It was trash. Maki knew that more than most, the way awakenings work, if a mage didn't awaken at at least B-rank they probably wouldn't get any real work. Even in lower ranking Dungeons it'd be better to find a C-rank or something similar to do the majority of the mana related damage. "It really is, I basically have E-ranked mana and if Shidou-kaicho used that alone as a marker I wouldn't be able to work at all," Maki explained of the amount of difference between such things. With the information that this was their first official day, she figured they hadn't encountered a lot of people and wouldn't have any idea of what the outlook for a normal E-rank was. "I was hoping he'd be there at the end. Until I knew for certain that you were capable, I figured he'd most likely be my partner for this," Maki observed of the swordsmen. While they cleared the area, there was a remarkably low number of spiders and the ants didn't seem to be actively engaging. Still she was clearing them in waves keeping a certain radius around them relatively clear as she listened to Yugi's explanation of his eyes. "Sou ka, that's pretty badass. Also a bit unfair, but, you're actually working your way through it and not resting on it, so I can respect it," Maki confirmed of her own type understanding, with Yugi having a 7 percent increase in their Intimacy as they spoke and worked together in this moment. As for the lad's questions she'd answer them though he only asked one immediately. "No idea. When the call went out about the Break, it only said it was an Insect Dungeon... the scouting report belonged to a private Guild so it may not have been shared publicly they owned the rights to it and all," she said casually explaining a bit more of how it worked. "Next..." she added while another swing made her brows furrow.
In the moment after Kenta burst through the mouth of that creature, everyone still alive and present seemed to be a bit dissatisfied by the display. The only one who had words was the swordsman, who questioned what the man would have done if he'd envenomated himself with his display. There was no reasl answer but the point was clear, it was a stupid thing to do, for no apparent reason. The two Miko cared most about were with her as she began her movements towards the other centipede. As for the question posed by the swordsman Miko had an answer. "There are spiders descending here. Like the whole nest worth, so many it sounds like static," Miko confirmed for him. But of course, Sato Kenta was yelling about a rendezvous and all that like he was still in charge here. But Miko wasn't having that, lives were on the line and she didn't have time to play his game. Miko had a passing message. "Sato-san, this place is a death trap, and so is everything forward from here. We're meeting up with the other damage dealers!" Miko exclaimed. He could do what he wanted, but she wasn't going forward into a spider lair without some real damage dealers. "Nii-san, if we go the path the ants came from we'll mostly be unbothered, we can get back to group two with relative ease, just keep an eye out for the spiders coming," Miko claimed.
