Overwhelming Reiatsu: Being one of the strongest and most experienced entities, Raizen possesses an exceedingly powerful Reiatsu. Its sheer strength is enough to break free from the strongest bonds in seconds. His Reiatsu nullifies the actions of those possessing a High amount with no effort at all and would be exceptionally overpowering to them when used in an attack. Not in 1,000 years has a warrior been born more powerful than he. It can directly oppose a great amount of Reiatsu of others and tip the scales in his favor, it can even negate the effects of their abilities, if he exerts it. When at its peak, his spiritual power can be felt around the world.

Genius Intellect: Arguably, the most fearsome trait of Raizen is his tremendous intellect. He is well-versed in the history and proceedings of the world and is privy to knowledge unknown to many, such as secret methods. He easily grasps the concepts of subjects completely new to him and masters them quickly. Even in the most complex and dangerous of situations Raizen can rely on his calculating intellect to figure out the best course of action. His assessment of a situation is swift, ad-hoc and accurate, allowing him to deduce the nature of other people’s abilities and countering them, often only requiring a few instances of observation.

Keen Scientist: Raizen is a gifted inventor and scientist, having created a number of clever devices and techniques to aid him in battle or otherwise. His intellect in this field is evident, as he is able to create and invent devices on her own and further sophisticated research. He is an asset to any development bureau as his work can help accomplish the developmental goals. He knows chemistry, being able to work with chemical formulas and combined them to make new ones. He can also repair advanced machines, sometimes needing to improvise on materials.

Master Tactician: he has shown himself to be a masterful and flexible tactician, capable of adjusting seamlessly to any given combat situation, if not planning out events well in advance. He understands the strengths, weaknesses and mannerisms of his enemies, and creates strategies to achieve victory; this includes preparing traps or leading his enemies along complex battle plans so he can even deal with enemies stronger than himself. Like this Raizen can prepare victory many steps in advance and even incorporate his enemies and their plans into his grand scheme. Regardless of his own powers or those of others, Raizen always remains a tactically cautious.

Hohō Master Specialist: Raizen is highly skilled in the art of Shunpo. He has mastered this ability to the point where he can appear to be in several places at once. He can easily close tremendous gaps of distance in the blink of an eye while remaining undetected, and can surprise even some of the most proficient masters of this art as well. He is capable of effortlessly dodging simultaneous attacks at close range and evading Bankai level techniques. He is perceived to be so fast that one cannot discern even being attacked by him until after it has taken place. Even masters can barely keep up with him while he is still holding back.

Inept Zanjutsu: he is completely unaware about armed combat. Any use of a mêlée weapon would likely result in self-injury instead. In fact, Raizen is so ignorant about armed fighting that he is incapable to responding effectively to one. This makes him exceptionally vulnerable to Average level armed opponents or better.

Hakuda Master Specialist: As one of the most accomplished hand-to-hand combatants in history, Raizen is a highly skilled and dangerous combatant without needing to use his Zanpakutō. He can effortlessly catch his opponent's weapons with a single bare-hand. While fighting offensively, he shows tremendous agility and dexterity. He is also proficient in counterattacking. His attacks have great speed and agility, leaving little time to counterattack. Additionally, it has proven difficult to actively lay a hand on him unless he allows it. He would have no problem fighting two masters simultaneously, and he might still come out on top.

Kidō Legend: Raizen knows every spell in the books, and those which aren't. Kidō holds no secrets to him and he can masterfully cast every spell using only a name to do so. Up to #89 he can also make the spells appear from thin air, all the while still retaining great potential. He can manipulate Kidō energy in such a way that powerful attacks are stopped on his body without there seemingly being a cause which stopped them, or instantly produce tremendous aimed explosions. The speed by which he can string up spells makes one wonder if it weren't two or three masters, who were hiding somewhere, doing most of the work.

Tengai Shinsei (天碍震星, Heavenly Obstacle Quaking Star): Raizen focuses his Reiryoku toward the sky in order to draw massive meteorites from the upper atmosphere down towards a specific location on the ground. As they descend in succession along the same trajectory, if one of these meteorites is stopped, he can summon another one which will then collide with the first, ensuring that they crash into their intended destination. The impact of this technique is of such enormity that it can turn entire cities into desolate landscapes even if the meteorites are shattered before they make contact.
Shukusei (宿星, Star of Fate): Through fabricating a miniature star and forcing it to undergo its final stages of evolution, it explodes in both an incredibly powerful and wide ranging blast; referred to as a supernova. The actual event is so powerful that it momentarily out-shines everything in a hundred meter radius from its epicenter, and annihilates all things in its path. After the supernova, the gravitational collapse of the remnants continues to occur, resulting in a gravitational field with such an incredibly high density that anything in the vicinity that remains is pulled toward it. Opponents caught in the black hole are bound by its gravity, and held in place. Raizen considers this the ultimate spell, as it successfully produces a Hadou that evolves into a Bakudou.

