When Kaguya's phone call reached its end, Yugi could finally halt the use of his mana. In doing so, he was forced to squint for a few moments. It seemed the more he enhanced his sight, the more taxing it was. Yugi couldn't even imagine what his eyes' movement looked like from the outside when he did that. Regardless, he was soon joined in the living room by Kaguya once more. At that time, her legs rose to tuck themselves under her body. As anyone could have expected, Yugi's eyes wandered with neither hesitation nor restriction, still seeking whatever glance he could manage.

Of course, he wasn't done observing. Kaguya wasn't touching her ring now. Surely something was going on in her mind though; he could see it in her body language. They were in the middle of something, she said after a cursory apology for the interjection. He couldn't get enough of that tone she used. It seemed to be such a natural part of her demeanor, but that didn't keep it from working similarly to intentional flirts. "We were in the middle of something. Yugi's most recent clause had so many potential outcomes. The simple negative was that he'd make too much of a forward push and set himself back an entire interaction with Kaguya, potentially even failing his quest. The most effective, yet boring outcome would have been Kaguya diving right in, losing neither frustration nor confusion along the way. Ah, but it seemed Yugi was truly victorious in ways that wouldn't normally be clear right away. He managed to break tension, and relieve stress. That was the best possible outcome for this scene, he believed. Through Kaguya's laughter, everything else melted away and set the stage for... something else. What that something would be, was entirely up to where they went from the rising curtain.

At the end of her laughter, Kaguya claimed forgetfulness. She didn't remember making that agreement? Well, that made one of them. "Really? You definitely did. Fugitive's honor," Yugi said, forming an imaginary upside-down cross over his heart. As for Kaguya's missing favorite singer... he could imagine who that was. "Probably just a new album that wasn't suitable for public consumption," he said. The sly way Kaguya mentioned that fact had him believing she knew who that secret artist was. The signs were just too obvious, after all. Whatever the case, she'd apparently been planning to stretch. She even thought to show him something nice in exchange for the help, offering her phone to the lad. "And I thought you'd done the stretching in the kitchen. I was watching," he admitted while taking the device. "Impulsive decisions made to buy thinking time. I can get down with that in this case," Yugi commented. Opening Kaguya's music app, he searched for a short while before pressing play on a song called Swim by the popular rising star Chase. "Pretty hectic list you've got here. Any preferences?"

Yugi's words had a lot of potential outcomes but they broke the tension of the moment overall. Kaguya wasn't the type of person to hold people saying what they thought against them. She'd been trying to get a feel for the lad and such words from him had helped in more ways than he could initially realize. Still according to him she had agreed to the ass shaking and even put it on being a fugitive.
