Biography:
Cade Atheron Brooks was born to an Irish father and a British mother, living in England. His father, Colin Brooks, is a full-time Auror and his mother, Erin Brooks, was a ministry worker at the British Ministry of Magic. Having no siblings, Cade was raised with the utmost care and deliberateness. Cade’s father taught him magic from a small age, only to find out that his son didn’t have a particularly exceptional talent for it. After his father gave up on teaching him, his mother tried to guide him into Quidditch, believing his lack of talent for magic could be caused by his affinity to sports. Though soon that also proved to be a dead end. Thus, the attention of their parents increasingly started to reflect upon him more as expectations. As a result he grew up to be a young boy who tried to maintain a detached image from society trying to be worthy of the reputation of his parents. At the age of eleven, Cade received his acceptance letter to Hogwarts. But to his father and mother, it was more of a letter of relief that their son still had a chance to make it in the magical world.

After arriving at Hogwarts, Cade was quite sure what house he would be sorted into. Every single wizard and witch from both his paternal and maternal side had attended Hogwarts, and coincidentally all of them had been sorted into Slytherin. That’s why Cade was so surprised when the Sorting Hat announced his allegiance to Gryffindor. He received an owl post the next day, containing a letter that only displayed the word ‘Congratulations’. Feeling more like an outcast than ever in his life, the young wizard was lost. He spent his first days completely thoughtful, unable to focus on his lessons. But in the end it occurred to him that despite the belief of his parents, his path was only his to control. He understood that he was not hopeless, but a late-bloomer as he managed to display his skills after grueling hard work and dedication. Now he is on his last year as a quite accomplished student.