Strength: Raizen possesses an ordinary amount of strength, though not the typical for a trained fighter. It is enough to not be called weak but serves as no advantage either. He could still be overpowered by those possessing an huge amount of strength with ease though.

Immense Speed: Raizen is deceptively fast in combat, even when just leaping. His legs can propel him fast enough to surprise even fast opponents. He can instantly close huge gaps relying on his innate speed alone, appearing to disappear from sight completely. He is fast enough to react to most surprise attacks and masterfully deliver a counter to them. In battle, he can strike with incredible speed in rapid succession, making it highly difficult for his opponents to find an opening and counter-attack.

Immense Endurance: Raizen seems to be tirelessly energetic in combat. He can sustain peak activity for an extended period of time without tiring and requires only a short time to catch his breath again. This makes it difficult to tire him out completely through physical activity alone. He can even fight on unhindered after sustaining a grave injury.

Enhanced Senses not only can Raizen utilize the normal Reiatsu sensing technique of a Shinigami, he is also in posession of superior other senses. His sight, hearing, sense of smell and even his feel for Reiatsu are very acute and sharp; able to discern smaller sources and nuances where others could not.

Zanpakutō

Mugen (六幻, Six Illusions): Raizen has modified Mugen's sealed form to take the shape of a khakkhara with six spear tips attached to the ring below its head, which holds an eye with a red iris. The spear tips on the ring are fragments of his Zanpakutou's original blade, and the staff itself is crafted from its handle and sheath. The eye, of course, is a simple cosmetic addition. Raizen summons his weapon with Kidou when necessary, as he does not often wish to carry it around with him.
Spoiler:
Shikai: Its Release Command is Itsuwaru (陽る, "Deceive"). In its Shikai, Mugen separates into a thousand cherry blossom petals, each of which is as strong and durable as any blade. Raizen can control the blade fragments at will, allowing him to shred opponents at a distance and break through defenses. The blades are also used for defensive purposes, as they can even protect Raizen from an incoming attack.

Touei Kisei (倒影記性, "Reflection Memory"): While the purpose of Mugen's Shikai appears to be attacking and defending with the array of blades it produces, its true power lies in its ability to create illusions with its blades. When Mugen's blades have made contact with something once, that which has been touched will never be forgotten. For instance, exposure to the surroundings allows Mugen to create an image of them once the blades have been gathered. This goes as far as being able to remember even the Reiryoku of Raizen's opponents once they have been cut. Once this has been done, Mugen may create an exact copy of said person, and even make one believe Mugen is the person in question. The only tell-tale sign of difference, aside from perhaps mannerisms and the like, is the incredibly minute trace of Mugen's/Raizen's Reiatsu, which requires very high spiritual awareness to detect.

Bankai: Shinko Mugen (真箇六幻, True Six Illusions): The 1,000 blades that formed Mugen's Shikai assimilate into the form of a lexicon. The book is black in color and is adorned with unusual emblems and text reading 'Hallucination: Another Side.' Additionally, on the book's spine is the roman numeral VI (6), alluding to the Zanpakutou's attachment to the number.
Spoiler:
Overwhelming Reiatsu: The Reiatsu Raizen possesses significantly changes its nature in Bankai. Just being in the vicinity is enough to instill fear into anyone. It can stifle the power of those possessing an immense amount of Reiatsu and cannot really be described as Reiatsu anymore for its consistency is far too dense for that. This augments all of his attacks by an absurd degree, completely overwhelming anything anyone weaker than his Bankai could bring.

Touei Kisei (倒影記性, "Reflection Memory"): In Bankai, Raizen's illusions are enhanced greatly. Instead of being created from the Zanpakutou's memory, they are based entirely on Raizen's imagination. Whatever he sees in his mind's eye, he can create, even granting it tangible form if concentration permits it. It truly invades all six of the victims' senses: Sight, touch, taste, smell, hearing and Reiryoku sensory. If the target's concentration is great enough, they may be able to break the illusions by bypassing its deception of one or more senses. When used in conjunction with Raizen's Hollow mask, the illusions can be made completely tangible without effort.

