"Baaaka~" Shoichi replied following Chiyo's claim that wind manipulation likely wouldn't work out for her. "Your wings are feathery. That means you've got wind manipulation in ya'. They look pretty heavy, though. You'd probably be classified as a power type if you were a wind rider," he concluded, seeming to have his focus brought to the area surrounding the Storm Queen, instead of looking directly at her. "By the way, you might have been watching wind manipulators, and that's cool and all, but... it ain't the same. You borrowed my vision earlier, but you still didn't see what I see. You're lookin' for the wrong thing, and there's a lot ya' gotta understand to make it work out for ya'."

Chiyo listened to Shoichi and while she expected him to say she could do it, the way he phrased this sentence made her a bit confused. Well, that wasn't really the proper way to describe it, nothing in the Sky King's first few sentences made any sense to this girl. All the confusion washed over her face as she crossed her arms over her chest looking a tad perturbed. "I don't know what the fuck you are even talking about right now. Wings? Feathery? Heavy? Power type? Fuck! None of those things are even remotely logical." the Storm Queen seemed to be a tiny bit annoyed. Beyond this the rest of what Shoichi had to say and found it to be a bit less annoying to understand. "The rest of that though... alright." she said, she knew that the hardest part of vision was knowing what to use it for, she didn't know what to really look for with her own. She still didn't have it in her to turn down a challenge or a new learning experience, so she'd take what Shoichi had to offer, and all of the frustrations that would probably give her.

"Yare yare," Shoichi said with a sigh as he raised both hands in front of himself. He supposed he hadn't actually showed Chiyo what wings were like, and with that in mind, he clapped his hands to manipulate the surrounding stardust into revealing the wings he spoke of. "There. Heavy-looking, feathery wings. Judging by those, I'd say that if you were a wind rider, R.E.A.D. would have you classed as a Power type. Those wings don't make for speed or flexibility. You'd be Gale Road, without a doubt. Now, about that understanding... If you wanna use the wind, ya' gotta accept that you can't own it. The wind does what it wants, and all you can do is guide it."

It seemed that Chiyo's lack of understanding would lead to the Sky King clarifying in a most unconventional way. The shift in hands changed the stardust around the pair of them, revealing on the small girl some heavy looking feathery wings. She'd never seen anything like this before and found herself staring over her shoulder as if distracted by the sight. "Sugei!~ That's so cool! They look fluffy!~ Kawaii!~" she squealed and giggled with girlish delight while she twisted and turned her upper body while taking in what Shoichi was saying and wondering why he was capable of showing her such a thing. His explanation beyond that seemed to connect these wings with a particular leaning towards a certain flavor of wind based road. When he moved on to say that the understanding of the wind she needed was that she couldn't own it, the small girl stopped her happy looking to face the young man before her with narrow eyes. The look she was giving wasn't a pleasant one either, she seemed to be a bit cross at the idea not that she'd say that aloud. In her head it translated to... 'Who the fuck do you think I am? I'll own whatever the fuck I want.' the girl's nature was a bit acquisitive but it wasn't something she usually thought about actively, so she didn't say anything about it. No instead she circled back. "We don't just get to move past this, like you didn't just manifest this out of nowhere. the fuck! Shoichi why and how do you see this?" she questioned the thing she understood while not giving anything about apparently only guiding the wind, that wasn't really something.

Though Chiyo said nothing about it, Shoichi chose to reemphasize the lack of domination one could have on the wind due to the expression she carried after hearing about it initially. "You heard me. Guidance; no control. It ain't possible to make the wind your bitch," he said. It seemed, though, that the Storm Queen was more immediately concerned with his ability to see wings. It just so happened to be the case that this was a more advanced form of what he intended to lead this teaching with. "I've always seen them. Well... sorta. I didn't always see them clearly, and I didn't really know what they meant, but... the key to wind manipulation is first being able to see the wind. Ya' don't need special eyes for that; you just have to be able to predict it. The wind scatters light when it moves, so if you look for that light, you can start to see the wind and find its pattern."

