Jason's snap at Kolin made her stop speaking. If nothing else, she wasn't about to not get off this ship being so close to her own personal sanctuary. Still it didn't sit right with her, the idea that Nerys was not acknowledging her and specifically seemed unready to depart. Jason's words to Nerys were no less abrasive but she'd gotten quite used to Jason in the last few days. In that time, she'd come to realize he said exactly what he meant in any given moment. He was a very honest man... perhaps a bit worn by the world but still good. At the very least, Nerys could read his temperament and knew as long as she didn't cross him and remained useful that she'd be in no real danger. She was almost certain that even without sex (before it was offered anyways) she could have been quite an asset to the man and he realized that himself. Those were terms she could have bargained with on her own, but those were taken away by Kolin and her oaths. "That's about what I thought. I was just double checking... ya' know before someone ordered me dragged off the ship. Forgetting she released me from servitude and angry about my existence again~" Nerys words came out teasing but she meant them and she knew enough of Kolin to know that she would have done exactly that and maybe Lot would have complied to try and steal her away even if she didn't want to go. "I did no such thing, and I can't leave you on this ship, how could you guarantee your safety?" these were the words of Kolin about releasing Nerys and a play at manipulation but that sort of thing wouldn't work against Nerys as she already knew what Kolin was like. But there were several reasons Kolin didn't want to leave her on the ship, and none of them were good.
"Yeah, that won't work one me, especially not now. I take my orders from the Captain Jason. The man whose moods don't go from ignoring me to trying to have me raped and murdered in seconds over things that he has happening in his own head. Enjoy your big goals whoredom." Nerys gave that last sentence with a happy wave. She really and truly had no intention of getting off this ship in the first place after she got on it. It was simply easier that Jason claimed her as one of his and he'd already pretty much silenced Kolin's ability to misbehave in doing so. Kolin seemed to think about this for a second or two her expression souring. She wanted to keep Nerys, she could have sworn her anew, if Jason hadn't just laid claim to her like that. Ugh, everything was so difficult, she'd make her regret it eventually. She also wasn't allowed to choose someone else. Ah, but she couldn't really think like that anymore... she had to behave, she had a promise of no harm upon such people. "That's a bit annoying you are the only fully specialized healer I had on hand..." a shrug came from Nerys, if she knew such things were hard to come by she probably shouldn't have offered her up to a sand pirate.
