It is a form of Ancient Spell in which the caster is able to attain the abilities of a "God", using a specific element as their type. The certain elemental type of God Slayer Magic can be conjured from the caster's body and be used for various purposes, mainly in combat. It is said that the original usage of this Magic was to slay "Gods". In addition, the color of each God Slayer's element has a black tint, regardless of what it may be. Similar to Dragon Slayer Magic and Devil Slayer Magic, the caster is able to eat their own element and also use it for combative purposes. However, it appears that they cannot eat their own "God-like" element and instead one of a lower level.
Lightning God Slayer Magic (雷の滅神魔法 Kaminari no Metsujin Mahō) - Lightning God Slayer Magic incorporates the element of lightning into the user's body, allowing them to produce black lightning from various parts of their body, which is mostly used for offensive purposes, with voltage high enough to completely vaporize solid matter. Such distinctive "black lightning" can, much like that employed in standard Lightning Magic, be generated in places away from the caster.
Lightning God's Bellow (雷神の怒号 Raijin no Dogō) - The user gathers black lightning in their mouth and releases it in the form of a massive, destructive blast, capable of destroying everything in a wide area in front of them. Anything not immediately vaporized by the blast is subjected to outright electrocution. By moving their head around as they cast it, the user can also employ this spell in an arched trajectory, enabling them to hit enemies that may not be in their direct path. This is a feature this attack shares with the Lightning Dragon's Roar, but a Lightning God Slayer is capable of arcing the blast enough to reach targets behind them as well.
Lightning God's Raiden (雷神の雷電 Raijin no Raiden) - The user generates a ball of black lightning between their palms before releasing it as a powerful beam.
Lightning God's Charged Particle Cannon (雷神の荷電粒子砲 Raijin no Kaden Ryūshi Hō) - The user extends both arms before themselves, their open palms facing, the fingers pointed towards the target. Sparks of black lightning are generated between their arms, growing larger and larger, and gradually extending to the surrounding area. With their arms completely clad in black lightning, the user fires a massive, concentrated beam of the aforementioned black lightning at their target. Such beam is shown to be able to completely vaporize what it strikes.
God Slayer's Secret Art: Thunder Greeting (滅神奥義 雷迎 Metsujin Ōgi: Raigō) - The user raises both hands and creates a huge spherical cloud of black lightning. Lightning constantly stems off the sphere and strikes the surrounding area, vaporizing anything in comes in contact with. When it is finally dropped, the ball has enough power to destroy an entire mountain.
God Slayer's Secret Art: Thunder God War Form (滅神奥義 雷神戦形 Metsujin Ōgi: Raijin Senkei) - Black lightning emitted from the user's back creates a circle of electrical energy in the shape of Raijin's drums behind the user as they unleash a giant column of concentrated electrical energy to engulf the opponent.
God's Wrath - God's Wrath activates when a God Slayer gives in to strong emotions, and allows a God Slayer to essentially transform themselves into a demigod. The God Slayer gains elaborate and winding tattoos all over their body as they reach the ultimate form of God Slayer Magic. God's Wrath grants a massive increase to the user's physical prowess, as well as their God Slayer spells. The more powerful their emotion, the more powerful their spells become. In a manner akin to how Curses function, God's Wrath causes the user's spells to be fueled by a source other than the user's Magic Power. What fuels God Slayer spells during God's Wrath is called Divine Power, which is essentially the strength of the emotion which triggered God's Wrath. The user's element constantly seeps from their body when God's Wrath is triggered, and becomes many times stronger than its previous state as a result of the added strength of emotion.