Resurrecci?n: Vac?o Imperial Blanco (White Imperial Void): Raizen's Resurreccion begins with him being sucked into a portal of his own creation. A massive, white hand with claw-like nails emerges from said portal thereafter. Raizen's upper body grows out of the palm, sharing the general color of the hand itself, but there are many other alterations. His face is nonexistent, being only a void of emptiness. His eyes however, are still present. In fact, there are five in total, with one large eye being present on each finger of the hand that acts as his body's base. Across his chest, is a large, fanged mouth without lips. Another is at the base of his abdomen, and two significantly smaller mouths are present on his hands. Additionally, at the back of Raizen's torso is a set of angelic wings, attributing to his other-worldly, questionably deity-themed transformation.
Spoiler:
Overwhelming Reiatsu: The Reiatsu Raizen possesses significantly changes its nature in Resurrecci?n. Just being in the vicinity is enough to instill fear into anyone. It can stifle the power of those possessing an immense amount of Reiatsu and cannot really be described as Reiatsu anymore for its consistency is far too dense for that. This augments all of his attacks by an absurd degree, completely overwhelming anything anyone weaker than his Resurrecci?n could bring.

Bolsillo Vac?o (Pocket Void): Raizen conjures a small orb of swirling black energy, which evolve into portals with gravitational pull. In Resurreccion, the portals' power is increased enough for a connection between two, to be unnecessary. One portal alone may transport objects to a location of Raizen's choosing. Many of these may be active at once. Additionally, the portals may be reverted to orb form and reopened at a later time so long as there is another to be linked to it. As long as they are open, the user's Reiatsu is drained gradually, but a closed portal requires no exertion of energy. It should be noted that the size and power of each individual portal is directly linked to the amount of Reiatsu used, as well as the concentration placed on each portal.
Vac?o Devorador (Devouring Void): Through the mouths present on Raizen's hands, lower abdomen and chest, he may absorb energy-based attacks of varying degrees of size and intensity. His hands may absorb very quickly as the mouths are more easily opened, albeit the attacks they may absorb alone are in the smaller and less powerful tier. The mouth on his lower abdomen is capable of absorbing mid-tier attacks, but opens more slowly. Finally, the very large mouth on his chest is able to absorb the highest tier of energy-based attacks, albeit it requires the most effort to open.
Cero Gigante: Raizen's ultimate Hollow technique is a massively powerful Cero. It loads in the form of a ball, and fires in a colossal beam capable of widespread destruction to a large portion of the surroundings and eliminating numerous targets at once.

Hollowfication

Hollow Mask: Raizen's mask is white in color, and covers his face and the entire upper-half of his head with a design consisting of a ripple-pattern with three tomoe around the center; two of which make the mask's eye holes.
Spoiler:
Raizen can hold his mask for an astonishing 24 hours! This time limit is theoretical however, if it is broken forcibly it cannot be resummoned for the same duration.

Power Augmentation: While Raizen is wearing the mask, his Hollow powers supplement his Shinigami powers, giving him a strong increase in Reiatsu which is enough to surpass most Shikai on its own. Coupled with his own Reiatsu he becomes a very formidable foe to his peers while relying on his Hollow powers alone.

