Personality
Shisui has a charming if somewhat sadistic personality and is fond of sarcasm. He often derives great pleasure from inflicting pain, suffering, or humiliation on others. He boasts an immense amount of hatred, leaving him more inclined to do anything and everything in his power to achieve his goals and show his own superiority, regardless of the consequences and repercussions of his actions. Despite having such sadistic qualities, Shisui tends to reveal them only when he gets serious. Otherwise he seems to be quite a normal fellow, which he uses actively to deceive people. He is honest only when he is interacting with a member of his family or their trusted friends.

Kidō Legend: Shisui knows every spell in the books, and those which aren't. Kidō holds no secrets to him and he can masterfully cast every spell using only a name to do so. Up to #89 he can also make the spells appear from thin air, all the while still retaining great potential. He can manipulate Kidō energy in such a way that powerful attacks are stopped on his body without there seemingly being a cause which stopped them, or instantly produce tremendous aimed explosions. The speed by which he can string up spells makes one wonder if it weren't two or three masters, who were hiding somewhere, doing most of the work.

Shinra Tensei (神羅天征, Almighty Push): A Kidou spell derived from Shisui's original Resurreccion technique, Heavenly Subjugation. The spell grants the user the ability to manipulate repulsive force at his will to push matter or techniques away. Depending on the amount of reiatsu he puts into this technique, its strength and area of effect can be greatly increased. By using this technique as a defensive measure, attacks directed at Shisui can be deflected, spiritual or physical, of different size, nature, power or mass. More basic uses of the ability have been shown to be able to easily shatter wood, metal, or stone walls or repelling flames caught on the Shisui’s body. It can additionally be used on a larger scale for massive destruction, where a massive amount of repulsive force is placed above the target, crushing everything beneath in an enormous explosion.

Vast Reiatsu: Even by the highest standards Shisui possesses a tremendous amount of Reiatsu. His mere presence on the battlefield is monstrously overwhelming. It is powerful enough to nullify the actions of those possessing a High amount or less with no effort at all and Reiatsu fueled attacks from him proof to be exceptionally overwhelming to them. His incredible energy reserves make it hard to fight weaker individuals without promptly overpowering them. His Reiatsu is also great enough to, if he exerts it, negate the effects of abilities from those possessing a great amount of Reiatsu.

Genius Intellect: Arguably, the most fearsome trait of Shisui is his tremendous intellect. He is well-versed in the history and proceedings of the world and is privy to knowledge unknown to many, such as secret methods. He easily grasps the concepts of subjects completely new to him and masters them quickly. Even in the most complex and dangerous of situations Shisui can rely on his calculating intellect to figure out the best course of action. His assessment of a situation is swift, ad-hoc and accurate, allowing him to deduce the nature of other people’s abilities and countering them, often only requiring a few instances of observation.

Keen Scientist: Shisui is a gifted inventor and scientist, having created a number of clever devices and techniques to aid him in battle or otherwise. His intellect in this field is evident, as he is able to create and invent devices on her own and further sophisticated research. He is an asset to any development bureau as his work can help accomplish the developmental goals. He knows chemistry, being able to work with chemical formulas and combined them to make new ones. He can also repair advanced machines, sometimes needing to improvise on materials.

Master Tactician: he has shown himself to be a masterful and flexible tactician, capable of adjusting seamlessly to any given combat situation, if not planning out events well in advance. He understands the strengths, weaknesses and mannerisms of his enemies, and creates strategies to achieve victory; this includes preparing traps or leading his enemies along complex battle plans so he can even deal with enemies stronger than himself. Like this Shisui can prepare victory many steps in advance and even incorporate his enemies and their plans into his grand scheme. Hohō Master Specialist: Shisui is highly skilled in the art of Shunpo. He has mastered this ability to the point where he can appear to be in several places at once. He can easily close tremendous gaps of distance in the blink of an eye while remaining undetected, and can surprise even some of the most proficient masters of this art as well. He is capable of effortlessly dodging simultaneous attacks at close range and evading Bankai level techniques. He is perceived to be so fast that one cannot discern even being attacked by him until after it has taken place. Even masters can barely keep up with him while he is still holding back.

Zanjutsu Master Specialist: his skill with his sword has been honed to a masterful level, letting Shisui strike multiple times with changes of attack type (from slash to pierce) without any difficulty. His skills and immense might with his sword allow him to always fight with one hand free, only using both hands when facing opponents he feels will beat him otherwise, which is an unlikely occurrence in its own right. He would have no problem fighting two masters simultaneously, and he might still come out on top.

Immense Strength: He is strong enough to stop even powerful attacks, when the opponent is weakened even stopping their releases with a single hand and likely end the fight with a single swing in the right spot. He can also inflict tremendous damage with his bare hands. His strength is described as being ‘scary’, a fearsome weapon in its own right which can dictate the conditions of battle. He can fend of large weapons with only one hand and easily cleave durable armour with a single strike. Only those possessing a massive amount of strength could topple his might with ease.

