Deianira is generally seen wearing a huntresses clothing. It looks to be things she's made or had made for herself. Strips of leather and minute pieces of cloth meant to help her be light on her feet and undetectable by the things she hunts. Around her neck a scarf made of a silky black material which is said to be there to help her regulate her body temperature. Beyond this she wears light boots, though many comment that her clothing is revealing, she does seem to care too much as she spends a great deal of time in the wilds alone with her pets. When out among the mortals or the more normal dwellers of New Olympus she is most often seen wearing ripped jeans and t-shirts with various sayings on them which seem to appeal to her party girl or huntress nature.

- The powers of this young woman were limited by her parents at her birth...
- Because she spends half her time hunting and the other half throwing parties, Deianira often forgets how to be casual, this often leads to her doing inappropriate things in front of other people.
- Deianira enjoys being around people, as such she often throws themed parties of various sorts with her free time in New Olympus.
- Because of the way her powers work, Deianira is often left to question of people really like her, or if they are simply addicted to being in her presence.
- Lethe and Styx - are two wolf cubs which are owned by Deianira. They were given to her by Apollo after she won an archery contest among the New Olympians in her first year there, to be her hunting companions. The pup Lethe is white with blue eyes and the pup Styx is black with gold eyes. They are usually found in her company so long as she is near her house or her given hunting grounds. The pair of pups are exceedingly playful unless they are hunting in which case they grow to be about twice their normal size and attack anything which they view as prey. That being said, the tend to only attack on Deianira's orders and as such are usually harmless to the other Demigods.
Powers & Abilities
- Mark of a Huntress - Deianira is blessed by Artemis, she has a tattoo on the inside of her left wrist marking her as such. From this marking sprouts an alteration to her bow which she can use very well. Her natural talent with this particular weapon is added to by the Mark of the Huntress which allows her to shoot with perfect accuracy, never missing a target. In addition the marking provides her with other useful skills to have as a huntress including the animal communication in the form of verbal speech or telepathy, and night vision which is better than her already eagle sharp normal vision, and the ability to move lightly on her feet as if she is never touching the ground. She is also blessed with an almost preternatural ability to track down animals or beings at her leisure, noticing even the most minute of details which lead her directly to her prey with pinpoint accuracy. Deianira is also given the ability to camouflage herself while she's hunting, blending into the background or trees so that she might sneak up on prey without them being able to visually find her.
Beyond all this, the most coveted power or skill given my Artemis is her ability to manipulate moonlight, which Deianira gains specifically at night. This moonlight energy manipulation like many others has several benefits which make it the most coveted of powers received from Artemis. It allows Deianira a bit of divinity at night, as she gains the ability to hunt, heal with, and even consume the moonlight for sustenance (though the ability to heal with and consume moonlight is said to be unseen in any previous incarnations of huntress' which is why Deianira is titled 'Divine Huntress', by Artemis herself). This is seen through some feats both simple and complex, the simplest form being the creation of moonlight arrows. The creation of energy arrows instead of standard ones gives quite a few advantages the first of which being the distance they travel. Moonlight arrows are without a doubt the most powerful thing in Deianira's arsenal, as they travel far, have high penetrating power and extend the reach of her normal skills towards that which could be considered divine. Deianira has grown this ability into one which creates a rapid fire of moonlight energy capable of penetrating a multitude of targets at a time, giving her a distinct advantage in certain situations and allowing her to cull entire herds of creatures in a single go. All huntresses of Artemis gain some form of her moonlight abilities and it is said to be the most missed power when they lose it. The price for this blessing is rather steep though, it is tied to the young woman's chastity and as such it and the powers it grants her will disappear if she breaks her vow of Maidenhood.
- Radiant Bliss - Among Deianira's godly skills is a rather rare passive one. This is only seen in some of the strongest of the demigod children. Hers in particular allows her to alter the moods of those around her, causing them to feel joy as strongly she feels it. The young woman seems to bring happiness and jovial air with her wherever she goes, and it seems to be something she cannot rightfully control. The kind of joy she causes others to feel often leaves them wanting more, as bliss is a fleeting but addictive feeling. But as long as people around her are happy she seems to be strengthened in some way, able to feed a bit off the energy of happiness she causes in other people.
- Alcokinesis - Her main power she seems to have gotten from her father is the ability to create a potent and addictive alcohol from her person. She can turn any liquid into this alcohol and fill certain cup like containers even controlling the potency (to the point of making it poisonous). This alcohol seems to default to a taste of honey and fruit, but can be altered as she sees fit. It lacks the bitter sting of most human produced alcohol. Deianira can use this alcohol to many different effects including healing herself and others, curing various poisons, poisoning arrow heads, and getting others wasted. Deianira's own bodily fluids are also consist of this alcohol making her kisses addictive and making it potentially dangerous to spill her blood. She is also completely immune to the effects of mortal alcohol and her own, as a demigod though, alcohol created for or by gods can still let her reach an intoxicated state, something she only gets to truly enjoy while drinking from a cup given to her by her father.
Godly Possessions
- Ephemeral Bow Riser - As part of her Blessing from Artemis, Deianira was gifted with a riser from one of the woman's favored bows. As it is just the hand grip, arrow notch and arrow window it is basically just a bit larger than the size of one's palm and is usually just clipped to the girl's quiver. But when she holds it in her hands, she is able to make a small bow out of it. That being said the riser itself is an apparatus meant to allow the girl the ability to channel Artemis' moon based ability, doing so under the light of the moon allows the bow and its associated string to expand. The short bow alone is capable of rapid firing smaller arrows and when it is used like this the arrows conjured in her quiver are also short. But when she uses the moonlight to change it to a more powerful long bow, the length of the arrows created by her quiver grow to accompany the new size. These arrows are and the long bow itself are more useful when she hunts specifically at night. While the short bow's rapid fire function makes it easy for close combat archery from the young huntress.
- Boundless Quiver - A gift given to Deianira by Apollo the God of the Sun. This Quiver can fill itself with arrows of different types after it has one of them put into it. The quiver itself seems to adjust the size and shape of these arrows dependent upon the power the girl puts into her bow. It also comes with a special carrying capacity specifically for her small bow apparatus.
- Blade of Woe - A hunting knife created by Hephaestus for the young huntress it is actually a long curved short sword which glows with a light blue mist. When explaining the sword, Hephaestus mentioned that, "Anything this blackened blade pierces will be rendered incapable of escaping. The blade resonates with its own marks, and can point the way, that it might finish the job." This blade has become an integral part of the girl's hunting practices and is generally carried within her 'Boundless Quiver' much like she carries her bow and other objects of importance to her.
