<Nocturnal Harmonia>

"So far, yet so soon," Yugi added to the thought of sunrise. There was ample time for them to get quite a bit done between now and sunrise. On the other hand, there was little enough time that they'd feel like they hadn't done enough yet. Such was the dichotomy of the very perverse relationship between Players; there weren't even enough positions in the world to sate their combined lust. Human lifespans weren't long enough either, but they were quickly moving toward a fix for both problems.

Ping pong was generally accepted as a game idea. Well, Yugi didn't really care to participate in a game of ping pong, but there were certain attitudes he didn't like when it came to competitions. Boasting without knowing the ability of one's opponent was pure folly. Yugi always became quite pleased when an opportunity to exploit that folly showed itself. As such, he'd compete ─ just not on Miyuki's team. Stepping into the next room, Miyuki shared some additional information ─ some tidbits that paired well with his decision for teammates, or so he thought. "Well, I can't brag on just me. That sneaky gal over there~" he said, picking up a paddle and using it to point at Kaguya. "She's a danger. Give her enough space to work, and she'll give me a run for my money. I'd even say I only eke out a win because of Hunter experience. But anyway. Hon, wanna work your moves for Kiriya-kun?" he asked. Yugi barely caught himself in that moment. A chortle escaped him almost immediately, and he only just managed to 'mute' himself for Miyuki before it did. After succeeding, he also picked up a paddle, using it to block his mouth just long enough to speak again. "Well? Wanna 'work your moves' for me?♥~"

Both near and far was the idea of sunset. Miko herself was excited by the idea of abandoning everything to seek pleasure in her partner. She'd gladly include others in that endeavor if they were a bit more open to it, but alas, not everyone was so easy to rope into their antics. For now, she thought the better of her baser instincts deciding to play a game with her bestie and that woman's significant other. Though, whenever time allowed the pair would eventually be the kind the sought for pleasure alone.

For now though, Miko heard out Miyuki. His tone wasn't merely boastful of himself, he recognized Kaguya's skill. Though the physical kind of activities in their friend group were normally the idea of another individual, it seemed Kaguya was good enough as she was to almost attain victory over the A-Rank Tanker. 'She probably wins with a bit of extra endurance,' Miko decided mentally. Aloud Kaguya flirted playfully, recognition was pleasant in its own way, "Oya♥~ You trying to butter me up, Miyuki?~ It might work~" she said in a teasing tone. As for working her moves for 'Kiriya-kun'. That flirty little smile appeared on her face, "I don't care what side of the table I'm on♥~ I'm sure he has his own moves to work with~" she said her tone remaining light. "I don't mind, after that whole team satisfaction thing yesterday I wouldn't mind a dance in the winner's circle♥~" Kaguya offered playfully. While Miko watched and processed. She figured this would happen, it was part of the odd dance of one like Miyuki. He likely meant well, she was the softest of the group by personality, and identifiably the potential weakest link. If he saw himself as the strongest pairing up with her, was likely meant to both function as a handicap for himself and to give him platonic access to her. Inside that room around the table Miko already understood her place. She stood across from Yugi picking up a paddle and flipping it around in her hand. "This feels weighted," she murmured softly. She knew she wasn't a liability as a teammate but that was something other people had to learn about her.

It was clear to Yugi how Miyuki would rather arrange teams. If it wasn't one matter of 'fairness' in his head, it was another. Yugi bet on the route of involvement ─ some justification for making the other couple feel more included. It also likely had something to do with building a form of partnership with Miko, while avoiding having to watch her across the table. Little did Miyuki know, he was enabling a partnership on the other side as well. Kaguya's attitude going into the game was one Yugi liked ─ especially with that edge of secret flirtation thrown into the mix. "Oh I've got some moves. Let's put on a show~" he said to the black-haired lass.

