Reim Empire

The combined efforts of this double Djinn Equip seemed to cause the end of the black-haired Magi. However, the ease at which this attack could defeat an alleged Magi was far too unbelievable for Fudo. Nevertheless, they were free of her now, and they could move on to retrieving their friends. "I agree. Once we find them, we can just leave," he said. Little did Fudo know, the friends they sought were very near to them.

"He's gone. That feeling went away just now," Bakura said regarding Tetsuya's presence. Moving right along, Bakura chose to lead the walk toward the others, waving his right arm in the air as he did so. "Hey guys, over here!"

Yasmin also thought it was far too easy of a dispatch for a supposed Magi, especially after being in the company of a couple of them for the duration of their journey. Even so, she simply nodded that they should find their friends and no sooner than she'd decided this that the voice of a certain ashen haired boy would be heard and he'd soon enough be seen waving an arm in their direction. "Baki, Nasira!~" Yasmin responded moving on to greet the pair of people they'd been looking for in the first place. "They're alright!" she exclaimed looking back rather happily at Fudo for just this moment, she figured he'd be just as happy about this as she was.

Nasira simply accepted this boy's apparent feeling as reason enough to assume the assassin boy had left for whatever reason. No matter how odd it was, it was very important that they all escape this place soon and now that their friends seemed to have dispatched a magi it would appear that they were in the clear to do exactly that. "Hi~" she managed as she also moved to greet the pair of dungeon capturers, and with their combined movements towards each other they'd meet in the space in the middle of the area that had previously separated them.

"Alright being the relative term," Fudo replied. Still, he approached the others, glancing over Bakura's battered form before stopping in front of Nasira. Disabling his Djinn Equip, and Yasmin's as a result, he reached out to the black-haired girl's face to check her status. "An interrogator did this. How far did they go?" he asked.

In the meantime, Bakura lowered his arm and rotated his shoulders. "Sorry we got caught. I thought we could do something useful while we had some downtime, but some big guy came in and found us."

Djinn Equips now cancelled, Yasmin was also looking over Bakura's face while Fudo looked over Nasira. She heard out what the boy had to say about their reason for coming here, and though she could somewhat understand wanting to help it was still a tiny bit reckless. Nasira on the other hand let Fudo look over her face, and though she'd taken a bit of a beating... she'd seen far worse. So she wasn't at all upset with the overall outcome of her day. In fact, she simply shook her head at the man. "This is it. Apparently they were under the impression that we were child spies from Artemyra. Anyways before any real damage could be done, that red headed assassin boy killed the interrogator so there is nothing to worry about." mentioned the black haired girl, who figured that Fudo was much more upset than he was letting on. She reached out for the man patting his shoulder. "Really. It isn't bad." she said.

Meanwhile Yasmin was looking over the face of her young friend as well, and his explanation which deserved some sort of retort. "Baki... I was really worried about the two of you." Yasmin mentioned. She seemed to relieved to find the pair of them not dead or in some kind of mangled bloody heap. With this in mind she was quite relieved that for the most part they were unharmed and the person who had wronged them in such a way had been rightly dealt with.

"Hmm. If you say so. I'll have to thank that assassin. Where is he now?" the teal-haired man asked, figuring the boy would still be around somewhere. Pulling his hand away from Nasira, he scanned the immediate area, hoping to locate the lad. But, his search was interrupted by Bakura.

"He's gone," the boy said. More importantly, he had remembered his and Nasira's arrival to this place, and was thereby brought back to an earlier train of thought. "But forget that. Did we just see you guys share powers?"

Nasira nodded her agreement to this boy's assumption that the red haired lad was gone. "He disappeared right after we found the pair of you. Actually, I was mid-sentence when he vanished." she said. Apparently more perturbed by this lad's disappearing act than she'd been by the beating she received at the hands of the dead interrogator. Beyond this point, it was apparently now a topic of discussion that they breach the issue of the shared Djinn Equips between Yasmin and Fudo. Yasmin thought about it for a second and shrugged, she had no proper explanation for what had happened but their sharing of the Djinn and simultaneous Djinn Equip was a thing even if she couldn't properly explain why it happened.

