Types

When Devils are created or born they are classified in terms of power by their set base Parameters. Each of these listings comes with its own power structure and determines how high into Devil Society a single entity can climb.

Kings
Within the Void have a base Parameter of EX. They are considered the highest tier of being and demand respect from all others below them. Most wouldn't stir for anything below their own level, everyone else is laughable.

Dukes
Within the Void have a base Parameter of S. While they are not the absolute highest, they claim a very high tier of power and only live in fear of a single tier above them.

Princes
Within the Void have a base Parameter of A. Everything they do has a great deal of power behind it. And they have a more than reasonable command of their abilities.

Marquises
Within the Void have a base Parameter of B. They are not overly powerful but instead seemed to be very balanced in terms of power and skill.

Counts
Within the Void have a base Parameter of C. They are not very powerful and are often found only ordering about lesser devils and doing the bidding of those higher than them for protection.

Knights
Within the Void have a base Parameter of D. They are not very powerful by Devil standards and are often used by higher tier Devils as scouts and messengers. Knight type Devils are only good for fighting and annoying human threats.

Earls
Within the Void have a base Parameter of E. They don't have any real power to speak of compared to other devils and are considered to be very lowly. Those of this type are generally kept as 'pets' and used to influence creatures considered to be even lesser than Devils like… humans.


Classes

A Devil's class is a basic understanding of their skills and their abilities as far as offense and defense are concerned. They do not determine a Devil's base stats and instead determine the kinds of skills and abilities they can use, as well as the amount of threat they pose to large groups of humanity.


Three Calamitous Classes

Those classed as Calamities have skills and abilities which make them much higher tier compared to their Nexus counterparts. Their skills alone place them on a level that would make it possible for them to create genocide wherever they spawn, wiping entire populations from the lands with their skills and abilities.

Specter

Devils classed as Specters are magical in nature but their magic is a corrupt form of black magic far beyond the levels general seen by magicians founded by the Nexus. Their class skills include Kotodama (which allows them to manipulate the world in front of them with the power of their words to an extent which is determined by their Type), Anti-Magic (which allows them to dispel or disintegrate other types of magic *including that of other devils* dependent upon their own skill), and Fracture (which allows them to create Rifts in space bridging the gaps between the worlds and the Void). Specter and Caster are considered comparative classes as their abilities are both centered around magecraft and don't require physical strength.

Tyrant

Devils classed as Tyrant are physically imposing super beings. Their skills buff their physical and magical abilities as well as make them incapable of being physically felled upon the battlefield. They come with the ability to weaken those around them passively with their mere presence. The class skill, Spontaneous Regeneration makes it so they are able to heal any damage their body takes down to a cellular level. So long as a piece of them remains they are able to regrow their body and continue battling. They also have the class skill, Lethal Presence, which causes those within their physical space to be assailed by energy at such a massive level that they cease existing (controlled by scale). Tyrant's Stance which dominates even the devil's own being in such a way as to enhance their parameters a tier by sacrificing part of their nearly infinite life force. Their comparative Class is Berserker because of their shared physically enhancing qualities and dominating offensive and regenerative prowess.

Master

Devils classed as Master are not always physically imposing but instead use powers of suggestion to impose their wills upon weaker creatures. This class of devil is particularly tricky because their skills can be used against any who are weaker than they are, making them undeniable by those they enslave. Coercion is a skill which allows a Master class Devil to brainwash other creatures, the sinister nature of this skill is that when it is used, it causes creatures to forget their own nature and will, making them live for their 'master's' wishes with no thought of themselves. Use of this ability will create honorable servants, who would become horses, chairs, or even footstools if their master's desired it. Servant Integration allows the Master class Devil to absorb their enslaved creature of choice, gaining their abilities at the sacrifice of the creatures life, this includes special or hidden talents. Thrall Parade, the ability to call forth hordes of creatures to do battle on their behalf, orders to battle are absolute and a creature called forth to serve this way will do so through fatigue, injury and even to annihilation. The Master class is comparative to Rider though considered to be outright more sinister.


Four Disastrous Classes

Those classed as Disasters have the ability to cause destruction on a massive scale but it is generally limited to a smaller area and fewer targets. It is said that the difference between a Disaster and a Calamity is that a Disaster is potentially escapable.

Reaper

Those classed as Reapers are particularly talented with bladed weapons and have skills that help them excel at killing with strikes of great magnitude. They are said to have the skill necessary to kill any time they are given the opening to do so. Desecration is the ability to channel devil energy into an appropriate weapon, creating a burst of devil energy or cloaking the blade to further enhance its destructive capabilities. Impulse another class ability allows the devil to react to anything in a near perfect timing with violent accuracy, lashing out against all perceived threats, especially those which are magical or at range. They also have the skill Coercion allowing them to gain mastery over lesser creatures given them control of their bodies for use in the physical sense. Reaper is comparative to Saber but in the Devil Hierarchy is considered lesser because the concentration on weapon use is a learned skill and not an innate one.

Impaler

Those classed as Impaler are talented with polearm type weapons, particularly with using them as weapons of terror and murder. Impaler class are gifted with skills to make them terrifying to their targets and allow them the easiest access to the deaths they wish to provide. Geis, a class skill which allows the application of a semi-permanent curse magics which bind users to agreements which while not almighty in their inception are capable of altering the tides of battle with relative ease when used correctly. Infinite Impale, a class skill which show cases ones ability to use any pole like object as an implement to impale a body upon. It makes use of a shift in time to use the same weapon to impale multiple bodies in a single moment. Coercion, a class skill which allows them to command armies of followers ranked lower than them on the power of their Charisma with the lot giving up their freedom of agency to serve. Comparatively Impale is most like Lancer, as they are singular focused weapon skills which benefit from high skill and levelheadedness. Though it suffers as a class skill in the same way that Reaper does.

Sniper

Those classed as Sniper are ranged Devils, who specialize in the use of projectiles to kill with impunity. Their class skills make it easier for them to achieve absolute annihilation even from a distance. Precognition allows them the ability to see through illusions and misdirection even so far as to see past the movements of targets leading them with their eyes to the place of the most perfect shot. Weakness Exploit is another class ability which allows the Sniper to see with impunity the weakest part of any creature they are targeting and if they hit said part the creature takes extra damage. Some body parts are always considered weak points and as such they are always guaranteed to know certain critical points, such as Heads and Hearts. Projectile Manipulation, which allows for the control of impact, trajectory as well as velocity of projectiles fired by the Devil in question, giving them near absolute ability to hit those targeted weak points. Snipers compare most easily to the class Archer, in their range combat capabilities and lack of real physical offense or defense.

Poltergeist

Those classed as Poltergeist specialize in single territory death matches against a limited number of targets. That being said they find themselves capable of killing most easily through non-conventional methods like curses, terror and magical disturbances. Oppressive Presence, a class skill which takes the ability to hide oneself to a new level in which the presence the devil isn't masked but is instead so large and overwhelming that it is given a physical space and the attribute of its creator, making them unidentifiable within the space. Stalker, a class skill which allows for tracking of a targeted entity even though means of random interference. Dimensional Pocket, an extension of Void space which allows the Poltergeist to store anything it likes between Dimensions. This includes lesser beings, weapons, and magic for later usage.
