Luck. Perhaps Shirogane Miyuki needed something like that. He was fully aware what the potential implications of Miko's words were. He didn't seem to take any offense, as indeed they had only properly met today. Still, his fiancée's best friend couldn't be allowed to keep such an opinion of him. Miyuki should try sharing his exciting side a bit more, maybe through the game they were currently playing. He settled their exchange with a thumbs-up gesture before another battle began between the Players.

Miko argued that facts were compliments. They certainly could be, and Yugi wouldn't even consider it much of a stretch. On the other hand, a contrarian within Miko was rearing its head; she was surely prepared to argue before even catching his point. "Facts can be compliments. That's not the point. You weren't dared to give compliments; you were dared to say one positive about everyone. That was two things, neither one positive. Drink," he reiterated without much concern at all. It didn't matter regardless, as it seemed Miko was prepared to take a shot either way. She took the time to inspect the drink, only to eventually down it in a gulp. There was an obvious reaction much like what Yugi himself had been through earlier, albeit with an added swear less common to the lass. "Easy going there! It's top shelf, strong stuff~" Miyuki asserted. His warning may have come a bit late, but she'd agreed to the drinking game. As Miyuki reached over to refill her glass, Yugi was watching the girl's rear jut out in his direction. As Miyuki saw things, it seemed she would just need a minute. "I'm sure that'll be fine. Your turn now~" he said to Kaguya.

Miko wished Miyuki luck and he seemed to take it well. Aside from not being exciting nor standing out, she couldn't say she had a problem with him. He hit her radar neutrally, some could say personality wise that there was an issue with fence-sitting but that didn't mean that Miko was judging. She was a person who kept her inside thoughts inside and only let herself be unbothered and weird within her safe-spaces, she couldn't and wouldn't judge someone for protecting themselves. Speaking of protecting the self, Miko often went quite far to do that thing and even now her contrarian nature had Yugi arguing with her about the nature of positive statements versus, compliments. "They are the same thing, and you're literally arguing semantics. Who made you the fucking syntax police?♪~" Miko chirped argumentatively. The whole time Kaguya was laughing.

It was obvious to her by the way this girl spoke to the young man called her boyfriend that she liked him quite a lot. Not just for flirty or sexy stuff, but for general reasons. She was so comfortable being argumentative, not hiding aggression or oddity at every turn, it was almost cute to see. Ah, but that wasn't all... no soon she was drinking, swearing more and pointing her butt at the other lad. It was also soon Kaguya's turn. She grinned, looking to Miko with devious light playing in her eyes. "Truth or Dare, Mi-chan♥~" Kaguya asserted. Miko looked up, propping herself up on her hands and leaving her rear up in the air for a moment while she studied Kaguya's face and processed her tone. "It's a fucking trap..." she murmured so softly. Still, she wouldn't be abandoning her plan at all. "Truth..." she asserted her eyes narrowing. There wasn't much Kaguya didn't know about Miko. Now she was sure she knew everything including her biggest secret so surely she wouldn't be outing her. And true enough, Kaguya wasn't out to make Miko's life more difficult or make her confess her secret identity. No, she was simply here to make her drink more and see what a few did to the girl. "What's the weirdest thing you've for a person you like, that they don't know about?" she questioned, there was knowing light in Kaguya's eyes. And Miko's widened. She supposed that meant that she knew... and if she knew then that would be a whole deal. Miko would calmly sit herself up right take a deep breath open her mouth and reach for her shot glass. It'd already been refilled and she was simply going to take the drink. Ever so righteously did she pick up that cup and sling it straight to the back of her throat. No coughing or hesitation. A simple act of pure defiance. "I refuse. Drank my penalty is it my turn then?" she asked moving right past everything concerning that particular question.

Miko, who was arguing semantics herself, accused Yugi of doing the same. He found it interesting that she'd do such a thing while leaving her ass exposed to him, concealed only by clothing that he could easily do away with in a moment. If not for the greater game he was playing and the limitations of current company, he probably would have taken advantage of that. Instead... he'd keep the argument going. Who made him the syntax police? Miko wondered. "Isn't it obvious? I attended the notorious academy of Fuck You. Graduated top of my class in under a year. I'm like the Kumori Raizen of bullshit that you can't really argue against♥~" he said teasingly. By then, Kaguya wasn't the only one laughing at the pair's antics; even Miyuki had a genuine chuckle going. "They really must have been going for a really long time," he commented.

