    Trophaeum City

Beneath the island of Trophaeum, there is a massive underground city which features all forms of Air Treck technology, including scrapped ideas and prototypes. This is where all ideas are tested, and where all unreleased technology is stored and utilized to avoid the public eye. It is also the location that powers the 72 Trophaeum Towers across the world, and can be linked directly to each one through the planet's mantle. Here, the legendary individuals that have been given the epithet "progenitors" have a place to call home. The city is otherwise occupied by scientists and the like, all of whom have been given a new, underground life for the purpose of testing and maintaining the structural balance of the city. As for why... only the progenitors have been told.

Akiza finished her meal and the glass of wine, though she was not very pleased about it. When they arrived at this place called Trophaeum Island the girl's eyes widened as she stared down into the tunnel they were visiting underground. "Sugoi. I mean... skeptical but... amazing." she mentioned of this kind of place. She still had no idea why on earth she'd been brought to such a place, but given the fact that Shoichi's eldest sibling as involved she could only assume it had something to do with whatever had taken the Ice Queen away from her studies and managing her own team. Akiza was rapid thinking but right at the moment her face was flushed. The reason the young Thorn Queen was in general opposed to drinking, wasn't because she didn't enjoy the activity, but instead because she was a bit of a lightweight.

"Here we are," the blonde man said when the helicopter finally landed at its destination. They seemed to be within a large, vertical cylinder of a chamber with a panoramic view of the giant city around them, both on floor level, and upside-down on the ceiling. Outside, there were many smaller tubes which people seemed to float through in either vertical direction, and floating around the city were a few hovering vehicles akin to ships. "Congratulations, by the way. You are the first Gravity Child from your generation to enter Trophaeum City." These were the final words of Shigeru, who then exited the helicopter and offered Akiza a hand in stepping down. Once outside the vehicle, one would find Takeuchi Roze being the only other inhabitant of this chamber. She sat alone in a steel chair, right leg crossed over her left, with her eyes focused on the younger Thorn Queen. "Izayoi. Welcome home~♥" the white-haired woman said with a smile.

Akiza had a look at all this place seemed to offer, and was a bit stunned. When it was mentioned by her journey friend, Shigeru that she was the first member of her own generation to come here she shrugged. "Hm, well, that's pretty interesting, but I don't see why that's worth congratulating." she seemed to be a bit stunned by what she was seeing here. But soon enough she was taking this young man's hand as she exited the air craft they'd found their way here in together and soon after facing Roze. This was surely a woman she'd only seen twice in her entire life. Still a little pink faced the young woman looked to the elder woman sitting in the chair and smiled. "Konbanwa, Takeuchi-san...you had me kidnapped, saying welcome home like that is odd. " she said those golden eyes of hers suddenly rather serious.

"Oh, wow. Shig, did you give her the whole bottle, you snake?" Roze asked both rhetorically and in jest upon seeing the state her successor seemed to be in. "You're free to go, doll-face." Once he'd been given permission to leave, which was more of a demand to do so when coming from Roze, Shigeru bowed to the woman, then to the younger woman he'd escorted to this place, before taking his leave via helicopter. While the rotors were turning to lift the machine above ground again, Roze shared her words with Akiza. "I didn't have you kidnapped. I had you reigned in. This is where you belong... where all Gravity Children belong, technically. This is where we're made. Oh, and don't listen to Shig. You're not the first to be brought here, but you're the first of your lot to come here while conscious. You'll also be the first to leave without having your brain overridden, so buck up, sissy."

"Ja ne~ Ito-san." Akiza mentioned to the man as he bowed to her. If they'd still been on the helicopter she'd have had an argument about why that wasn't necessary, but.. given the way Roze spoke to him in that moment, she was almost certain he'd be having nothing she had to say. Beyond this point the man seemed to leave. "He's nice." she commented after the man had left, and it was something she didn't imagine thinking when she was first grabbed off the street. Akiza was left alone with her predecessor who seemed to have a lot to say about the nature of her visit here, and how different it was from the others. "Sou ka, Sho-nii, Chi-chan and Ciel-chan... " she said thinking of the members of her generation with the personality problem. But Akiza wasn't really that interested in such things. Beyond that she couldn't really imagine a gravity child wanting to live underground after spending their formative years stuck underground the idea of doing so for any extended period of time would likely have driven them to madness. "Really, I'm glad I'll be leaving as me, but... what do you actually want? Like why am I even here..." the girl asked, because to be honest, she couldn't imagine any reason for her trip to a place none of the rest of her generation seemed to know about.

