Powers & Abilities: As one of the Olympians and the messenger of the Gods, Hermes is both immortal and highly resistant to most forms of physical damage. He possesses the standard abilities of a god, such as enhanced physical abilities as well as increased endurance; allowing him to remain physically active for incredible periods of time. However, his most famous attribute is his immense physical agility and speed thanks to his connection to the Speed Force.
Speed Force Generator: Hermes is the very source and creator of the Speed Force; an energy field and dimension that grants him his speed. The Speed Force has a part of Hermes’ soul embedded to it and for this very reason, he is unaffected if any other conduit tries to steal or drain his speed. Hermes has also been known to make use the dimensional quality of the Speed Force by pulling people in his close vicinity into it, giving him a home field advantage.
  • Bodily vibration: Hermes can vibrate different body parts for various effects. This can mask his form from being clearly perceived or distort his vocal cords to disguise his voice. His vibrations can forcibly expel any toxins in him. He can also generate enough heat to recover and even be kept thermally insulated from extreme cold. Offensively, he can vibrate his limbs to seamlessly grind through highly solid targets, which he can use to harm or kill a person.
    • Geokinesis: By vibrating at varying frequencies and with different levels of force, Hermes can create small tremors to induce extreme amounts of jolt on any target he touches, even disrupt the inter-molecular bonds and cause it to shatter. His vibrations can even shatter objects into fragments.
    • Phasing: By vibrating his molecules at the frequency of air, Hermes can physically pass through solid objects. He could later do this with multiple targets, saving an entire moving train and hundreds of passengers. His efficiency can harmlessly pass through living individuals. Alternatively, he can use this as a weapon by passing his punch through a person's body.
  • Electrokinesis: Hermes can produce yellow electricity from his body. While mostly used to boost his speed to higher levels, it can also be used in many other ways. The intensity of it can interfere with the surrounding electronics and overwhelm electric-absorption. He can focus the energy into specific part of his body to produce a strong static shock on contact with the target. Hermes can harness this electricity to repeatedly hurl lightning to stun or repel enemies, and also electrify a surface.
    • Speed Steal: Hermes is able to absorb the speed and/or momentum from anyone or anything. He demonstrated this by slowing down an explosion.
  • Enhanced mental process: Hermes’ speed enhances and extends to his mental capacities, making his system and thought processing able to take in and retain information just as fast and efficiently. Even while using his raw speed, he can clearly think, react to events, and perform actions long before normal humans can perceive them. This lets him learn in a small fraction of the normal time.
  • Enhanced perceptions: Hermes’ speed extends to and enhances his senses. This allows Hermes to perceive the world faste, as well as see and hear normally, even while moving at speeds faster than sound, where this would normally be impossible.
  • Superhuman agility: Hermes has demonstrated flawless coordination, equilibrium and dexterity. He can change direction with immediate sharp turns without sliding or losing balance and instantly stop running on the spot. He can jump and run along falling debris and launch himself tremendous distances with little build-up.
  • Superhuman reflexes: Hermes’ reaction time is augmented to superhuman levels, allowing him to react to danger and events far faster than normal humans.
  • Superhuman speed: Hermes can move at vast speeds. This lets him move completely unnoticed by others, run across vertical structures and over large masses of water. While running, he can only be perceived as a blur. Hermes has continually grown faster, reaching Mach 14, though it is said that his speed is potentially limitless.
    • Aerokinesis: Hermes can use his speed to generate air flows on various levels and for various effects. He can create vortexes to suffocate people or extinguish fires by forming it around them. He can create large and strong tornadoes, able to repel massive targets. Alternatively, he can use this skill to propel himself through the air as a pseudo-form of flying.
    • Speed mirages: Hermes can generate illusions of himself to make it appear as if he is in many places at once, when in reality he is simply bouncing back and forth too fast for the mind to perceive the difference. He can create dozens of after-images, allowing him to disorientate his enemies and then catch them off guard.
    • Superhuman momentum: Hermes can generate great amounts of physical force through kinetic energy, simulating superhuman strength, even in a stationary position. He can propel himself through the air to jump tremendous heights and distances. He can also create substantial frictional force with any object he touches, and exert enough force to send people flying through the air. This seemingly negates the weight of his target, able to move about as if targets are frozen, even in mid-air, and propel targets several feet and manipulate their flight path.

Godly Possessions:
  • Armor of Motion: The Armor of Motion was initially Hermes' battle attire. Nowadays he is rarely seen without it. It is made of an unknown material that is very durable but also very light, so it doesn't hinder Hermes' movements. Instead, the enchantments on the armor as a whole enhance Hermes' speed and overall fighting capabilities. When Hermes runs in his armor, he is emphasized by a trail of yellow/orange lightning. The armor is dark in color and has a metallic yet flexible surface whereas the connection parts reflect the bright orange/yellow light from the interior of the armor. It covers the entirety of Hermes' body, but allows him to see and speak normally. The armor bears a lightning symbol on the chest and has the ability to form different weapons (e.g. a scythe or a sword) for Hermes to use in combat. After being charged enough by Hermes' running, the created weapon starts to glow and stays like that until its discharged. Perhaps the most astonishing feature of the armor is its ability to instantly assemble around Hermes at his will, saving him from the trouble of wearing it.