Immense Speed: Shisui is deceptively fast in combat, even when just leaping. His legs can propel him fast enough to surprise even fast opponents. He can instantly close huge gaps relying on his innate speed alone, appearing to disappear from sight completely. He is fast enough to react to most surprise attacks and masterfully deliver a counter to them. In battle, he can strike with incredible speed in rapid succession, making it highly difficult for his opponents to find an opening and counter-attack.

Immense Endurance: Shisui seems to be tirelessly energetic in combat. He can sustain peak activity for an extended period of time without tiring and requires only a short time to catch his breath again. This makes it difficult to tire him out completely through physical activity alone. He can even fight on unhindered after sustaining a grave injury.

Enhanced Senses not only can Shisui utilize the normal Reiatsu sensing technique of a Shinigami, he is also in possession of superior other senses. His sight, hearing, sense of smell and even his feel for Reiatsu are very acute and sharp; able to discern smaller sources and nuances where others could not.

Zanpakutō

Komorebi (木漏れ日, literally meaning "Sunlight that filters through Leaves): In its sealed form, Komorebi resembles a normal katana. The hilt is black with red colored inner motifs, the sheath is red and its hand guard is circular.
Shikai: Its Release Command is Terasu (照らす, literally meaning "Illuminate"). Komorebi retains the same appearance as its sealed state.
Ⓐ➄ Toubatsu no Shikaku (討伐の視覚, Subjugation of Vision): Komorebi's ability is to grant its user the power to manipulate light. When Komorebi is drenched with Shisui’s spiritual energy, it is able to create limitless amounts of light and when Komorebi shines, it melds with all other light. Once Shisui releases it, he can use light to take control of shadows and attack his opponent with them as if they were made of energy. Komorebi’s ability also allows it to manipulate light for other various effects. For example, it has the ability to make Shisui invisible to the naked eye, by surrounding him with light. It can create a large area of light around opponents, disrupting their visual perceptions, causing confusion and decreasing their chance to fight back against an attack. Another usage is that the light released from Komorebi reigns over the dimensions that surround the opponent and alters them, thus creating an alternate dimension of light. His ability is to use this light to meddle with another’s perceptions, allowing him to make his opponent see what he wants him to see. Komorebi can even dissolve its actual blade and replace it with an invisible blade made of pure light. Shisui can alter the length of the invisible light blade up to 50 cms. Shisui can also create blades of light separate from his Zanpakutō, using them as projectiles to fire at his enemies.
  • Kirisaki Komorebi (切り裂き木漏れ日, Shred Komorebi): Using his Subjugation of Vision Shisui creates countless tiny, slender yellow-colored light fragments, which fly away from him and start circling around. Shisui has the ability to control the fragments at will and condense or loosen their density at a certain area. These fragments all possess enough cutting power as if a sword is being used. Shisui can control the fragments, allowing him to shred opponents at a distance. They can be used for defensive purposes too, as they can form at a certain area right next to each other and protect him from an incoming attack.
    Korose Komorebi, Masshou Yanagi (殺せ木漏れ日 抹消柳, Kill Komorebi, Willow of Erasure): After Shisui's command the fragments reveal their true nature. Using his Subjugation of Vision to expand and radiate the light fragments, Shisui makes each single one of them explode. Together they create a tremendously large and devastating explosion, which is reminiscent of a willow tree. Shisui can also send them all flying into his targets all at once, allowing him to harm opponents from a longer distance or without having to get closer to them to attack.

Hollowfication

Hollow Mask: Shisui's Hollow mask manifests as a white mask with pale-purple markings in the middle on its upper part and on both sides on its lower part. Shisui can hold his Mask for more than 24 hours straight. In combat this means practically indefinitely. If it is broken by a powerful direct impact or a grave enough injury, he can restore or resummon it 3 times.