The Sky King went on to add more emphasis to some sort of innate inability to control the wind. Well, in the sense of domination which was something the Storm Queen was known for doing. She looked at the white haired young man before her and frowned her eyes darting to the left. "I fucking heard you the first time. Doesn't mean I have to like that shit." she mentioned sticking her tongue out at the young man. And this was rather true of her as a person, she didn't like the idea that there were things she couldn't have if she wanted them and people she couldn't dominate if she needed to, it gave her anxiety. And was probably one of the main reasons she kept such close tabs on people who seemed to be immune to her antics. Still the Sky King was presenting her with essential information and she'd at least hear it out and try to process it. "Scattering light... huh." she shifted her vision from the Sky King around the space aiming to see the wind move, in her turn she'd deactivated her special eye, figuring she should see if it was possible to notice what she was looking for without it. After all, she wouldn't always want to use the type of vision she'd become accustomed to over the last month or so, and it would be better to figure this out on her own. "Also you didn't actually explain the wings." she stated as she continued looking around.

It was soon brought to Shoichi's attention that, even though he had gone over the ability to predict the wind, he had left out the bit about seeing the wings of other riders. "Oh, right. I guess that was the point, huh? Got a bit ahead of myself," he said prior to bringing his hand to his chin, as if to think of the proper explanation for the wings again. "The wings... they're a bit different. That's where the crazy eye comes in. Every rider interfaces with the wind on their run, no matter how much or how little. That leaves a sort of... imprint on the wind around you, and boom... wings. That's basically how I know how your run's gonna evolve, and how you've got wind in ya'. That's the future I see."

While she stared out into the air, Chiyo tried to understand this scattering light. She knew that it was almost impossible to trace the movements of the wind alone, so she looked for the bigger picture. Such would be how she aimed to understand this other form of prediction and after how it would be used. As her eyes began tracing looking for the patterns of the wind, she heard out Shoichi's explanation for what wings actually were. She was quite stunned by it. It seemed like it would be really useful, and not just for figuring out what people's roads were going to do. "Sou ka, that sounds pretty fucking useful. You should totally figure out how to use that to see how people are gonna attack ya' and shut them down. That'd be fucking badass." she said as she began to see the shifting of the light around the pair of them. Even with her normal eyes there were small shimmers which would alert her to a breeze which she'd feel across her skin. It's how she figured out what to look at, feeling then looking and after a few moments she knew where to look to before the feeling took place. Kind of like watching an animal hear a sound in the distance. Only in this case she was seeing a movement and averting her attention to watch it more fully. Such a thing would lead to the girl seeming a bit distracted, though now she fully understood an oddly annoying factor about her wind loving friends.

"Oro?" he said reflexively. "... Sou ka. I guess I haven't thought about it like that before, but now that you mention it... there is a bit of flapping that happens when people use tricks, or even move." Shoichi would have to remember to keep that bit of information in mind for later. For the moment, though, Chiyo was doing well to become capable of seeing the light of which he spoke. This was easily noticed by her very spaced-out expression while looking around at, seemingly, nothing at all to a normal individual. Shoichi joined her in this wind gazing, and spoke as he looked around. "Looks awesome, doesn't it?" he asked upon reaching the Storm Queen's side and shifting his gaze to look at the same winds.

"Hm-huh." this was uttered by the Storm Queen in response to the Sky King's assertion about better uses for his ability to see wings. She'd have to remember to show him what her eye was actually capable of, in order to help him develop that skill. But right now she was utterly distracted by the shifting winds. So distracted, in fact, that she soon found herself just replying to the Sky King when he came up beside her to join her in staring at the wind around them. She had an issue with seeing this much at base, as it had to make everyone else utterly useless as people, if all they got to see was wind around people all the time. Even so, she did think it looked amazing. "Hai~ It's fucking stunning." she said pausing after realizing she'd spoken aloud and frowning just a little bit. She seemed to feel the need to clarify a bit so she did. "Distracting as all hell, but... it's growing on me. So, then what's next?"