And so, the table was set. Yugi looked across the table and saw... opposition and competition in two different visages, and Miyuki was only the latter. Before the serve, Miko noted a bit of weight to the paddle. Miyuki raised a finger using the same hand he held the ball in. "They're safe for Hunters. Special items had to be tested for little things like this before people started making weapons for people to take into Dungeons. Besides, Hunters have to be able to have fun too. These paddles, balls and tables can take the play of an A-ranker without any issues at all," he explained. "Ready?" he asked thereafter. Yugi nodded. If everyone expressed their readiness, Miyuki would immediately serve, aiming right between Kaguya and Yugi ─ the latter of whom wouldn't bother making a move yet. No, Yugi was busy watching Miko. He knew how this game would end.

Miko thought about the situation surrounding team dynamics and thought of them as fair but with a hidden agenda. It wasn't even bad to not put all the aspects of oneself out there, but it was obvious he both didn't see everything and he wasn't showing everything. That being said, she'd made an agreement not to out him, and told him he could look so... she figured it was only fair to continue the seduction and see how it would go. Yugi and Kaguya were already getting to know each other well enough for Miko not to worry about them, though she knew Miyuki should, but perhaps he was one of those people who couldn't see past his own thoughts, Miko was like that herself sometimes. No matter, a show was being put on and Kaguya could only smirk, "It's always a show with me♥~" she said with a light tease. So light in fact that it wasn't at all any different from how she spoke in general, but those who were in the know knew better.

Beyond internal musings this could also be counted as a learning experience. Apparently, equipment was made in stages, with entertainment for hunters and sports equipment being made. This ping pong tableand accessories could be used by A-rank Hunters for leisure. "Sou ka, that makes a decent bit of sense, arigatou, Shirogane-san♪~" Miko sang those little words and placed her eyes on Kaguya and Yugi. She could see herself outlasting Kaguya for most things, but she was a bit slippery. Yugi on the other hand was likely to be an even realer form of competition. She would have preferred not be on the other side of him in most cases but she still smiled, "Ready!♪~ I'll do my best♪~" she stated for everyone, but for Yugi she added a little extra, "And I'll keep it fun for you♪~" offered to him directly. And whenever that ball dropped a game would begin. The ball that was going towards the middle between Kaguya and Yugi would be tapped back towards Miyuki by Kaguya herself with just an extension of her arm and a smirk to bounce it towards Miko who heard the first tap and tapped it back when it bounced in front of her, aiming it directly towards Yugi instead. Such would be how this game got started.

Kaguya was right; she did always put on a show. Knowing Miyuki was a rather ignorant individual, Yugi freely snapped back with a cheeky flirt that would go right over the blonde's head. "So I've seen. Looking forward to what you'll do next♥~" he said. At that time, Miyuki was still speaking with Miko, thinking nothing of the exchange between the other two. "Hai. This kind of trick let them come up with a lot of good gear to help Hunters make it in everyday life... and to help modern equipment be sturdy enough to handle it," he concluded.

Everyone seemed ready, so Miyuki served first. The ball was launched between his opponents, but a most casual flick from Kaguya sent it in Miko's direction. With the promise of keeping things fun for her partner, Miko sent it toward Yugi afterwards. "I'm sure you will," he stated. Yugi had no interest in wasting time. Miyuki would be put in his place by virtue of the game going on, so he didn't seem too bothered about that. He did, however, strike the ball in such a way as to bounce it up. It didn't make a full journey down before Yugi paddled it again, hitting it at an angle to avoid a rapid movement... but also one that would have it spinning by the time it reached the other side ─ an effort to negatively affect the trajectory when Miyuki went for the return. As a result, Miyuki's next strike spiraled the ball toward his partner instead. . .

