Men were men, this much was true, but Genokiller wasn't a man. He was an enigma. The perversions of Aiba Yugi, were fun, and his pure interest in deviance was fine, but Genokiller was about the work. His attitude was something wholly different and Makima would be learning that directly. As Miko bought and summoned a computer with which to find the fansite she was looking for, METAFALL, she incidentally outed herself as one of Genokiller's biggest followers. "Hai hai, resisting urge to tell people they are trash and don't know what they are talking about!~" Miko chirped happily. Upon finding out that she likely wouldn't be found out she typed in her own ID: IncandescentHart and logged in after typing a password which seemed to be in iambic pentameter. Makima for her part in this only raised an eyebrow. "IncandescentHart?" she questioned the girl. "Look when you're young you make up weird online names. I have a more professional one, but this one feels better for general purposes..." Miko claimed happily.
Still, there were quite a few things to see. Though, there had been no new sightings of the Genokiller in quite a while, several posts had people claiming to be that guy, and posting proof by way of completed runs, unorthodox character builds, and even a few advice or tech offers. But they were quickly shut down. GenoTransfuser was a name which appeared quite frequently. Saying things like "Fuck you, the Genokiller would never had come up with such a stupid plan!" or "The Genokiller would have broken the scoreboard." and one worth a secondary note, "A virgin like you could never be the Genokiller because I'd never sleep with you!" those were quite interesting. Makima had something to say about that... "That one has some very strong feelings about the Genokiller," Makima observed. "Yeah, she is probably the only person I'd count as a bigger fan of his than me. I'd consider her an internet friend, we usually chat when a game is up that is revelant, but I don't play all of them," Miko explained. As Miko began her points to Makima. "A while after games go up and METAs are established the Genokiller appears. META in this case being the Most EFfective Tactics Available. It's for people who can't get past content or find it easier to go along with a specific way to beat something that someone else has already used to complete it," Miko started, Makima did have a question though, a normal one to be certain. "Shouldn't you want to use the most effective tactics to complete a task?" she asked, as Miko made it seem like it was a problem. "I think you should do what's fun to you. But simply letting someone else figure out what works and abusing that isn't good. Like sure no one is going back to bringing an army of spear wielders against nukes or whatever, but... the stakes in games aren't the same, creativity goes out the window and so does our ability to play to your own benefit. You use someone else's tech and it'll never work for you like it works for them," Miko asserted waiting to see if Yugi would have anything to add. She was one of his most fanantical followers but she wouldn't speak too candidly on his behalf while he was in the room...
Still she brought up a particular video she always enjoyed, a MonHun Clear of one of the final bosses, as a team carry using a Sword and Shield. "In this game, everyone was demanding that all participants play a specific weapon, with specific gear, or the owner of the party would kick you. Not a problem if you wanted to play alone, but it got really toxic trying to get in a few quick runs with parties if you weren't willing to dress ugly or play the one weapon everyone else was playing, this is the Genokiller appearing to fix the problem!♪~" Miko asserted. She let a video play while Makima tuned in. The premise of this particular game wasn't unlike killing bosses within the Dungeon, she could understand it enough to know party composition shouldn't be all the same weapon at least. "Sou ka," Makima said. "That was a pretty novel way to handle it. Hell yeah it was, and it made it much easier for me to play one of the two weapons I normally do in that game!" Miko asserted. "And then, in this one, Ishigami Daisuke got a clear in the early game with a rogue build, so it became standard for the season. Genokiller went in with a full Knight build and wiped!" she showed those clips. She made sure Makima got full visuals. Every fight, every different tactic. Every methodical completion. Every challenge started with a 'Game on!'. It was magnificent. And this was just referencing games Miko played herself... anything that included potential romance options, a high tier fashion scene, or games with beat maps.
