It was generally accepted that Anya was an awesome name. Each of the girl's parents seemed to think so. More importantly, it was a name Anya herself was happy with. Kazu didn't care about all the extra details, the meaning of names and how it interacted magically with the world around her. All that mattered was the name, and whatever it meant to the girl in question. "Totsuka Anya. That makes sense. You look like your mom," he said to the girl.

Kazu thought that perhaps, at some point, his would be the surname applied to one of the children. Two of the offspring produced since the group's return to Gaia had been named, and two carried the name of their mothers. He wasn't very bothered about that, but it was a curiosity and... perhaps a hopeful thought. His magic may have been strong, but physical genes obviously weren't carrying over very well. No matter. "Welcome to the family, Anya. Is there anything you want to do with the start of your life?" he asked. "The rest of us are shopping for clothes and playing card games today. What do you want to do?"

Anya's name was accepted and it would seem she was pleased. What was more, after she finished her own naming process, her father commented upon the choice, claiming that she did look like her mother. She thought about it, and given she was pink and her mother was also pink that made sense. Her surname was given before now, she simply knew it, her first name though was something different. As far she could tell, this group was quite fond of it... well her parents and a few of the other women. Even so, she found herself looking at her father and trying to process his feelings surrounding surnames and how many of his children didn't have them. She found herself reaching up to pat the side of his face. It wasn't her, but someone had to do it. Then she was asked a rather daunting question. What did she want to do on this first day of her life. Shopping and the like were apparently in order, but what did she want. She found herself looking towards Soma. "I want to see stuff. And try candy and hang out with him!" she said pointing to Soma directly. It would seem her choices were pretty solid.

"Sounds like a kid to me," Chika said not having a problem with anything this little girl wanted to do. Miko finally allowed her eyes to shift away from Kazuhiko and Soma came into her line of sight and her brows furrowed immediately. "Sou ka, I hadn't really looked before," is what she said aloud. 'HE'S HOT! Like Seigen but aggressive. I wonder how...' she thought but before that line of thought could get too far out of control. "Box it," and while Anya was listening to people's thoughts, that sudden cut off caught her attention again. She found herself outwardly showing confusion at Miko's mind's processes. She didn't understand why her thoughts just suddenly stopped, but she didn't act like she caught her snooping. "Oya? Making friends already~" Kaguya said, but which child was she talking to, either, or both? Well given what Kaguya was like it would have been either.

Anya was a toddler with two whole worlds ahead of her. It was strange. Kazu had seen and heard of three children borne of his own seed before this, but something felt especially normal about this one. He felt the innate desire to protect without any provocation or necessity, but also felt the need to offer a bit of freedom. With said freedom, Anya had a short list of things she wanted to do. Seeing things was normal for anyone ─ certainly any child of Kazuhiko's. Trying candy was especially normal for children. Hanging out with Kaguya's son was the only oddity he couldn't wholly quantify. 'Is this the phase? Is she thinking about boys already?! No, it's way too early for that. Nothing to worry about,' he thought. "Alright, yeah. Sounds awesome. If he wants, you guys can do whatever you want."

In the meantime, Soma's attention was being divided. One person in this group had eyes on him for a new reason. That brief stare was enough to attract his gaze and curiosity. Perhaps this was another target? There was a ton of potential to draw out. "Find something interesting?" he asked. Speaking of things asked, Kaguya questioned the making of friends, whether the target of said question was Soma or that recently-named child. There were a few answers for a question like that. "As always, that depends on your outlook," he answered.

Anya was a girl with two worlds ahead of her, but she was still just a kid who wanted to do childish things. Among those strangely was keeping the secret of her full mental capabilities while meeting new people. Soma was the target, mostly because he'd been the first to figure out her abilities. She had no reason to make assumptions but her childish intuition said he was trustworthy. Whatever the case, proximity made it so that Kazuhiko's thoughts were most prominent and she was soon staring her eyes going wide as he thought of her interest in boys. He also immediately soothed himself with the idea of her being young. Should she be interested in Soma? Well... the thoughts that crossed Miko's mind said yes. She supposed she'd be figuring that out. "Hai!" the girl said her hands up in the air. She'd be having candy today and keeping her promises, all was well. She could also figure out what was going on with the 'grown-ups' as she saw them.