It was now Kaguya's turn to choose a target. She chose Miko, much to Yugi's interest. He imagined her goal was to force the other girl to drink, likely with a dare that couldn't be done or a truth that couldn't be shared. Lo and behold, that was exactly the decision. With the choice of truth, her task was to admit something ─ namely the strangest thing secret kindness she'd done for another person. If it was something that person didn't know, Miko definitely wouldn't tell the story. Indeed... she'd be drinking again already, only a single turn after the first drink. "Trap inside the trap. That's hot," Yugi observed, certain Kaguya had a way to force that drink regardless of Miko's choice. As for Miyuki, he looked very quizzical while extending the bottle to pour Miko's third glass. "Well now I'm really curious what that thing could be. That was a really strong effort to avoid telling everyone," he said. To Miko, he had an answer. "Yep; your turn. Nobody can argue once the drink has been drank~"

Miko and Yugi seemed at base to argue quite a lot. Kaguya had been around them together for a short amount of time, and even their flirts seemed to have a certain amount of aggression and competitiveness applied. It was an interesting way for a friendship to exist she thought, but also one she appreciated seeing. Speaking of seeing said friendship in action, Yugi was arguing semantics with Miko in the most interesting way. By the time he finishing his tirade the girl was sitting with her nose turned up. "Uh-huh♪~ Careful the names you invoke, I'll show you something I won't argue with♪~" Miko said with teasing curtness, her tongue sticking out. Well, she would have stood her ground on this except she heard it. A genuine chuckle escaped Miyuki's lips as he viewed their playful argument. Her eyes shifted... "Sou ka... not bad," she murmured quietly a mostly unspoken observation.

Still there was the matter of a trap within a trap. Even Miko realized it already. "It's not hot, she's an invasive species!" Miko asserted pointing at Kaguya. Still, the girl remained smiling. "Oya? Gonna do something about it, Mi-chan♥?~" Ah but this was friendship. It was two people who knew each other well enough and knew how they worked. A drink down and that heat in Miko's belly was spreading into tingles in various parts of her body. Now upright she was wiggling in place as if she felt suddenly antsy. Still, she was looking at her friend knowing it was her turn, Kaguya also knew it, but she wondered which way play should go. Kaguya would most often pick dares to avoid talking about herself, but Miko knew her a bit too well for the choice of dare to be a good one. Still Miko could be trusted to not make Kaguya out herself or anything like that so truth was a viable option if Miko chose her. Before anything was mentioned Miko looked to Miyuki in absolute seriousness, "Stay curious forever," she said simply her own way of stating she had no intention of sharing that information. "Truth or Dare, Kaya♪!~" Miko chirped looking at the other girl a flash of something just a little bit dangerous in Miko's eyes, that narrowed just a little as if daring Kaguya to choose. If traps were being laid, Miko wouldn't be the only one caught. No... everyone was now free game starting witht he one who'd trapped her first. "Oya? Feeling retaliatory today, Mi-chan? Truth♥~" Kaguya decided. Normally she would have taken a dare but... there was something about Miko which made her want to take a softer route. "What is the one idea from childhood you never let go of, even if it's utterly ridiculous and impossible?" Miko asked of the girl. Such a simple question but the truth of it was a bit complicated. She knew that Kaguya wouldn't have confessed the truth of her childish wishes to anyone, even something impossible wasn't something she'd let go of. Whimsy existed and it remained in Kaguya for the full length of time, Miko had known her... so what would she do. Kaguya's facial expression cracked just a bit as she found herself in the same situation as Miko, not wanting to admit in front of her fiance that she was holding onto something so childish. "Ooh, Mi-chan's gone savage♥~" Kaguya deflected reaching for her drink and downing it instead of saying anything about the other thing. "Aaah♥~" she said after she finished it, "Kiriya-kun♥~ Seems like it's your turn♥~" Kaguya mentioned bowing out with just a bit of grace, as flexible and resilient as she was... she still had no intention of revealing the one thing she was truly firm about.

"Mm. We'll pretend that makes sense," Yugi said, deciding not to argue about the threat Miko had just thrown together. He wanted to, and he nearly did... but he had more interest in progressing the game at hand. Speaking of that game, one particular retaliatory statement from Kaguya had him sighing internally. There was a mention of a war earlier that should have been saved for the present; it would have held up better in an argument. "Should have made another rule," he suggested without any further detail. Miyuki figured those words were for him, but he didn't catch the lad's meaning... until Kaguya was questioned next. "Ah..."

Miyuki grabbed his own glass before putting the bottle down, moving it closer to Yugi to tap his arm with it. Once Yugi's attention was grabbed, he looked in the blonde's direction and saw... a suggested toast. "Not much else, right?" Miyuki asked. "Hm," Yugi grumbled. A nonchalant clink of glasses preceded each male taking a shot. From there, Miyuki would be filling... four glasses consecutively, as Kaguya also quickly bowed out from a truth. Whatever secret was held in her childhood, it was Yugi's turn once again. He looked forward. Kaguya was questionable. He looked left. Miyuki would continue treating the game as an ice-breaker by choosing truth. He looked forward again. Choosing Kaguya a second time consecutively would be a bit too pointed. Then... he looked to his right. "Drink," he said. "That's my turn."

