanced at the present that was in Apollo's hands, with hesitation she grasped them in her hands. Despite being sad she understood her fathers explanation. She gazed at her father once more, unsure of how to feel about being away from the only person she's known her whole life. She gave her father a brave smile with the intention to hug him if he were to allow it. Afterwards she would then walk towards her blonde older brother. Staring into his blue eyes she spoke, "Nice to meet you big brother." She sat sideways so she would be able to look at both her brother and her father who looked fairly similar other than the difference in hair and eye color.

"Atta girl," said Apollo as he opened his cape to accept and return the cub girl's embrace. He then stood, looking toward Aiolia. "I trust you'll be more than capable," he said, prompting the young male to nod while Apollo returned to his chariot. "Of course. Later, dad." Only a few moments later, Apollo was waving to the pair of children while fading from view.

Once Apollo was out of sight, Aiolia sighed and looked toward his half-beast sibling. "There he goes again. Well... welcome to New Olympus, sis. How much did dad tell you about the place?"

Amethea turned her attention to Aiolia once Apollo left, "I don't really know anything, not even that I was coming here." She walked on all fours closer to her brother and sniffed him and the area around him. She then perked up and smiled, "You smell like sunshine. Its similar to fathers, but warmer." This wasn't said to put the young demi off, but rather as an indication that she was comfortable with him. "So what is this place and why are there so many different people in one place?" she spoke in a much clearer and happier tone.

"That's... not as surprising as I'd like it to be," he said with a sigh. Even though Apollo was likely one of the friendlier gods to have as a parent, he was still aloof. The teen he'd met now for only the second time sniffed him in a very dog-like manner, following this by comparing him to their father. Aiolia began moving toward the building in which he lived, which Amethea could also call home starting now, and beckoned for her to follow suit. "We're going to have to get you some clothes. I'll explain on the way," he stated. With that, he crossed the threshold into the building, where the walls seemed to be made of brightly-glowing gold. Various musical instruments were located around the entry hall, and various flower pots for decoration. The inside of the building smelled of clean linen and dried sage. "This whole society was made for people like us. Most of the people who live here are half-mortal children of different gods. Every god has a house here for their children, and this house is for us and any other demigod children dad decides to have."

The young girl followed her elder brother into the house on all fours. When they entered, she would be greeted with the smell of clean air with a linger of sage. Anthea was currently wearing loose chains and jewelry, which barely covered her chest and the front lower area. Both her hands and feet still had claws and fur to match her furry ears and tail which swayed with much excitement. "What are clothes?" She questioned, for it was apparent that she nothing of what mortals did even to the simplest of tasks. She was also curious about other things she would soon question but somehow she seemed more interested in the thing that she would be recieving.

Aiolia's stride to his room was halted by the sudden query of Amethea. He'd forgotten the recently revealed fact that this one had only just gained human form, and thus would likely be unaware of such things as clothes. "Oh... right. Clothes are... well... things that people put on their bodies. They cover up the important places that don't have fur, like here," he said, gesturing toward his own genital region. "You're a girl, so you should also cover up here." With that, Aiolia then gestured toward his upper torso. He'd hoped this explanation would be understood, but he also hoped there was something in the house that could pass for clothing to be worn by Amethea.

Kiyomi

"These are suppose to be covered?" She said eyeing the areas where the young blonde pointed. The young half-breed laid down on the ground a few inches away from the golden boy, "So why are your clothes shiny?" She was curious about the young lads golden attire.

"Yes. It's indecent to not have them covered," was Aiolia's reply. Amethea went on to question the nature of his clothes; more specifically, why they were so shiny. "This is called armor. It's like clothes that you wear over your other clothes, but it's made of hard materials to protect you from damage. This specific armor is from dad, because I'm his champion. You could earn something like this from dad, or one of the other gods, if you wanted to put in the effort."

Kiyomi

Amethea's ears laid flat against her dark blue hair, "So if your his champion, shouldn't you be with him? Also I'm still not sure as to why we couldn't just stay with father?" She was very displeased with this separation and though she loved her father he couldn't just accept the lack of explaintion given to her from the sun god. She asked her elder sibling hoping that he would give a proper answer.

For Amethea this wasn't the first time when she wasn't allowed to go somewhere with her father and figure it was connected with the reason she was left at New Olympus.

"It just doesn't work like that," he said, choosing then to continue his journey upstairs to the wardrobe room. He would explain in greater detail en route. "Our father is a god, and we are half mortal. Because we're not gods, we can't live with gods. We're also not completely mortal, so we can't stay in their domain either. That's why we have our own civilization here, but we can still visit the gods, or be visited by them on occasion. Dad stops by every now and then, and stays here for a while." Once he reached the wardrobe room, Aiolia began shuffling around for articles of clothing that might fit this sister of his. After quite some time spent searching, he found nothing worthwhile. "Alright, so... it looks like we're going to have to improvise. You're used to having fur, so it'd probably be best to hunt something down and skin it for clothing, huh..."

Kiyomi
08-17-2017, 06:12 AM
The young girl now had a better understanding of what was going on, and was decently pleased with the explanation; yet upon hearing Aiolia's last statement, trampling sounds would then be heard, followed by the appearance of Amethea with perked ears and a rapidly wagging tail. "Really, really?! Can we go now, can we?!" She became overly excited at the mention of hunting for that was the one thing that she loved.

Bloodedge

Aiolia raised a brow to the very hyper response to his mention of hunting. He supposed if this girl had previously been in wolf form alone, she'd never done much aside from some hunting trips with their father. As such, the hunt was liable to hold a special place in her heart. Aiolia sighed when he realized he'd likely have to alter his own hunting methods to adjust to a regular companion on the trips he took. It was also likely that he'd be taking more than he'd been used to now. "Alright, calm down. We can go now. Head to the wilds, and I'll catch up. I'm sure you can smell your way to the right place."

The young demi sniffed the air intensely before getting the general direction of the wilds. Her sense of smell was always amazing yet seemed weaker this moment. "Right, I got it." She spun in a circle before darting down the stairs and out the door on all fours. By the time her hind legs left the door to her new home, her body transformed. The chains and jewelry tightened around her now fully furry body, and turned into a giant wolf, which stood as large as a one story building. With her strengthen sense of smell she took off in the direction of the wilds, where their prey would be.

The son of Apollo took the time in which this sibling of his ran toward the wilds to have a short breather. Mentally, this entire ordeal was a lot to be suddenly going through, but he supposed he'd be getting used to it one way or another. His only real issue was looking ahead to the matter of this girl being half wolf, and therefore a more nocturnal being. Regardless of this train of thought, he rubbed the diamond arrowhead on his necklace, and began on his path toward the wilds. There was still much daylight to burn, so he could afford to do this now.
