Hikage is a pale skin girl with medium length green hair and amber eyes in a furtive or feral glance and an emotionless expression. She tends to stick her tongue out when on the prowl. She wears a dingy torn up yellow and black striped shirt with a snake patterned and black frill trim that is very short, stopping at the bust line, showing a lot of cleavage. Because of this, it can only properly cover one of her shoulders. She has thin necklaces around her neck, and black leather constricts going down her arms and legs, she uses a similar one to carry her grimoire. Her blue jeans have gashes and rips. The zipper is down and the belt unbuckled, with leather constricts below the knees and a red snake pattern on the left thigh. She has snake tattoos on her left hip, shoulder and breast.

- Hikage is named after a friend of hers who took care of her when she was younger. Her name means something opposite of Sunshine which is 'in the sun's shadow'.
- The tattoos Hikage has are all places her mentor was stabbed when she was found dead, Hikage does this to honor her.
- Though generally emotionless, a good fight seems to make Hikage happy.
- Hikage is somewhat feral, but will be respectful of people who are respectful of her, especially if they put up a good fight.
- The young woman has taken a strange interest in Leonis Vermillion and considers the man her rival.

Steel Magic 「鋼魔法 Hagane Mahō」 is a form of magic that allows the user to manipulate steel. This form of magic allows the user to generate and manipulate steel at will. In order to use it to its full potential, specific spells are required, which are stored within Grimoires.
Steel Magic: Blade Creation: A spell from performed from an open Grimoire which allows the creation of several short combat blades.
Steel Magic: Unlimited Blade Works: A spell performed from an open Grimoire which creates dozens and dozens of blades for the user to combat people with. The blades themselves can be aimed at targets and used as projectiles are left to float around the battle field to be used as close combat weapons, whichever appeals to Hikage more.
Creation Magic 「創成魔法 Sōsei Mahō」 is a form of magic that allows the users to create various entities, from living beings to inanimate objects. Spells from this magic require the users to use a grimoire to activate. Hikage can use this magic to create a steel animal hybrid fitting of her affinity.
Steel Creation Magic: Hagane Harinezumi (Steel Hedgehog) Hikage using her grimoire creates a single or number of hedgehogs of various sizes. These are strangely black in color with white bellies and full steel spikes covering them. They emerge from the ground as if they've been hibernating and seem to be capable of attacking on their own or doing other things. It summons one which Hikage seems to be attached to named Roll and she calls all of the other ones his copy. She uses him as an extension of her power, as a weapon and occasionally as a companion.
Reinforcement Magic 「強化魔法 Kyōka Mahō」 is a form of magic that allows the users to increase their physical abilities. This form of magic allows the users to increase their physical abilities, like strength and speed.
Predatory Reinforcement: A use of magic which Hikage isn't conscious of, she uses her Mana to reinforce her physical attributes, increasing her speed, stamina, and even her sense of smell, sight, and hearing. Using this reinforcement she is able to overpower opponents with her blades.
Abilities
Enhanced Physical Condition: Hikage is in great physical condition. She grew up poor and always had to fend for herself so she had to be physically capable of taking a beating and dishing one out. One would say she is extremely durable considering her frame.
Animal Instincts: Hikage has the instincts of a wild animal. She senses incoming danger, sizes up opponents and is merciless on the battlefield, especially when she feels people are challenging her for dominance. She is known to go with the flow whenever necessary but she never goes against negative gut feelings, leading her to immediately formulate opinions about people.

Grimoire: Hikage possesses a grimoire that contains various steel-based spells. The grimoire has a light-colored covers with intricate designs on each covers. Additionally, it has the three-leaf clover insignia on the center of the front cover.