Apparently, Miko's words didn't make sense, or at least that was how she could interpret Yugi's response. "It might make more sense later..." Miko asserted. There were quite a few things she wouldn't argue with and anything truly like Kumori Raizen was one of them. She had a pretty long list of fantasy hook-ups and historical figure bodies to catch which was part of her obsession with Otome games in general. But that didn't matter, as Yugi discussed a rule which should have been put in place, "No♪~ Truth or consequences♪~" Miko chirped. "Agreed to the name 'Team Vengeance' probably should have expected this♥~" Kaguya said, but still she didn't seem anything more than a little amused. The fact that Miko gave her a question to answer like that also meant something odd, if Kaguya answered hers, Miko would answer hers... such was the nature of that girl. Kaguya understood this. In her own mind, Miko wouldn't be the only one targeted by curiosity. If Kaguya wanted her to drink she would drink too... that was fair. Miko would put herself out there, as much as everyone else did, such was how she functioned as a being.

Ah, but it also did quite a bit for the dynamic of the game. Technically speaking, Miko's overall approach could be considered fair. She'd attacked both other players, in that little thing they'd called a war, she'd only retaliated in kind to what was presented to her... such was a good natured response. Still there was Yugi obviously thinking... Miko had gotten used to him and knew she should have been on the chopping block, given his lack of interest in Miyuki and an inability to continue questioning or daring Kaguya without it rousing suspicion. Obviously the best choice for the brainy sort would be to attack his own partner after that shared drink. It wouldn't be the first time he tossed her to the wolves... or perhaps the first time it was a slime. "I knew you were going to do that, I hate when I'm right about being targeted♪~" Miko chirped. Still, he said for her to drink that wasn't a dare which meant he obviously just fully intended to ask her one of the questions he figured she wouldn't answer. Just the same a recently refilled glass would be drained again. This time with less reaction though that gently swaying of her hips would continue. She'd happy keep eating her dessert as she waited for a refill. "It's starting not to burn... I shouldn't like that. Kinda do♪~" she mused seemingly beginning to feel the heat of those repeated shots settle into her gullet. Not with a cloudy mind but a looser body. "Oya, you're really committed to not outing yourself, huh?" Kaguya teased lightly as she leaned on one shoulder against the table while beginning to eat her own purin as well.

Truth or consequences was the initial retort when Yugi spoke of a new rule. It seemed both Miko and Kaguya understood where he was going with that mention. Kaguya even cited 'Team Vengeance' as evidence for the clause. "Hm," he mumbled once more. Miyuki finished pouring shots and understood exactly why he would have added a rule about retaliatory questioning. "It probably would have been a good idea. Not very good for ice-breaking when it's the two who already know each other most having a battle," the blonde observed. Yugi sighed then, as if to say everyone was on the wrong track. "Not that rule," was all he said.

Moving on from that, it seemed Miyuki would have to pour yet another drink already. While doing so, however, he seemed confused as to why that exchange happened. "That was..." Miyuki began, only to be interrupted by Yugi. "Tactical abuse. She was going to choose truth, but she would drink before answering that question from the earlier dare. I decided to skip the middle," he answered before a question came. "So how did─" Once again, Miyuki was interrupted. "Because she wouldn't take a dare from me. Except, now that I've made that obvious, she might do it in an attempt to throw me off... except I've now said that, so now... we're in chaos mode," he explained. Miyuki sat back, looking stunned. He couldn't tell if something was wrong with Yugi, or if something had gone very right with him. Things would only get weirder from there. "It's your turn, by the way. I choose dare. And your next line is: 'Kiriya-kun, I dare you to choose the next person to give a dare.' In that case, I dare you to adopt the dare of anyone else for the rest of the game ─ or face the punishment, independent of which thing they choose," he said. Already stunned silent, Miyuki found himself looking toward Miko... as though wondering if she was truly alright in life. "No, she's not alright, and neither is anyone else here. I told you I'm winning. It's Shinomiya's turn again unless anyone else has questions."

Kaguya and Miko did indeed know each other well enough to completely overtake a normal game of truth or dare. Even so, neither would have directly taken on such a thing without having a really good reason. For the most part, the rule about retaliation was mostly unnecessary, for that pair doing so was just two people checking each other's nonsense. Yugi claimed that wasn't even his point when stating a rule should have been made much to the confusion of all. To Miko and Kaguya's credit, both simply began running through ideas of what the rule could be.