Dual Reiatsu: while Hollowfied, Shisui possesses an exceedingly powerful Reiatsu. Its sheer strength is enough to break free from the strongest bonds in seconds. His Reiatsu nullifies the actions of those possessing a High amount with no effort at all and would be exceptionally overpowering to them when used in an attack. Not in 1,000 years has a warrior been born more powerful than he. It can directly oppose a great amount of Reiatsu of others and tip the scales in his favor, it can even negate the effects of their abilities, if he exerts it. When at its peak, his spiritual power can be felt around the world.
High Speed Regeneration: while Masked, Shisui has the ability to quickly regenerate any part of his body save for the brains and internal organs. The repair of damage can start quickly and finishes in two posts time. Despite the many benefits it has, many Hollows choose to abandon this power when becoming Arrancar in favor of greater strength. Although its ability to regenerate is indeed powerful it is not without flaws; the brains and internal organs can’t be regenerated and if such irreparable damage occurs, the body may continue to regenerate though to no avail. In addition, if the body is damage before it had the chance to regenerate or if enough damage it inflicted at one, it can be destroyed regardless.
Enhanced Durability: while masked, Shisui becomes quite resilient to inflicted damage. Though it does not mitigate the damage itself, Shisui feels like he’s controlling someone else’s body. Hits fill numb to him and he can fight unimpeded for longer while having suffered damage that would be a hindrance to others. He can even force broken limbs, otherwise limp, to move as if nothing happened to them and likewise not even flinch at the pain caused by wounds.
Bullet Speed: while Hollofied Shisui becomes extremely fast! His entire body is geared towards speed, moving exceptionally fast, covering enormous distances in an instant and reacting to superfast attacks. He reacts quick enough to respond to nearly any surprise attack and counter it perfectly, making a smooth transition between being attacked and being the attacked. In battle, he can strike with nigh-unobservable speed and at a frightening pace, making it nigh-impossible for his opponents to find an opening and counter-attack.
Sonído: while Masked Shisui uses Sonído instead of Shunpo. His Sonído is extremely fast and on par with that of the Legendary. He is tremendously skilled in the art of Sonído, far exceeding even the extraordinary as he can appear in multiple locations at the same time and conduct nigh-simultaenous attacks. He closes gaps so huge he can move in and out the sensory perception range of his opponents, in the blink of an eye. Even while heavily encumbered he can outpace other masters. If he claimed to be the most proficient Sonído user in the whole of Soul Society it wouldn't be unfounded.
Augmented Kidō: his Hollowfication gives Shisui enhanced control over Kidō. His Hollow Powers do not teach Shisui any new Kidō spells but makes them easier for him to cast. While Hollowfied, he can cast any of the standard spells he knows without an incantation while retaining much of their original potential. Those he already knew in Eishohaki, he can now cast using only the spell name albeit at only around half their maximum power. Any standard spells he could already use in rapid succession he can now cast twice as fast.
Negación: by greatly and suddenly increasing his Hollow Reiryoku Shisui can deflect heavy attacks to his body relying on ousting Reiatsu alone. Although being a rapid incline in raw power it is precisely steered towards the impact site, nullifying the incoming energy with a direct opposite energy. Although this can stop heavy sword hews and even diminish potent Kidō and most Cero variations it does exact a heavy toll on the his Mask, lowering the number of turns he can still hold it by 5 or it will break immediately after.
Enhanced Cero: Shisui can fire a beam of concentrated energy. He can fire his Cero from opposing sides of his body. It also loads relatively quickly, leaving less time for his opponent to react. If he audibly speaks the word ‘Cero’ during loading, it fires off as a very wide beam as well. His Cero can deal massive damage to anyone even when not completely loaded, it can easily blast through practically all objects in the way. As an explosion, it can deal crippling damage when suffered point blank.
  • Cero Oscurecimiento (Obscuring Cero): Shisui employs his Subjugation of Vision on his Cero, to reflect light from its surface. Afterwards, he charges a Cero and shoots it at his opponent. Because of the reflections and Shisui using them to create illusions, the opponent perceives it as several Ceros flying at him at the same time from different directions. This reduces the target’s reaction time, as he is forced to first determine which of the multiple beams of energy is the real one. Upon contact the Cero bursts into an enormous explosion that eradicates everything on its path.


Second Form
After 25 turns of wearing the Mask in combat, Shisui will undergo a full Hollowfication and his Mask changes it shape. It will extenda short, flowing hood hanging down the back of Shisui's neck. This will silence his Shinigami releases but paves to path to enter Resurrección.

Resurrección: Camino a la Iluminación (Path to Enlightenment): After activating his Resurreccion, light engulfs Shisui’s body and begins his transformation. Once it is over, it can be seen that he has gathered an armor all around his body. This armor is made from an unearthly, bone-like material: it is very durable while also being very thin in width and light in weight. This allows Shisui to have a better protection without discarding his speed. This layer of protection extends even to his face and head as a whole. It looks like Shisui has only one eye in this form, whereas it is actually an advanced mechanism that grants him a 360º field of vision. The range of this vision is around 45-50 meters. Shisui’s sword is gone in Resurreccion. Instead he creates yellow colored javelins made out of spiritual pressure. He can use them at both ranges: at close range he uses them as a melee weapon and at long range he can throw them at his target. When thrown, the javelins can create a destructive explosion on impact. However for that, Shisui needs to store reiatsu into it before throwing it. He can also remotely control the javelins that are in his vicinity. Additionally he grows wings behind him, which are also coated with the same bone-like armor. He can use these to fly, use them in offense or defense, or just hide them if he doesn’t want to use them.

Shisui is strong enough to wreak havoc to the landscape, overturning it completely and to undo the most powerful restraints with nearly no effort at all. He’d hurl a man-sized opponent away at bullet speeds, making it nigh-impossible for them even escape the trajectory.
Hyper Speed: in Resurrección Shisui becomes unfeasibly fast! It transcends all ordinary notion of movement and uses it to totally dominate his opponents. He can appear where he wishes at the moment he wishes, using his movement to dictate the pace of battle and strike when he wills. He is capable of downright outmaneuvering his opponents, moving around them completely before they could even turn around to face him. His reactions make any hope for a surprise hit on him vanity, and he could easily exploit their mistaken element of surprise against them. The volume and intensity of his attack speed is simply daunting, as he may strike so fast that his opponent could not even observe the attack having taken place before being hit.
