For a moment after their fists met, Maiko got to see the orange eyes of the Takumi they'd all adjusted to as a member of Eira's Peerage initially. What he remembered was likely the moment in which the pair of them seemed to be heavily reliant on each other in such a way as to imply a relationship. Maiko happened to go wide eyed at this apology in the realization of why it was given she simply shook her head. "Iie, friends are there to fill in for what's missing... it's nothing to apologize for," she said giving a light pat to the top of this lad's head. Maiko in her random association with everyone else, and in having dealt with her own grief, fully understood the sort of weakness the other Takumi showed in the week prior. "I am sure if you're on the brides side of that, they call you the Man of Honor. Which I think should make you feel better... it's not my fault you keep getting girly associations," she said sticking her tongue out at the lad. And after that Eira got to watch as everyone seemed to settle into a normal level of humdrum at the start of this situation. All the while her eyes shifted back to the door, to wait for the one person missing from her evening. 'Come on... I'm waiting...'