Augmented Touei Kisei (倒影記性, "Reflection Memory"): When Raizen wears his mask, the potency and overall effectiveness of his Touei Kisei (倒影記性, "Reflection Memory") becomes drastically augmented, to the point of making a serious difference to before. When used with his Bankai and Hollow mask in combination, his Touei Kisei (倒影記性, "Reflection Memory") is stated to be his ultimate ability.
Massive Strength: while Masked , Raizen begets massive strength, enough to tear someone apart with little effort. It completely surpasses anything possible, even to spiritual beings and incredibly augments his strikes and blocks to a point where he could crush parts of weapons with one hand. His strength is described as 'stifling', completely incomprehensible to others who can only remain in awe and disbelief as Raizen simply wrecks everything they bring.
Augmented Durability By significantly increasing his Hollow Reiryoku for an instance, Raizen can deflect heavy attacks to his body while he himself is relying on Reiryoku alone. Although being a rapid incline in raw power it is precisely steered towards the impact site, nullifying the incoming energy with a direct opposite energy. Although this can stop heavy sword hews and even diminish high level Kido and Cero it does exact a heavy toll on the his Mask, lowering the number of turns he can still hold it by 5 or it will break immediately after.
Hyperspeed Combat: His Hollow powers drastically increases his combat speed. This enhancement unlike that of Shunpo alone allows Raizen to create dozens of speed clones to confuse his opponent when involved in ranged combat. In closer combat, Raizen is able to move more quickly even around those who are more advanced at Shunpo than he is and potentially make a critical blow against them. Against someone of similar skill he will seem to gain more mastery over techniques and surpass them while the ability is actively being used. He can close massive gaps instantaneously and surprise even those with the most well-trained eyes. He is quick enough to evade and counter surprise attacks while surprising his attackers and his strikes are faster than most warriors can perceive, leaving very minuscule openings, if any at all.
Son?do: Raizen moves at exceedingly fast speeds when using spiritually enhanced travel. He doesn?t use Shunpo to achieve this however, instead he relies on Son?do. It can also slip through the Pesquisa of an Arrancar and through the sensory perception of those weaker than him.
Cero: Raizen can fire a powerful blast of concentrated spiritual energy at a target. He can fire a standard Cero, taking the shape of a projectile or a beam. It requires considerable loading time, making it unwieldy in a direct confrontation. His Cero can deal massive damage to anyone even when not completely loaded, it can easily blast through practically all objects in the way. As an explosion, it can deal crippling damage when suffered point blank.
Kidō Augmentation: When masked Raizen is able to cast Kidō at a much faster rate than normal. The speed increase of his casting is only over shadowed by the additional power that each of his spells gains. The combination of increased spell speed and power make him a deadly foe while using Kidō and his mask simultaneously. Kidō won't tire him as easily when masked, meaning more spells can be cast in a shorter amount of time. Wearing his mask doesn't change is general knowledge of Kidō, but instead allows him to use his previous knowledge of Kidō to ravage foes.
Extended Duration: After having achieved domination of his Hollow, Raizen has the ability to hold his Mask for an extended duration of time. This allows him to fight Masked for much longer amount of time than normally possible!

Second Form
After being Hollowfied for 10 posts, the mask starts to change its shape. In its advanced form, Raizen's mask extends beyond the back of his head. Raizen gains a form-fitting chestplate and shoulderpads with the ripples of his mask extending along them, and a pure-white, spiky fur cowl. When this happens he is fully Hollowfied and can no longer access Shikai or Bankai, instead his Resurrecci?n becomes available.
High Speed Regeneration: Perhaps his Mask's greatest benefit, Raizen has the ability to quickly regenerate any part of his body save for the brains and internal organs. The repair of damage can start quickly and finishes in two posts time. Although its ability to regenerate is indeed powerful it is not without flaws; the brains and internal organs can?t be regenerated and if such irreparable damage occurs, the body may continue to regenerate though to no avail. In addition, if the body is damage before it had the chance to regenerate or if enough damage it inflicted at one, it can be destroyed regardless.

Hōgyoku Implantation

The Hōgyoku (崩玉, Crumbling Orb) is a small, bluish-purple orb composed of a unique substance. Its true power lies in its ability to sense the hearts of those around it and materialize their deepest desire. However, this power is not without limitations. The Hōgyoku itself is merely a guiding force - it can only manifest the desires of those with the strength to carry them out. It alone possesses an overbearing power unlike anything else in Soul Society, a power completely unrelated to Reiatsu. The Hōgyoku can be embedded into one's body, fusing with it almost completely. In this state, the Hōgyoku instinctively protects its master by healing its master's injuries almost instantly in a manner similar to a Hollow's High-Speed Regeneration. As the Hōgyoku's will further understands its master's heart, the fusion between them progresses, restructuring his soul and triggering a transformation.

First Fusion
Raizen embeds the Hōgyoku into the center of his chest. By forsaking both Shinigami and Hollow powers alike, he is granted multiple stages of development that more directly benefit his combat ability.
Protective Regeneration: By being embedded into Rizen's chest, the Hōgyoku actively protects its master by healing his injuries almost instantly.
Strength Augmentation: Raizen's already considerable strength is further enhanced by the Hōgyoku's evolution of his body. He can strike through a target's flesh with a single, nonchalant sweep of his bare hands.
Durability Augmentation: Raizen's durability is further enhanced by the Hōgyoku's evolution of his body. Because of this, he can withstand high level spells and attacks without suffering much, if any, damage.

