“Hollowfication requires constant training to master. Though at your level I doubt that will be necessary.” remarked Shuren as he gazed upon the young man, whose full body hollowfication had just came to an end, signifying the conclusion of the battle that occurred in his inner world. Raising his hand upon his face, he took his mask off as it dissipated into thin air in fragments. His irises turned back to normal and his facial expressions were once again revealed, showing the incredibly neutral face he was putting up: it wasn’t possible to designate how Shuren was feeling by looking at him. Was he angry? Or was he glad by the results? One couldn’t tell. Though it wouldn’t take a clever person to figure out that the Commander was following an agenda of his own, just like he suspected his friend to be doing the same. In an instant, he vanished only to reappear on the ground. Silently, he walked forward towards Drake. Once he was close enough he would speak. “You have what you want.” he said, seemingly cutting his own sentence off given his intonation. He took a moment to examine the lad’s body and analyze his spiritual pressure. He seemed to boast both an elemental and dual reiatsu pattern now, much like himself. He was guessing that was enough for him to have a go at what he wanted. Of course, he wasn’t going to bring up the topic of Drake’s distorted memory. To learn that, he was planning to be patient and slow. He would manipulate his friend into giving answers without him realizing it. And if that didn’t work out, he could always just threaten him. He was, after all, the more threatening presence of the duo. Aside from that, having killed him once before, he no longer felt remorse over the thought of repeating his past actions. If anything this young man in front of him felt more like a decoy than the person he once addressed as brother. “Now it’s my turn.” he continued before shortly pausing to take a look at the Colosseum. “Explain everything that led you to being attacked and brought here. In detail, if possible.” he concluded, finishing his sentence while simultaneously turning his head to face the lad.

With his hollowfication finally finished and his power slowly beginning to come back to him, Drake continued to laugh. The power circulating through his body now was filling him with a euphoria he could never comprehend. No wonder Shuren decided to become a Vizard after surpassing his hollow abilities for so long, the power was nothing he ever felt before, this was saying something considering he was literally fused with his own zanpakuto and had already had a taste of absolute power from a shinigami perspective.

As Shuren got closer, Drake began to calm down and when close enough heard Shuren said that he had got what he had came for. Knowing him though, he knew this wasn't were the conversation was going to end. No way! Shuren wouldn't do something for anyone if it wasn't for his own gain. Granted there were close friends, at least in the past but even still everything had a price, it was just whether or not you could pay it and then it came. Shuren wanted to know everything from the start of the attack, however Drake had a much better idea "How about I tell you everything from the very start brother" Drake would say, his voice holding a much more darker, huskier and sinister tone, as if what he was saying was almost forced.

Drake would raise his right eyebrow while simultaneously lowering his left making his left eye nearly closed as a wide grin crossed his face, his reiatsu beginning to raise slightly coating his body in a crimson/black glow. "Years ago, two shinigami joined the Gotei 13 only in different divisions. They found each other in the Health bar and slowly a friendship began to blossom between the two. They became best friends, brothers even and they grew together, willing each other to get stronger. They would grow together, train together as well as apart and with each rank one of them gained so did the other" By now Drake began to pace upwards, passing Shuren before stopping two feet from him

"However, one night one of them got a letter luring him to a trap." He turned his head to look behind him, his voice becoming much softer now than it had been up to this point, his head lowering "It was from a cult called the Purple Dragons, they wanted to use the shinigami to take down the Gotei 13, so they used his own memory device to warp and twist his memories, seeing friends and enemies and family as threats. When a distress call was made, the final 3 people who had seen him prior made up a reconnaissance group to find their friend and cousin. A fight broke out, and the man who he trusted, loved and admired stabbed him. He believed he was dead, but sadly this wasn't the case" Tears began to fall from Drake's eyes as he began to speak, thinking back to the time Shuren, or Eldridge as he was known then fought him and 'killed him' "Unbeknownst to both of them, The Purple Dragon's uncovered something when skewering with his memories. His Zanapakuto had one unique ability, something they had never seen before. The ability to regenerate flesh, organs and other body parts by turning them into ash and reconstructing the molecules that way. This is why when the recon group got there it was only him sat on the throne, no guards, no surveillance. Nothing. They wanted him to die just to see if it was true. However, his Zanpakuto had one penalty for using this, it would corrupt the user, turning him against the last people he had seen before his death, forcing him into a fury that couldn't be quenched except by revenge." Drake would walk up behind Shuren and place his hand on his shoulder "Being fused with his zanpakuto due to his death, the man couldn't control himself. He was like a machine. He hid in the darkness, only appearing in select locations to hone his skills. Fighting a war within the 13th division and teaming up with an arrancar who could control people, reconstructing a cyborg who had been nearly burned alive, and finally the 5th division where he seen the newest Captain of the 12th division and teaming up with him to take down Quincy." He would remove his hand, his reiatsu beginning to calm down finally as he walked past Shuren once more.

"He wasn't satisfied though, the power he had was limited so he needed something else. Something new. So he hired someone, an assassin who would inject him with a lethal poison that would tear apart the bond between him and his zanpakuto while destroying the reiatsu from within his body. The only cure being the reiatsu of a hollow" Drake would stop dead, the tears stopping and he turned to look at Shuren to see his expression "Although, there was one thing I forgot to mention, in giving me the powers of a hollow you have also separated me from my zanpakuto and stopped the anger, the hate and my memories aren't tainted no more. Thank you" A smile crossed his face as he extended his right hand in the hopes for a handshake. He knew it was a long shot, but he was glad his plan worked out.