Ah, but confusion would be spreading as Yugi and Miko's interactions lead to the girl taking another drink, which he called tactical abuse. Miko took her drink and while she indulged in dessert got to listn to Yugi, pontificate. Rather he was flexing his big sexy brain all over the room and Miko was wiggling in her seat as she listened. How he came to his conclusions. How he'd decided to skip the middle man with her. How he knew her brain to be so very spastic that he couldn't be sure how she'd react now that he'd mentioned understanding how her mind was working. Miko and Kaguya both got to watch as Yugi dismantled every argument and came up with a dare that was, at worst dastardly and at best an opening to exploit any time he felt like it. Miko could be found lightly salivating, and Kaguya turned her eyes away as well. Though Miyuki was looking towards her wondering if she was actually alright in their relationship, she was staring at Yugi wiggling in her seat. "I don't have a question but goddamn that was hot♪!~" Miko chirped as she wiggled in her seat. Maybe it was the alcohol or maybe she really did just enjoy listening to that man talk, regardless there was something quite pleased about the way she reacted. Soon after Kaguya was busy, applying herself evenly around the table. "Oya, I'm kinda scared to go now... wouldn't want to get my brain picked apart in an instant or anything... now I have to be careful♥!~" she said in a teasing manner. But Kaguya wasn't a careful person, she was impulsive, and it was only logical for her to choose one of the others and with her and Miko locked into a battle of attrition and Yugi showing himself to be a powerful mental opponent, she'd chose the best one answer to solve her problems. "Miyuki, truth or dare?♥~" she asked willing to skip past the the obvious landmines.

Miyuki wouldn't be recovering anytime soon after having his brain flawlessly dismantled and used as a segue for Yugi's points. At the other end of that exchange, Yugi finally put a spoon to his plate, initially using it just to toy with the purin. He knew it wouldn't be his turn just yet ─ not after that recent display. No, Kaguya would undoubtedly break the established wheel by taking the path of least resistance. Before that, however, Miko openly shared her opinion about the lad's speech, earning a fixed gaze in her direction. He didn't say anything, but his head returned to its previous position as he flashed her a sly wink. The real game was on now; Yugi just had to play it at its own pace.

"It was... definitely something. Kiriya-kun, you're going to be a very sought-after asset if you awaken. Maybe even if you don't," Miyuki observed when he finally settled. Ah, but it was Miyuki's turn now, according to Kaguya. He took a second to think. When his lips finally moved, Yugi's did so in conjunction. Both mouths formed the same word, but only Miyuki's had the accompanying speech. "I'll go with dare," he said. Yugi figured as much. After the idea of being a bore settled, Miyuki was sure to be a bit more daring ─ quite literally by accepting dares. Yugi kept toying with his dessert, thinking ahead to the next time he thought relevance would come his way. It wouldn't be long now, he decided.

Miko and Yugi both watched casually as Miyuki spent a great deal of time trying to recover himself. It would seem that it took quite a few minutes and Kaguya was properly speaking before he came to again. And in that time, Yugi picked up his spoon and returned his glare towards Miko, giving her a sly wink which truly made her happy inside. 'I'm not one for glaring kinks, but I do like when he looks at me♪~' Miko decided mentally. Beyond that there was the matter of Kaguya and her dare, she'd be giving one soon enough but Miko found something very interesting in the long term of the other girl. She wasn't willing to out herself, but Miko hadn't asked the question she had just to out the other girl. No, she was being helpful in her own way, knowing what she did about the way routes seemed to work so far, she thought Kaguya revealing her almost obsessive desire could only help her bond with Yugi better. Oh well, she figured Yugi would bring it up again when it felt right.

Speaking of things that might feel right, Kaguya's brain was turning several ticks. She wanted in the moment for Miyuki to show himself as a fun guy. He wasn't boring he was just good as far as Kaguya was concerned. She spent her entire life around questionable people with questionable motivations, so Miyuki hadn't been that. That didn't mean he wasn't fun though... in the moment she figured he'd ask for a dare, simply because he'd been deduced down to being boring or simple in some way. As such she had one to turn the tables just a bit, or rather, to bomb everyone and give her the opportunity to observe. "I dare you, to kiss Kiriya-kun. None of that simple peck stuff either, a full blow make-out. Tongue and all♥~" Kaguya said. She'd droppd a bomb in the middle of this game, but Miko had looked up from her purin with sparkling eyes. She figured that Yugi would object but her initial response was one of seemingly intense interest, 'BL' was hard to come by in a way she didn't mind seeing it. "Ooh♪ Going BL today?♪~" Miko chirped while her interest was painted so obviously on her face it likely could have been seen from space. "Eheheheheahaha♥~ Goddamn hold back a little♥~" Kaguya uttered.
