The Four Elemental Nature Spirits are Lore Creatures of Alaya. They are high concentrations of Spiritual Energy given life to reign over a specific aspect of nature. Knowing even one of these spirits can give a 'Natural Mage' the ability to modify and boost their own abilities by a great deal. Each element has its own benefits and its own risks and each Spirit has its own personality. Combining ones own energy with that of an Elemental Nature Spirit allows access to 'Spirit Mana' which is of a different and older quality than the mana exhibited by regular beings. The ability to commune with multiple spirits is known as being a 'Priest or Priestess of Nature' it is a rare skill which has several hidden requirements and gives more as the user takes from Nature to embody that which it desires.

Elemental Nature Spirits


Name: Sylpheed (Sylph)
Appearance:

A nature spirit who takes the form of a young lithe fairy with white hair which hangs down past her waist. She is 'dressed' in a single strip of green cloth which crosses over her chest, wraps around her body and then falls along her waist. Leaving just the skin of her torso and thighs exposed. Beyond this she has small triangular markings up both of her thighs and a single tuft of uncontrolled hair over the top of her head. Her body is also covered in small wings she has approximately four of these small feathered protrusions with further her aspects of other-worldliness. Her face is completed by two large blue green eyes and her expression tends to be happy.

Spirit Magic: As a Spirit, Slyph has full access to massive quantities of magic. Her element Wind has increased extra sensory ability and its spread is nearly infinite. Upon summoning the use of Wind Spirit Magic is added to the summoner or in certain cases, it is added to their weapon which can be used as a catalyst for Spirit Magic.
Spirit Enhancement: Spirit Enhancement adds to the magic already used by the Summoner. Making their wind based techniques all the more deadly and wide-spread. The Spirit Enhancement of Wind is finite control of the shape, size and spread of wind-based techniques as well as the ability to use wind to augment already existing items or spells.
Spirit Dive: This is an assimilation spell, after certain prerequisites are made, Sylph can enter the body of the Nature Mage she's bonded to. Doing this allows for a form change of the Mage, they gain rings of wind magic around their wrists, wind wings as well as well as a crown. All of these things allow for a major boost to their component magic, expanding upon the general use of said magic and letting their user perform feats of magic on a catastrophic level. Even non-mages are allowed to shine with such an expert influx of magic.




Name: Pygmy
Appearance:

Pygmy takes the appearance of a small imp with dragon wings, a big belly, hooves, tail and three eyes. He has long green hair, a devlish smile and golden eyes. He is also prone to wearing large golden hoop earrings and accessories. In addition he wears a small loincloth and a single piece of white fabric over his chest crossing it to hang along his wings.

Spirit Magic: As a spirit, Pygmy has full access to large quantities of magic. His element 'Earth' comes with extra magnetism and a profound ability to propagate. Upon contact use of Earth Spirit Magic is added to an individual. In certain cases, this Earth Spirit Magic is added to a weapon belonging to the user to channel it.
Spirit Enhancement: Spirit Enhancement of Earth, adds to the magic of the user already in use. Even if their skills aren't obviously 'Earth' based. The ability to propagate is increased by a great amount, causing a vast increase to the number of things under the control of the user or magnetized to them.
Spirit Dive: Is an assimilation spell, giving the user legs and body covered in deep green magic and with a magical enhancement around the waist, wings similar to the one possessed by Pygmy himself. This form gives finite control of Earth Spirit Magic and allows a greater control and distance of magnetism as well as an increase in the number of things which can be 'propagated' by its effects. Creation of Earth Spirit Magic becomes as easy and gentle as taking a few steps out into the world.




Name: Salamander
Appearance:

Salamander takes the form of a small flaming wingless dragon, he speaks telepathically but large eyes and glowing jewels on its body help it express itself. It usually has something of a devilish smile on its face and it burns with a flame exceedingly hot to the touch aside from his chosen summoner. The power of fire is immense within its person and the color of his flame tends to shift with its mood.

Spirit Magic: Salamander as a spirit has access to vast quantities of magic. His element fire comes with a bonus to destruction and an added buff to purification techniques. Upon summoning him, Fire Spirit Magic is added to the user or in certain cases their weapons to varied and tremendous effects.
Spirit Enhancement: Spirit Enhancement adds to the already existing fire magic of the user, allowing it to burn for indefinite amounts of time. The Enhancement of Fire Spirit Magic allows the burning of purification to occur, creating flames which heal allies but also purify foes of less than dubious origins.
Spirit Dive: The assimilation technique for the Spirit of Fire Salamander. It cloaks the user in flames, it also gives a crown of fire and rings of flames dance around the center of their wrists. Additionally it grants them the use of a large flaming wings equal in size to that of the spirit known as Sylph. The enhancement of Fire Spirit Magic and its control is much greater than before and even allows for the mass burning of giant areas on a selective basis.

Appearance:

Undine has the appearance of a prepubescent mermaid complete with a fish tail in immaculate rainbow scales. Her skin is pale blue and her hair is long and bright blue in color and flows down her back. Instead of a shirt, she wears a large golden necklace which covers most of her upper torso. She also has long bunny-like ears which she uses

Spirit Magic: As a Spirit, Undine has full access to massive quantities of magic. Her Water Magic comes with the ability to find and spread. It gives a passive bonus to magic find and allows the use of Water Spirit Magic, either through the summoner or their weapon depending on the cases.
Spirit Enhancement: The Spirit Enhancement of Water Magic elongates the duration of effects applied using it. Beyond this it allows for the creation of more water the greater spread of a single ability into multiple targets and even the specialized use of effects beyond the original nature they presented. Water with its effect of ebb and flow can also be taken back at a much higher rate, causing the return of the powers granted to raise highly over time.
Spirit Dive: An assimilation spell which covers the legs in water magic giving a pseudo-mermaid appearance and creates at the small of the back a small magical fin like wings of water parallel to the one which would be created by the Earth spirit. This entire portion of the body is covered in water magic and allows for the channeling of great amounts of water. The control of this water is considered astronomical and can bring water away from people or towards them at great speeds and with great amounts of power.