In the meantime, Soma noticed the attention being pushed his away. Miko gave consideration to how to answer his question but settled. Did she find something interesting? The simple answer was... "Yes, very interesting..." she stated honestly. "You look a lot like someone else I know... but considering I literally saw you come together, that doesn't really make sense..." Miko mused her eyes hadn't shifted again. She'd planned to box those thoughts with the purpose of not becoming distracted, but that box only began to grow as she considered all the things she could do. Kaguya had something to say to her son his response was one which made her chuckle. "Hai, I suppose that is the case... careful though, some people's definition of friendship is markedly different than advertised~" she said in a teasing manner. "I am standing right here," Miko huffed. 'Don't act like we wouldn't fuck both of you!' the aggression in Miko's thoughts was present as she shifted her gaze to Kaguya who, shivered a little. "Ara, there you are, Mi-chan!~" she said seemingly pleased to be finding herself being glared at like that. There were many things to do this day and it would take quite a bit of time to work it all out. At that moment Kei would finally have something to say, "Is everyone good now? Anymore babies need making at this very moment?" she wondered over the state of their day with so many new editions. And while interested and happy for all the new people she began to wonder over the logistics of keeping so many people in such a tiny house.

Soma had been made curious. This brunette had a lot going for her. Moreover, she apparently did have some type of interest in Soma himself. What sort was it? Well, that wasn't entirely clear yet, but some ideas were present. It seemed he reminded her of someone in a way that didn't make sense. Soma could have no idea who she was talking about, or how he was similar to this person. He did, however, know an opening when he saw one. "Is that to say you're looking to find out?" he asked initially. Kaguya chimed in, claiming some people had different definitions to the term 'friendship'. He was very much aware of that. Soon, everyone involved would know. "I know. I'm one of those people," he replied clearly. "I'll keep it straight. I'm looking for a select group of friends who probably don't meet any normal criteria. Maybe some of them will come from this room."

In due time, Kei finally spoke on a matter Marisbury had been meaning to address. Before anyone had the opportunity to answer her question, Marisbury cleared his throat and spoke. "I'm going to interject and advise against that. Consecutive births of this caliber is already riding a fine line. The point of my appearance today was to help you all manage the number of pregnancies here without tearing a hole in the world. I'd say only one more can be managed right now, but it would have to be approached with a great deal of care," he advised. While those words were being shared, Kazu was gently placing Anya on the floor. He placed a hand atop the girl's head, ruffling her hair just a bit while standing. "I like the part that implies getting to the card games sooner. Anyone new is going to need a deck and run-down though, so it's anyone's call," he said.

Soma's curiosity was something which was acknowledged by Kaguya. Of course, he would be interested, but the kinds of interest being displayed here were potentially very different. Ah, but some things were going to have to be said for that to be clear. Miko implied at least a bit that she was trying to focus some, but with new things dangling in front of her face, she wasn't going to be able to do that thing. Still Soma's words made Miko's brow raise, was she interested in finding out? The answer was unequivocally, "YES!" she confirmed. Ah, well... her mind was too many places perhaps she'd have to come back to that. According to Soma through his talks with Kaguya he was looking for an odd group for some specific goal. And he fully acknowledged himself as a person seeking friendship in a way that wasn't classically defined as such, "Hm, well you're smart enough to make your own decisions about stuff like that. In that case trust your instincts," she said of his oddities surrounding friendship. As for the rest, a bit of clarity was granted, though not much. "Sou ka, well... this groups attracts unique types so I am sure you will eventually run into the types you are looking for. It is just day one after all, but the next generation always seems a bit ahead of the curve," she confirmed. Unlike the elder types, she was fully encouraging of this lad's experimentation and goals, even without fully understanding them.

