A thousand years, Kazuhiko had lived, and in that time, he'd met no one who didn't like dessert. "That seems like quite the accomplishment. Of course, I've also never met anyone who actually didn't like sweets. Plenty who can't eat them for health reasons, but not any who just don't like sweets in general," Ai said. It was a rather odd thing to consider, but perhaps there was some reason to make sweets so prolific. She'd look into it, if she remembered. Before that though, she'd be taking a bit extra directly from the side of Kazuhiko's face, and much to her own satisfaction, he managed to be shocked and sheepish, though not for very long on the first count. "Ehehe~ " she had a little devious chuckle. The truth of the matter was that she'd also found herself far too comfortable on this particular date, she'd expected to have to do a bit more adjusting but, found Kazuhiko as easy to talk to as one of her other besties or even Solomon himself. "You're quite welcome. I am happy to have you along, and thank you... for not making this a totally weird experience for me," she mentioned finishing up her own dessert in the next moment as well. It'd been quite the good thing but she was preparing for something particularly special, and when she rose she was looking towards the Ferris Wheel, knowing it was going on what should have been its final ride with the people who were gathering in line. A show of fireworks was also planned for this one so she stood and motioned over to the Ferris Wheel with her head. "Come on, we have one more major event to do, and... I actually have to give you those spoilers~" she mused happily. With that whenever he was ready, they'd take off for the Ferris Wheel and await their final 'ride' of the night.
Apparently, Atsushi had done a lot of research on Osaka and came to the conclusion that it was a worse place for crime than Tokyo. His mother for all her words seemed to think it odd, but... her new husband at least had a bit of reason to speak to the children. According to him, they should be fine, so long as they respected curfew. "Hai hai, I do respect curfew." Rin said with a comfortable nod. Of course, that fact was one thing, the fact that Mia hadn't figured out how to weasel her way into grandchildren without giving up her condition for her son's independence was another matter entirely. It became an all consuming thought, so much that several things of importants were erased for a moment or two. "I... said all I have to say for now," Mia followed up. She wouldn't be giving ground in this moment and the cheeky smirk on Atsushi's face wasn't missed by Rin either. Well, some battles had to be decisive. Ah, but at the mention of a room for Atsushi, a pause came from her father, 'A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS!' Rin thought. "Wait what's a predicament?" asked Mia, which made Rin give a bit of a sideways glance to Atsuhi before she spoke. "Ah, I happen to have noticed that I currently have a second bed, and boxes in my room labeled, 'Sushi'." Rin mentioned tentatively. Of course, it took a few seconds longer for Mia's brain to turn fully but when it did she was standing up again immediately. "YOU TWO ABSOLUTELY CANNOT SHARE A ROOM!" she exclaimed, which made Rin h old her hands up in surrender. "That's a really strong reaction considering, these boxes were in the room together when you assumed I was a younger girl," Rin thought aloud. "Of course that was fine, a little girl isn't a threat. She's a kid, there's boundaries, you two are the same age and step-siblings. This is an invitation to one of those common fantasies floating around today!" Mia exclaimed. While her point wasn't one which was completely moot, it was for an entirely different reason now. This was going to be a thing, and Rin knew it by the way this woman was so devoted to her son, regardless, at least one night would be spent with them sharing a room and it'd likely be more than that without a true push for separation.
