Combat Style: Being a former member of the Onmitsukido, Kenpachi seems to share many similar traits in his powers and fighting style. First of all, he is a speedy and agile individual, and demonstrates an uncanny ability to maneuver through the air utilizing Reishi platforms. He also bears a decent command of hand-to-hand combat, and can seriously harm foes with punishing grab-combos and a fiery defense.

Rettenjō (烈天上, Violent Heavens Above) is a standard katana with a triangular guard and a red hilt. The blade is always broken in half because Kenpachi chooses to break it each time it regenerates, preferring the feel of the broken blade when he fights.