Kei's speech was one which attracted some amount of attention, but it would be the clearing of Marisbury's throat which gave Miko pause officially. Why? Well, when he spoke her desire to listen hit its maximum, his voice was far too nice for her to ignore. In fact, once more her eyes shifted towards him. According to the man, he was here to make sure they didn't break a hole in the world while delivering all of these magical kids at once. "Alright that counts as warning," she mused but that was unrelated to the issue at hand. "Hm, well... I don't need to do anything about what is going on with me," Ai mentioned having both foresight and other stuff. "I'm almost done processing too," Angelica mentioned... of the listed group it would be Miko left. "Sou, does that mean it's me? I haven't finished one of these yet. It feels more complete than the other mes, but also really different in a way I can't explain. I was putting it in box because I was busy creating different stuff last night," Miko mentioned of her impending child. It was something that probably should be finished sooner rather than later. Moreoever Kazuhiko had something to say about decks for the others and game play introductions. "So... Mi-chan needs to finish off her little one and, we need to make three to five decks assuming that Yuuya intends to keep hanging out today?" Kaguya summarized keeping everyone on track for what today should entail before they headed out for shopping.

The answer Miko offered initially was an emphatic yes, boasting more emphasis than most could have expected. Soma quirked a brow. That may have been the type of interest he was looking for... or maybe it wasn't? Time would tell. Whatever the case, Kaguya noted that it was only the first day of his life. He was to trust his instincts, and she believed he would eventually find all he sought. It may have been the first day he lived, but that wouldn't stop Soma from seeking immediate progress toward his ultimate goal. "It is day one. But, there's a first time for everything. First breath, first sight, first day, first conquest," he listed casually.

As for the remaining pregnancies, Miko was the prime suspect. All of the women who were involved had unique cases, but hers was particularly special for quantity of sources alone. She had a single mass incubating within, but if left alone, it could be some sort of amalgamation. She'd almost managed something with it naturally. In this case, there was much to be done still. "Given the number of things swirling around in there, I would strongly suggest not leaving it all as one thing. It could easily damage or destroy your soul if you try to over-create within yourself. You might find better results from dividing and conquering. Maybe use those boxes to store parts that work exceptionally well together," he suggested. Meanwhile, Kazuhiko was grabbing what remained of his card collection. He was really breaking the proverbial bank lately. "Ehh... five decks? I might have two or three more consistent decks left in my collection. Everyone's welcome to give it a shot, but I feel like half the remaining players will end up playing with random, inconsistent decks. Nobody should have to deal with that," the lad mentioned.

Miko's emphasis wasn't likely to be immediately understood. It didn't much matter to her at the moment though... it was the sort of thing they could discuss in their own time. That quirked brow however wasn't something she missed. Whether Soma fully understood or not the direction of Miko's mind, wasn't really important, she could potentially be of use to him, but she initially had the idea to experience him instead. Well, that was also fine by her own understanding. Admittedly, Soma's lists of firsts to his mother would be heard by his mother and Miko even though the primary point of the latter's focus was now on Marisbury. A comment would escape Miko about that without hesitation, "First Conquests are great♪!~" she sang her agreement. "Oya, that's a hell of a list~" she said cheekily. 'They are having two very different conversations.' she thought which Anya now on the floor picked up on. She'd been having her head patted before Kazuhiko wandered off and that was its own kind of comforting. She was now however curious about the difference in conversations being had by Soma and Miko and found herself looking at him curiously.

Meanwhile, Miko was being given the advice to divide and conquer. Given her own happiness about conquering that sounded about right but Marisbury was apparently interested in the idea of her separating all of the things within her current little one and boxing them up to only keep things that worked well together within. "Hai hai, I've been warned about breaking myself in some odd processes. I'm trying not to think about it too actively," she stated quickly, once again trying to keep a certain box closed for the sake of properly progressing past her own distracted state. Still... "I can work on a single active box if I drown out everything else," she stated. If what she needed was a focus it would be most easily found if she could distract at least her hearing for a while. She could hear far too many conversations way too consistently to focus on the task at hand and it only helped stimulate her ADHD, when what she needed was a bit of OCD for organization. As for the lack of cards, Ai would be chipping in, after a quick thought about Miko's conquests, 'I think we may need an emergency meeting about Mi-tan again,' she thought only before mentioning something of importance. "We are headed to a card shop at the end of regular shopping. And there is no need to worry over the number of decks... the potential strategies of a few are vastly different than what one might think, they'll have enough~" she said in an almost cheeky way. And with that everyone who already had decks moved towards the table again, willing to help with explanations and deck building strategies. Anya would continue looking up, she could hear everyone's thoughts surrounding this game and she wanted to play too. Sena had moved as well, willing to learn this new thing.

