Yoruichi Shihōin is a slender and well-endowed woman of average height. She has dark skin, golden irises, and purple hair. Her hair is waist-length and kept in a ponytail with chin-length bangs framing the sides of her face. She is generally seen wearing a short red dress with a black and gold belt and a white high collar peasant top with pockets over each breast, open several buttons down. On her left shoulder she wears a single pauldron connected to a red and white velvet cape. On her legs she wears long white and gold armored boots and her arms white and gold armored wrist guards with finger-less gloves.

Lightning Magic 「雷魔法 Kaminari Mahō」 is a form of magic that allows the users to manipulate the element of lightning. It is a derivative of Wind Magic. This form of magic allows the users to generate and manipulate lightning at will. Without the use of a Grimoire, the users are still able to use this magic. However, in order to use it to its full potential, specific spells are required, which are stored within Grimoires. Mages use lightning magic for its high speed and attack power.
Shunko: Shunko is a basic use of lightning which Yoruichi uses to coat her body. She finds being in a completely exposed state destestable so, she had a weapon created to harness the lightning in this form. In so doing, she's able to use a lightning coated blade, the boots and arm gear of her outfit to channel the basic form of her magic without having to use her whole body to do so.
Creation Magic Yoruichi can use lightning based creation magic to enhance her physical form giving her the ability to change her shape and use the Lightning element of her magic in new ways.
Shunkō: Raijin Senkei (瞬閧 雷神戦形, Flash War Cry: Thunder God War Form): With the use of her Grimoire, Yoruichi's back creates a circle of electrical energy in the shape of Raijin's drums behind her as Yoruichi unleashes a giant column of concentrated electrical energy to engulf her opponent.
Spirit Magic With the completion of a dungeon, before she even became a Magic Knight, Yoruichi was able to capture the spirit of a lightning spirit in the form of a large cat. This cat spirit seems to create its own forms of her magic, even combining with her eventually to form her ultimate battle posture. But much like Yoruichi herself the lightning cat spirit is fickle so such magic isn't easily controllable.
Shunshin Chōhengen (瞬神超変幻, Flash God Super Transformation): While Shunkō: Raijin Senkei is already activated, Yoruichi can transform her mind and body even further. This transformation can be activated remotely even against her will by the spirit of her Grimoire.
Shunkō: Raiju Senkei: Shunryū Kokubyō Senkei (瞬閧 雷獣戦形 瞬霳黒猫戦姫, Flash War Cry: Thunder Beast Battle Form: Flash God Black Cat Warrior Princess): With an open Grimoire the spirit of the cat creature appears in front of her book before enveloping Yoruichi in a column of lightning. hen the energy disappears Yoruichi has taken on the form of a hybrid of Shunkō and the feline form. Her feet become clawed cat paws, this form clads her arms and legs in electricity covering her forearms past the elbow and her legs up to her thighs, each ending with claws made of electrical energy. The energy forms her hair into the form of cat ears and she grows a tail. This form sheaths her in an aura of electrical energy. This form gives her the mentality of a cat and allows the cat nature of "fickleness" to manifest in her mana. While Yoruichi is naturally moody, she is even more so in this form; her mana is directly responsive to her changes in mood, and therefore becomes reliably unstable by changing 48 times per second. This form seems to only be controllable by one other person.
Abilities
Immense Magic Power: Though not of noble birth nor born in the Clover Kingdom, Shihoin Yoruichi retains an immense quantity of Magic Power. She can cause static around herself and others at the release of her power as well as tremendous paralyzing fear and pressure. Of course, along with this comes the ability to use powerful spells as well.
Master Swordsman: Because she generally dislikes combining with the cat spirit that inhabits her Grimoire, Yoruichi is prone to using a sword to channel the base form of her lightning abilities. Because of this she's had much time and practice using a sword. The speed of her lightning magic combined with precise use of a sword make her an almost unstoppable force with just her sword.
Immense Mana Sense: Reading the flow of magic comes easier to Yoruichi as a foreginer, she is praised as being one of the foremost sensors of magic as well as one of the fastest combatants of it. She is able to trace strong magic users across vast distances and pinpoint items of interest within dungeons without any difficulty or need for specific spells.
Immense Mana Control: Because of the fickle nature of lightning based magic, Yoruichi has developed overtime a far greater control of her mana than many others. She is known to waste very little and manages to cycle it around herself when using spells so as to always have mana on hand. It is thought the reason she is able to pull this off so easily is because of her extraordinary mana sense. She is also able to use this to sense the flow of other people's mana and use quick pulses of lightning to temporarily stop that flow if she deems it necessary.
Equipment
Lightning Grimoire: Though born in a foreign land, Yoruichi was able to claim a grimoire for herself. It is light colored with a static white filigree and a three leaf clover motif. It has lightning bolts down the spine and a small cat face on the back of it.
Sword: Yoruichi uses a thick bladed rapier with an almost chocolate brown blade to channel her lightning magic. It has a set of roses at the hilt and is worth more than 5 years pay as a Captain. She uses this in battle and it is seen as her primary weapon aside from her grimoire.