Flriting between Kaguya and Yugi was happening right in front of Miyuki and he either didn't notice or didn't understand. Whichever the case, Kaguya spoke the same way all the time, so she didn't feel terribly uncomfortable with the conversation taking place regardless. "Oya?♥~" I'll have to make it good then~ I'll have to live up to the hype♥~" Kaguya claimed in that playful manner. A gentle set up taps had that ping pong ball moving across the table, while Miyuki spoke of the usefulness of new tools in the age of Hunters. "That's a good way to do that... everyday items into more difficult ones♪!~" Miko decided. That was likely the work of tech companies and merchandisers. People like the leaders of Capsule Corp and Kaiba Corp... along with a few other major producers and movers like the IPC.

Ah but there was the game going on, and eventually, Miko placed Yugi into the mix, sending the ball his way by her own first effort. She wasn't surprised when he upped the ante. She expected something a bit tricky from him and found his hit against that ball did something strange to the way it moved. She couldn't really follow it with her eyes, but she knew by the time, it was hit by Miyuki that it wasn't going across the table. "Waaah♪~" that little utterance escaped her as she tossed the paddle from one hand to another and bounced it up with just enough force that it wouldn't clear their side of the table, but that was fine. There was a long game to play here, and she'd be doing that in the same moment. "Gomen♪~ I didn't expect it to come my way that time!♪~" Miko uttered quickly looking to Miyuki as innocently as her mostly exposed chest would allow. Kaguya watched Miko and thought her behavior interesting. She'd seen the girl having great targeting and wondering if she was simply using her eyes as a form of handicap.

The first serve of their game didn't result in an immediate point on either end. Kaguya returned, then Miko returned, then Yugi returned... and then, Miyuki failed. Miko made an effort to save the ball during that moment, but it didn't make its way across the net. Miyuki was already looking down at his paddle, befuddled. "I didn't expect it to go that way either. That's a dangerous move. Oh well; we'll get 'em!" Miyuki assured as if he were the one to rely on at that end of the table. Yugi huffed. Another thing he wasn't a fan of seeing, was players with ability being held down by players who brought only confidence and audacity to the game. He knew whose fault that initial loss was.

The mood of the game was set from that moment on. Yugi looked as if he were ready to enter combat by the next serve, and so he remained as the ball went to and fro for multiple turns thereafter. To his credit, Miyuki was managing to keep up anytime there were no outlandish returns. Some things were only becoming more intense, though. As one example... Yugi's eyes were becoming more and more useful as time passed. He could see the trajectory of each return before it happened, and with that foresight... he'd be responding to a fast-paced ball with every intention of bouncing it off his paddle, off Kaguya's where it rested in wait, off the enemy side of the table, and right into Miko's exposed cleavage.

hThe first few movements of the ball didn't have any real points going around. The ball seemed to be moving quite a bit but the tricky shot made by Yugi had Miko trying to recover from a serve that didn't make it in the direction it would have been intended. According to Miyuki that move performed by Yugi was dangerous. But there was still optimism in his tone, and he put on the reliable face. 'Game hero type, sou...' Miko decided mentally. "Hai! Let's do our best♪!~" Miko asserted. She'd keep things interesting for Yugi but she also now knew how to mediate the weaknesses of her ping pong partner. Oddly enough that information would also be added to her understanding of him as a person. She'd also encountered his type in the gaming community.

To Miyuki's credit though once the ball started moving again, he was able to keep up quite a bit. Miko became more comfortable as time went on and serves got easier to mediate. Right up until a dual set of bounces on the other side, sent the ball directly towards her, into her exposed cleavage. "WAAAAH♪~ HOW'D IT END UP THERE!?" Miko demanded immediately. Of course, aside from her public outrage she knew it was Yugi, those eyes of his developed under the condition of use and she imagined this little game counted as training when she tried to do tricky things. Currently though her face was red and her lips were wobbly. "Oya?♥~ How about I give you a little hand?~" Kaguya said watching the girl stand with her hands up she felt the desire to invade her personal space. Kaguya slipped around her looking at Yugi over the smaller girl's head. "You got my side right?" she asked her partner as she pushed Miko's boobs together rolling her hands against the side as if she was winding up a charged attack. Then she'd squeeze quickly causing that ball to rocket from between that exposed flesh and bounce onto the table in front of her at least once. "Ara♥~ You're really growing everyday, Mi-chan♥~" Kaguya said teasing the lass. "If you're going to tease me, you have to deal with the consequences♪!~" Miko chirped aggressively, she'd turn her head and lick the side of Kaguya's face before thinking about it, as such a reaction was pretty normal for Kaguya invading Miko's personal space.