Second Fusion
After suffering a considerable amount of damage at once, Raizen emerges unscathed as a phantom-like figure, evolved by the will of the Hōgyoku. Raizen's face is covered with a white canvas, and his outfit is now a white cloak which is split in four sections near his waist. There is a cross in the middle of the cloak, showing where the Hōgyoku is embedded in his chest. By the time he reaches this state, Raizen's Zanpakutou has become fused with his arm.
Protective Shield: Raizen wills it that no attack can reach him. The Hōgyoku facilitates this by putting up a gradually condensing Reiryoku shield at the area on of the body of his choosing. The shield itself cannot be detected. This allows him to block otherwise damaging attacks with lessened consequences.
Enhanced Spiritual Power: After Raizen fuses with the Hōgyoku, both Shinigami and Humans are incapable of sensing his Reiatsu unless he voluntarily lowers it and allows them to interfere. At this stage, Raizen's Reiatsu can only be sensed by someone who is at the same level as him.

Third Fusion
After completing his "chrysalis" stage, Raizen sheds his sleek phantom-like form to reveal a form similar to his original one, with the addition of long hair and gray eyes with purple sclera. He gains a headpiece with a pair of horns. His white robe now has six tomoe along the outside of its collar, and a total of ten black orbs hover behind him at all times.
Spoiler:
Enhanced Spiritual Power: Raizen's already enormous Reiryoku is further enhanced. His mere presence causes human souls to collapse and fade away by him standing a few feet away. By his own claim, if lesser beings come into contact with him, they would cease to exist.
Power Sharing: Once the Hōgyoku has been fully assimilated, Raizen is able to share his new power with those he deems worthy, essentially granting them lesser versions of the Hōgyoku itself. When this source synchronizes with the recipient of Raizen's will, they are granted a transcendent state not unlike Raizen's own at the point of this ability becoming available.
Gudōdama (Truth-Seeking Ball): Truth-Seeking Balls are spheres of malleable black Reiryoku. These orbs appear and generally float in a circular formation behind the Raizen's back. By utilizing the Hōgyoku's power of will materialization, the balls can be shaped into a variety of forms to fit Raizen's needs. The balls can serve various offensive, defensive, and supplementary purposes, such as wrapping around their master to act as a defensive shield, or launching toward targets as high-speed projectiles. They are also capable of causing massive explosions by rapidly expanding in size. Each orb is about the size of a fist and hides within enough power to completely obliterate a forest. However, as they must maintain a strong connection with the Hōgyoku, Raizen can only manipulate them within 70 meters of his person.

Fourth Fusion
In this form, Raizen's appearance changes only a little. His eyes become grey with ripple patterns throughout them, and he discards his horned headpiece for a pair of true black horns. A vertical, red eye appears in the center of his forehead. The third eye maintains the pattern of the other two, but with magatama in each ripple, much like the design of his Hollow mask. Unlike previous forms, this state is achieved through Raizen's will alone.
Spoiler:
Enhanced Srength: In this form, Raizen can attack his opponent with minor movement or force. He wields enough physical power to tear open the ground with the sheer force of his arm swing, even when the blow is blocked.
Teleportation: In this form, Raizen can de-materialize himself in one place and re-materialize himself a distance away. He breaks down his body into multiple purple shards and reassembles himself. Unlike Shunpo, this allows him to move about instantaneously while being untraceable until the moment he reappears.
Reiryoku Construct: An ability which creates a gigantic, humanoid being of pure Reiryoku that surrounds Raizen and fights on his behalf. Raizen refers to this as a "guardian deity" and is able to freely move around within its body as well as levitate inside of it. He can also leave its body entirely while maintaining its form. It is also possible for others to enter the construct when allowed by the Raizen. While this acts as a defense against external attacks, anything coming out of its body will simply phase through it. As it develops, the construct goes through several different forms. Raizen can switch between these forms at will or, in the case of the first two stages, leave it in a state between forms. When first activating the technique, Raizen only manifests a portion of a skeleton around his body, such as a smaller version of its ribcage which, while providing a good defense, can still be fractured, as well as melted. Raizen can form other parts of the skeletal structure, such as an arm, to interact with his surroundings. When first forming, the construct manifests around Raizen as an aura. Eventually, he is able to form the entirety of its skeletal structure. Additional musculature and skin can then form atop its bones, progressively completing it until it develops into a fully manifested form in which the vulnerabilities of the skeletal form are largely eliminated. In its next form, this fully humanoid shape is further surrounded by a layer of armour that causes it to resemble a yamabushi. The 'armor' of this construct's form seems to have excess Reiryoku from the body within constantly overflowing. In addition to being able to channel his spells through the construct for instantaneous casting and much larger blasts, Raizen is able to form a khakkhara as well.