"Of course he's nice. He's my new second. I wouldn't have a fuckboy with such a title," Roze commented with utmost nonchalance while inspecting her nails. "Ugh. Time for a manicure already." Soon enough, Akiza was asking the question Roze had been waiting for since her arrival. Now that she'd done so, the former Thorn Queen rose from her chair and walked barefoot toward the lass. Her Regalia, though with her, had been left beside the chair at arrival. "You're here because you're one of the weakest fighters your generation has to offer, and I'm not letting that stick. A couple of your friends are already being taken care of, so it's time for the princess to take the throne. You're going to be the new Rose."

"Hm, everybody is replacing their seconds lately~" she mused. Which was true for her, she'd become Mukuro's second on his team. The young Ice Queen had recently replaced her second in command as well. Perhaps this was simply a thing that was in season presently. Beyond this point, it seemed the previous Thorn Queen was finally ready to say why she'd brought Akiza here, which made the pink haired girl's brows draw together. Still she looked at the woman before her figuring this was a point of personal pride for her, that she didn't want the person who also rode the same road she did originally to be weak by comparison. "Hm, I knew Chi-chan was gone, she's all super responsible and sent out a mass text, someone else is gone too... must be Sho-nii. So, it's what I thought you wanted to help me out, still saying didn't have to have me kidnapped for that..." she said aloud and mostly to herself. It seemed that the Thorn Queen was a bit quicker on the draw than most would give her credit for. "Ah, but wait a minute, Roze is your name, yeah? I can't say I just want your name or anything. That'd be freaky weird, especially considering..." she said not having any idea what this woman could be getting at aside from wanting to help her out a bit.

"Having my men stop to chit-chat is a waste of time and money. It was more efficient for everyone to have you brought in without question" As Akiza continued to speak, Roze continued to step toward her. Though she had managed to catch up to what had been going on around her, her implication about the Sky Queen's name caused the woman to reach out with her left hand, aiming to flick the lass on her forehead. "Roze is an epithet. My name is Shirousagi. The title Roze came from my days as Thorn Queen, just like my original name came from my run style. It's the road we all end up taking. Well... most of us. The good ones." In the midst of her speech, the woman walked toward the windows to her right, motioning for the Thorn Queen to follow so she, too, could have a view of the city. "We've got a lot in common, y'know? Us Thorn Queens, I mean. No one else suffers the way we do by being outside of a tower. That's two of the reasons we're here. Look up there. Half of this city is upside-down on the ceiling because of the gravity platforms being used in a zero-gravity space, but there are a lot of areas in this city that don't have them on purpose. That's the first reason: Because we're better in the tower. The opposite is the other reason. I've seen how you ride, and you force hyperventilation more often than I ever did... except for a few times. I discovered a secret to the Sonia Road those times, but I decided never to use it. You, on the other hand, have less general strain on your body, just like the rest of your tower compared to mine... so I think you could make something of it."

Akiza could already see there was no way of talking the white haired woman into admitting that the kidnapping of her as a person wasn't a necessity. Even so, she kind of wished the woman would understand how traumatizing such a thing could be. But it seemed the girl would be receiving a bit of physical pain to go along with her trauma, because soon after she was trying to reason out the name thing, she was flicked in the forehead. Such an action was so unexpected she couldn't even dodge only reach up to cover her own forehead and be a bit stunned. "Ouch." following this though, the girl received a full explanation on the naming of Shoichi's eldest sister. "Ooh, that... makes sense." the young girl mentioned and soon enough she was stepping over to have a look out the window. She was following all the things said by her predecessor and though she didn't get the bit about body stress, she figured if she really needed an explanation she'd remember to ask the person who pointed body stress out to her as a factor. "Hmm... something out of what exactly? I get the hyperventilation thing, I've always gone a bit harder for that... it's a bit of a reflex. But... I didn't know there was a use for it beyond what was intended." she said knowing that forcing that kind of breathing was one of the reasons her road hurt her so much when she was outside of the Tower, but it hadn't been anything she could correct.