The more the game progressed, the more Yugi did use it as another training method. If the ball got fast enough, Yugi was sure he could reliably become like those characters who fought against gunfire with swords... and won. Sadly, Miyuki's returns didn't allow that kind of speed to build up. Miko's did, though. Such was how she ended up with a ping pong ball lodged in her cleavage, much to Yugi's satisfaction once he saw her reaction. "Ball to the chest? Is it really the first time?" he asked teasingly. Kaguya would be moving around the table to offer her own special brand of assistance. Yugi had a few ideas as to what was coming. "Side, front back ─ I've got it all~" he flirted, though it seemed innocuous enough to be a boast to someone like Miyuki.

Well... Miyuki was quite preoccupied anyway. Miko was now beside him with a ping pong ball stuck in her very, very exposed cleavage. His eyes were locked, his mouth agape and his mind racing. By the time that ball was popped out, Miyuki was already repeating the amount of jiggling that came before it in his head. 'It's okay. This is fine. I'm just... blown away by this crazy situation...' he justified to himself. Sadly for Miyuki, the ball's return to Yugi's side of the table paired with Yugi knowing exactly what was going on. He paddled the ball just once more. As a result, it was sent rocketing directly into Miyuki's open mouth, snatching his attention from where it was. "Mmrph!" Miyuki mumbled while recoiling.

Miko figured the hits from Miyuki wouldn't count for the speed needed to force Yugi's reactions. She also found them a bit off rhythm, but that was fairly normal. She'd do her best to cover both people at this table that needed her. She'd make sure that Yugi's game remained reliably entertaining and she'd to her best as Miyuki's teammate, even though she already knew she wasn't a burden to him. What she couldn't have done was predicted that ball to the chest. "Of course it is! Balls to the chest require both chest and positioning♪~" Miko asserted. One of those things she'd not had initially and the other hadn't come up again, but perhaps she'd do it for Yugi in a bit and make up for lost time.

Beyond that the flirts were a bit freer as well, but Kaguya realized they weren't registering to Miyuki the way such things usually did. "Very nice♥~" Kaguya commented. Either Miyuki didn't see Yugi as a threat or, he was mentally distracted... and Kaguya couldn't be sure which it was, until she moved to help Miko to help. She saw his line of sight and wondered if he was mentally panicking because he'd simply followed the ball's trajectory or if he was trying to find an appropriate way to help. Meanwhile, as she was wearing her licked face with honor while Miko looked at Miyuki's face knowing he wasn't looking at hers... 'Justification. He's thinking about why he's looking...' she decided, knowing she did similar things in certain situations. No matter, Yugi wasn't tolerating any nonsense, and eventually would be making a different kind of catch as that ping pong ball was placed in his mouth. "That's a better sound than I expected. Interesting catch, Shirogane-san♪~" Miko chirped. All the while, Kaguya shook her head. She moved around Miyuki and tapped him on the back to try and help him out as well. "There there, swallowing a ping pong ball would be weird~" she claimed in a teasing manner just as everyone did. If he spat it out, Miko planned to go fully back into play, but that was simply how she was... the game wasn't yet over for her. "Still, I'm surprised, I figured you would have had a melt down about the exposure, Mi-chan~" Kaguya commented knowing her friend was quite easy to fluster but didn't seem as concerned about her state of dress. "Iia, I mean... I'll freak out, but I've been in something way more revealing and made it through so I can just relax now, if the end result is something I am going to want♪~" Miko asserted her new maturity while waiting to see if she'd get a bit of extra effort going with her and Yugi in this cross match.