"Um, yes. I suppose, that would be a decent summary. Though, I am not quite sure about it myself... it kind of just happened that way." she said looking to Fudo who had been the one to initiate it the first time, then as her eyes darted around this place she remembered that it likely wasn't good that they all just stand around discussing the powers that they'd apparently developed, and beyond that felt that it would be more useful if they at least had one of the three Magi handy to try and better explain what was happening when such a thing was done. "But even more important than that, how about we get out of here, before reinforcements arrive or anything else happens." she said as she began moving towards the nearest wall and heading for the area outside the palace as she was quite familiar with the layout of this city and would apparently have no problem getting them back to the place they'd come from rather quickly.

Fudo hardly had a way to explain how their shared Djinn Equip functioned. In fact, he had initiated it on a gamble, not knowing if it would even work initially. Regardless of his intention to explain this, it was brought to his attention by Yasmin that they were best off leaving the palace now. So, with a nod, he followed suit. Bakura did so as well, though he did not intend to let this matter sit for long. He now wondered if such a thing were possible with Household Vessels as well...

Meanwhile, it seemed the throne room remained intact. Upon the throne sat the present king of Reim, Sorio himself. The elderly man sat in wait for the return of his resident Magi with a grin on his face. "I never thought I would live to see the day a Magi ran away from some young'uns. Either way, this settles things. Dio!" The king's call brought forth the very same blonde man that had captured Bakura and Nasira. When he approached, he took a knee before the old man, awaiting his order. "Inform the troops! On this day, that wench from Artemyra committed an unforgivable atrocity by sending spies to infiltrate my palace! I hereby declare war against Artemyra!"

Soon enough the foursome would find themselves back inside the dwelling they'd so recently made their own. Now back out of sight and with all of their friends mostly intact they could continue their conversation without there being much strain on anyone.

Meanwhile the black haired female Magi stepped out from behind the throne currently occupied by Reim's current King. She couldn't help but scoff at his words as she waited beside him for his order to be delivered to the rather large blonde man now kneeling at his feet. Once it had been she spoke with her red eyes trained on this individual as the order was given. "I didn't run, I was simply shocked by the amount of power they seem to possess. I dare say they'd give any run of the mill sorcerer a swift death with power like that. And I felt it prudent not to reveal my entire hand at once." she said as if this was a fitting explanation. Her eyes would narrow just a bit as the looked at the old man to her side, as if she was thinking something less than charitable about him, but just as soon as this look would appear on her face, it would disappear. "They are a delightful pair, I'll have them in my own time." she finished this statement as if the the pair of dungeon capturers were less to her than the man sitting beside her, but this apparently wasn't really the case. 'It isn't as if I need to worry, what with you doing my bidding, I'll simply install them here after you've lived out your usefulness.' as she finished this thought a smile most wicked spread across her face and the shadow of a greater evil seemed to lurk behind her.

"Right away, Your Majesty," the man replied before making his exit of the throne room. He would indeed inform the royal army of this impending war, but after doing so, he vacated the palace.

Some time later, Malik and the others were dismissed from Makarov's training session. Malik returned to the villa with his sword slung over his left shoulder, looking like he had received quite a bit of exercise over the course of the day. "Yeesh! Gramps isn't playing any games lately. He's really bent on building you up. Think you'll be alright?" he asked while looking over his shoulder, where he thought Shadiya to be.

At the villa, Shadiya was following behind Malik the boy she'd been training with, and she seemed to be completely out of it. In fact, if someone looked at her right now they would see the apparent anguish the day's training had caused her, she looked to be dead on her feet. "I'll be fine." she managed. She was determined enough that she could appreciate her training, even if her body didn't fully agree with all that she was doing in so short a time period. "Is it normal to feel like you're dying? I need to feel like this is normal..." she said as she staggered inside practically leaning against the wall for the support she didn't think her small body would be able to afford itself. This entire thing was kind of funny when she thought about it, and after her statement she laughed just a bit, seeming to retain her sense of humor even though her body was tired.