Two separate conversations may have been overlapping a bit, but that overlap was stronger than some may have thought. Soma was a very open individual. He had a goal for this life, and it was powerful enough to strive for at any cost to himself. What was even the use of his body, if it meant a potential 'in' with a worthwhile individual down the line? That couldn't even be called a sacrifice of anything but time. "It's not even half of the list. The number of things I listed reflects the number I intend to reach within the week," he stated. Using this group as a baseline and factoring in extraordinary abilities among them, he figured four underlings would be a viable number. Whether that held firm or not, he'd find out eventually. "Maybe I'll even take applications~"

While Soma mulled over that thought and shifted his gaze to meet that of the pink-haired child, Marisbury stepped closer to Miko. She did indeed require a great deal of focus. Figuring he could offer assistance, he cupped either side of her head with both hands, pressing his forehead against hers. "I know the problem you're having. It's more common and purposeful than you might think. Here; this will help," he said. The 'disorders' Iino Miko had been diagnosed with in this world were no such thing to those who understood them. Whatever focus she acquired could be achieved with a medium, which someone like Marisbury would have used the 'child' itself for. In this case, he connected his soul to Miko's to become said medium instead. While that was established, Ai commented on the would-be decks of remaining participants. Kazuhiko knew now that she was clairvoyant, but he also knew another fact. "Well there's no way those can be finished with the cards I've got. Not the ones I've got with me, anyway ─ and I'm not opening that new box until Sakura's back."

Apparently Soma's list was limited compared to what it was in actuality. His current list was simply his goal for his first week of life. "Sou ka, well... better than procrastinating~" she said with a hint of teasing in her voice. Of course that was a jab at Miko who cut her eyes in the other girl's direction all while she smiled and laughed internally. At the same time, Soma spoke of potentially taking applications for his endeavor, whatever that actually was, and given the sheer number of people he'd end up in contact with... "That isn't actually a bad idea~" Kaguya mused, besides that volunteers were usually very interesting people.

Soon enough though, Marisbury was taking a step closer to Miko. She did have an issue in this world and several diagnosed disorders of her mentality. Of course, they were understood magically very differently but so far as she was concerned now, they were only keeping her from being able to find the proper form of concentration. Hands were soon on the side of her face and Marisbury's forehead was pressed against her own. The immediate reddening of her face was something which happened but with less skittishness than previously shown after having already deal with Marisbury in a very personal way. "Well that makes me feel a bit better," Miko admitted. Sometimes having a mind that worked in a way you couldn't explain to other people was very difficult. But with that contact, and an offering from Marisbury, focus could be achieved. And in that moment the world became quiet in that, quiet Miko could finally concentrate on the sound of that 'child' she was so easily putting together. For her this process was more easily described as creating something harmonious. A box was created specifically for her... and then several more for things that didn't resonate. Miko would be consciously adding things that felt right to that core and placing the other things from the amalgamation into differently labeled boxes, without all the distractions she'd previously been dealing with, "Sou ka, that's much better. Arigatou Mari-sa♪~" she thanked him as she began working at maximum efficiency for the first time since her early childhood. All the while, Anya's attention had shifted and the sudden speed of Miko's thoughts threw her off a bit, it was only truly noticable by her swirling irises. At the same time Kazuhiko's words would be heard by Ai and she'd only smile, "Hai hai, no worries Kazu-tan~" she said without details. Her thoughts and knowledge did include the knowledge about his desire to only progress a certain way once Sakura returned. It was accounted for by what she said.
