Shikai: Its Shikai command is Asobou (遊ぼう, Let's Play). Hyousuke's katana becomes a long red ad yellow staff which can break off into two staves. It also has a third form, that with the help of the 12th Division, is able to be kept hidden. Its third and most powerful form is when it becomes a pair of nun-chucks, but instead of the standard version of this weapon, it is replaced with four guns in place of the chucks connected with a golden chain. The first and second stages can only be used for melee, however the third is used for ranged and melee combinations which has been proven to be deadly. Yet due to this fact he only uses the first two, with caps in the barrels, making it look like a regular staff and staves. The gun-chucks can shoot spiritual energy at targets like bullets from a gun.
