The main control unit reflects a projection that is the representation of the built-in interface that helps the pilot maintain the flight. Her ship uses the principals of materializing and dematerializing to travel in space. Appearance: Caitlin’s second incarnation is 162 cms tall and like her previous incarnation, has a slim figure. Differently, she has longer blonde hair and blue eyes. Her hair is wavy and she sometimes likes pulling her bangs back in the middle. This incarnation doesn’t fancy dresses, but instead skinny pants. She either accompanies them with a shirt and a sweater or a sleeveless top and a light jacket that is left open in the front. She completes her attire with suede flat shoes. Caitlin is a bit short sighted; while her vision doesn't restrict her she either uses contact lenses or glasses. Personality: Caitlin’s second incarnation is kind, caring, intelligent, brave, and has a sense of good morals, however, when she makes mistakes, she feels guilt and remorse for her actions. Due to her having previously been controlled by her own intelligence she unfortunately does not have confidence in her control and depends on the Games often. She is also short-tempered and sometimes lets her emotions get the better of her. Caitlin is also very forgiving and willing to give people several chances hoping to help, since she was in a position that required much forgiveness. Despite her good traits, she can sometimes be arrogant and self-righteous. History: Caitlin was born to a renegade Time Lady that was in her thirteenth and last incarnation, and a human in Dublin, Ireland. Her mother was involved in an unfortunate car accident two years after her birth, and being unable to regenerate she died. Her father raised her alone, intending to bring her up like a normal human girl. He didn’t reveal the girl’s roots, though Caitlin, herself, began to notice how she was different from any of her peers. She was by far more intelligent than any, being even cleverer than those that were much older than her. Being a genius, she easily went through her education at an incredible pace, always with full scholarship, and eventually graduated as a pharmacist. She started working at one of the biggest research labs at the mere age of 22. In her mid-thirties, she noticed that her aging had stopped. This was before her father passed away after revealing her origins. Having learned that, Caitlin used all of her father’s savings along with hers to open her own branch of laboratories, where it would seem like she was leading researches on advanced drugs while secretly developing unearthly technologies. She continued her researches until she made a breakthrough by inventing her own lesser version of a TARDIS (without being aware of the latter’s existence): a vessel she named “Katie” that could travel in space through materialization and dematerialization. Though the vessel was not bigger on the inside, being quite small on both dimensions in fact, and could not travel in time as Caitlin, despite having figured out ways to achieve that, didn’t have the means to put it into use. But unlike a TARDIS, “Katie” has a built-in interface that can interact with Caitlin. Special Abilities: Altered Regeneration: Caitlin discovered her regenerative abilities on her own, but never experienced it personally. Even then, she found out that her abilities would cause her to undergo a physical and mental change, which she did not like. So she altered her regeneration not to change her identity or personality while healing grievous wounds that would otherwise be fatal for her. Despite overcoming the changing nature of her regeneration, she still can regenerate only twelve times like a normal Time Lord. Biological Control: Caitlin has modified her body clock, slowing it down even further than it originally was. Intuitive Aptitude: Caitlin has the ability to understand the structure and operation of complex systems without special education or training. This is a result of Caitlin’s ability to utilize her unique ancestry that combines a line of Time Lords with a line of humans: she uses the mindset of her human predecessors while combining it with the vast intellectual capabilities handed down to her by her mother’s side and figure anything out on her own. Although this ability also creates a hunger, an obsession to understand and learn as much as possible, it is possible to control it. Skasis Paradigm Conduit: When Caitlin solved the Skasis Paradigm, she gained immense powers that allowed her to control the very building blocks of the universe and warp reality. Despite her intellect, Caitlin is shown to have lesser knowledge about the universe, due to the fact that she had spent little time exploring it. Along with the interference of the hunger of learning, her reality manipulation’s application was restricted on a smaller area. Her powers are now sealed, yet still present within her mind. Unlike her previous refined control, she can only activate the effects of her powers instinctively under great pressure. Appearance: Caitlin first incarnation is 165 cms tall and has a slim figure. Despite being 46 years old, she looks more like she is in her mid-twenties. This is due to her slowed body clock thanks to her Time Lord heritage. She has wavy brown hair and bluish-green eyes. She often likes to wear a dress, though her comfort is always a priority so she can be seen wearing a variety of combinations with clothes, ranging from a simple t-shirt and jeans to a fancy dress coupled with accessories.
Personality: Caitlin is tolerant and likes to help others, so naturally she is very active and generally warmhearted, giving her time, energy, and sympathetic understanding freely. She has somewhat of a tolerance and acceptance of the frailties of others. Being universal but also humanitarian in outlook, she tries to keep a compassionate nature. Thanks to her Time Lord heritage, Caitlin is also practically a genius, having surpassed the scientific level of Earth during her time easily as a kid and even attempted on building a TARDIS of her own.
