Magic
Sound Magic A type of magic which allows users to manipulate sound waves. This magic can be used without a grimoire but it benefits in both power and variation by use of specific spells. It can also be used to vibrate the user, distort physical objects or dispel other magics by vibrating at different frequencies.
Sonic Wave: A magic which creates almost visible pulses of sound which disturb those around them. This can be used minimally to cause discomfort or disorientation or to more massive negative effects rendering a person unconscious.
Sonic Boom: With an open grimoire the user compresses a sound wave into a small space and releases it outward. This creates a blast of concussive pressure which breaks the sound barrier to cause massive physical damage.
Sonic Distortion: A barrier type technique which creates a barrier of sound based magic. Using this barrier Esper is able to create an impenatrable barrier as whatever magic hits it seems to be disturbed and cancels out by virtue of meeting something different. After it is created it can be adjusted to take on different kinds of magic or even to resist multiple types of magic at once.
